Words by Jill: There is so much in the Scripture about having a day of REST each week. Yet, how many times do we ignore it and carry around our "busyness" like a trophy? 🤔 I am probably more guilty than most. 😬 David and I were talking about it the other day. We determined to strive (when we are able to) to be purposeful with our day of REST. To find "out of the ordinary" things to do. To connect with our quickly growing family. To make memories. To pause. To "drink" in life, and to remember what it is that we are fighting for..... 1) Our faith 2) Propagating the Gospel 3) Holy Living 4) Raising God fearing children 5) Having gratitude & contentment 6) So much more! So, this day going to a specialty grocery store, hiking on a beautiful trail, and then going out for pizza as a family, was beautiful. Refreshing. Mentally restful. Obeying the Bible always brings such peace in our lives. 😊 Exodus 34:21a "Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest:"

Their clickbait nonsense is ridiculous. Does anyone recall Carlin having an iron fall off a shelf and hit her on the head? The title of the video before the circumstances were known, “I thought she might BLEED OUT! New PROBLEMS and new DOCTORS!”. Sickening.

There was a special on eggs a few weeks ago with a limit of 2 dozen. When I was checking out, the cashier asked me if I checked the eggs, which I always do. It was odd. A friend of mine went to a different store and she was asked the same question. It turns out people have been opening eggs and taking a few from the cartons.

What a special day this was! ❤️ Our children definitely deserved a day at SeaWorld! 😁 They work so hard in the Print Shop and on the road while traveling. We love them beyond description! One of the BEST choices we ever made was to allow God the choice of how big our family would be. Yes, it has come with many moments of self sacrifice on David's and my part.....but the blessing we receive back FAR outweighs that! Psalm 127:3 "Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
