  1. Recently got DirecTV so I started trying to catch up on the show. I need up missing everything mid-ish Cult on. With AHS:1984, DirecTV had every episode... except episode 4. So, I’m watching that on FXNow
  2. Finished the season late last night/early this morning. There is a lot to process. Alex’s dad totally knows. Hearing Ani telling the story of what happened, while seeing what actually happened was very chilling. I’m not sure I believe Monty is dead since we didn’t see a body. Unless they purposely didn’t show it due to the past two seasons facing controversy after having something graphic on this TV-MA Rated show. Tyler’s actor should get several award nominations at the very least for is performance when he told Clay, alone
  3. I wonder if I was supposed to laugh as hard as I did when Ani pointed out that Clay’s favorite character in the AKR comics was the guy whose sole personality trait is that he wants to save everyone, and then going “Ah” a moment afterwards, as it clicked for her.
  4. Can’t remember the episode number, so I’m spoilering this.
  5. I’m thinking the safest, spoiler friendly way to do this might be giving the episode number and putting what you want to say in Spoiler Tags. On that note: Episode 3:
  6. Just finished episode two, and this is my thought process, too. The storyline would have been far more compelling had the entire marketing campaign for the season not revolved around asking who killed Bryce
  7. 1,000% this. If they they go into the media sensation side of things, I expect to hear Bryce’s academics and athletics brought up a LOT
  8. I’d like to see Eleven remain powerless for at least half the season. It would be be interesting to see how The Party deals with the upcoming threat(s) without that nuke in their back pocket.
  9. Just saw this today. That is a hook, right there.
  10. Maybe it’s because I’m follicly challenged, but I thought both Nancy and Jonathan had very nice looking hair.
  11. I used a darkroom in high school. I was class of 2004.
  12. I watched a video on YouTube about the season yesterday and it picked up on something I totally missed in the episode. When Paul Reiser and the military guys stormed the Soviet Compound, and they got to the room with the machine, there was a three inch opening. The door is open three inches.
  13. The Comic-Con news reminded me I needed to catch up yet again, so I did. Of the character’s roughly 6 origin stories, this was my favorite Negaduck origin. Duck Knight Returns and Friendship Hates Magic were my favorites from this block of episodes. Did we get any indication that Webby was trying to bring Lena back, before this, though? I honestly have no memory of Lena even being mentioned prior to this.
  14. Steve and Mr. Wheeler antics are something I never knew I wanted until right now. You just know Mr. Wheeler went HARD during the 1960s.
  15. The way my brain interpreted this sentence was so not how you intended it.
  16. Recruitment? Seemed like the entire town was at the community pool.
  17. It was weird, especially considering that we’ve seen tons of cans of it throughout the season, yet was only now being discussed of some liking it, some not.
  18. If they count, all the movies that were listed as playing at the mall theater. The one that stood out to me was The Stuff. Mainly because somebody else remembers that it exists.
  19. My two favorite exchanges of the entire season.
  20. *Adds Neverending Story Theme on Spotify* Well, this was a doozy of a season! I think my favorite aspect of the season was how each individual storyline seemed like it very well could have been the plots to movies that would have fit right in during 1985. You got the Goonies like family friendly adventure about two teens who discover the mall they work at is hiding a secret Russian infiltration operation. The teen sci-fi/horror story about two hapless newspaper interns, trying to prove their worth, and end up discovering a slow corrupting invasion from an other worldly species (Sidenote: I got way too much enjoyment out of the running gag where Nancy kept barging into the dark room, exposing Jonathan’s film) And for the adults, there is the political thriller where a small town cop uncovered a corrupt politician’s plot to deal with a foreign power for personal gain.
  21. I hope Alexi had fun at the carnival. ;____;
  22. Joyce going all “I demand to speak to your manager” on the covert military line was amazing.
  23. Well... ”We’ll Meet Again” is going to have a whole new connotation after this episode. That ending was chilling.
  24. I know they used the song in season 2, but this episode had the best use of You Don’t Mess Around With Jim ever.
