  1. Or The Empty is like Purgatory for humans. I wonder if Dabb read all the speculation about the season being a dream because the article made sure to point out they didn't erase anything that came before.
  2. Unless, Baby Lucifer does something to Cas that makes him kill Sam and/or Dean.
  3. I personally don't think Dean did this because of of his unconditional love for Sam. He did it because its a product of Dean's twisted up psyche. Dean feels Sam's life is worth more than his. This is what John brainwashed him into thinking from a very early age. He did it because he thought he failed Sam and couldn't live with him dead. That is not the same as not being able to live without someone as we've seen Dean this without Sam when he was at school and after Sam went to hell. Selling your soul also pretty much guaruntees you won't be with that person. IMO, the brothers trying to sacrifice themselves for the other isn't a "bond" It's a toxic codependecny that has hurt more people then its helped since it started two apocalypses.
  4. Looking at Ausiellos score card there are a whole bunch of possible fatalities and 5 fatalites. I figure Ketch and Kelly are two of those, and hopefully Lucifer. If they did a time jump its possible that whatever realm they are in moves slower than the real world (kind of like hell). So more time passes in the real world. I think thinking about that scene where Dean's leg is all torn up (at least I'm pretty sure its him). I wonder if he is the only one who makes it back and the rest of the team are either dead or missing in the alternate world. He comes back to the bunker and then we see him collapse and we're left wondering his fate.
  5. I think the difference is that even though Dean is a demon, the audience knew it wouldn't be permanent, that Dean would eventually be cured. (Even if it was too soon for my liking). If hey kill Cas, I don't see it being permanent, but if it was, I don't see them using the term "love,"
  6. The problem with bringing Bobby back is that the writers are going to have the same problem with they with Dean, Cas, Crowley and Mary this season. What do they do with him. Sam and Dean don't need him to bring them cases. They live in a room a requirement, and have books and lore on just about anything, so they don't need him to do research. I can't say I'd look forward to him lecturing Dean about how much he screwed up and its a good things Bobby is there to set him straight. Part of the reason, I dislike s7 is that I felt they focused too much on Bobby and Sam and Dean came across as junior hunters in training. I don't really see need for the character at this point in the series. It just feels like his story is done. I personally would find it lame if he came out of no where to save everyone. Shouldn't Sam and Dean be doing that?
  7. I always thought Dean and Sam didn't hug mostly due to circumstances. When Dean is caught and lead down the stairs, Jensen did a really nice job with showing us the relief that was all over Dean's face that Sam was okay. (Relatively speaking). Toni had been torturing Sam and was starting in on Dean. You don't get all emotional in a moment like that, as it give the enemy more to use against you. This might be an unpopular opinion but Sam and Dean reunions where one comes back from the dead are about a dime a dozen at this point. No need to repeat the exact same material. Anything they said could give Toni the impression that the best way to get one to talk was to beat on the other. Then Mick showed up, and they had to explain Mary being resurrected. Sam's shock over that took precedent. As for Dean and Cas, the script didn't include a hug between them, but it was something that was adlibbed by Misha and Jensen (it was mentioned at a con, don't ask me to remember which one.) But it was just the 3 of them in the Bunker. Same with First Blood. Sam and Dean only hug during highly charged emotional moments, I don't see that as one mostly because Dean knew Sam was okay. Sam wasn't injured or missing. He was about 3 doors down from Dean. When they met, again not really the best circumstances. When your trying to escape from a secure facility, and you have a limited window. You hightail it out of there. You don't stop to hug. I'm very glad we didn't see any of the arguing over who was going to sacrifice themselves. I didn't need to see it because I think it was obvious that Dean went into that plan thinking it was going to be him. If there was a conversation i feel like it would have gone with Dean talking about how worthless he is, and Sam saying he's even more worthless. No thanks. As for less brother banter, with Jared and Jensen only working part time these days, maybe the writers are trying to maximize the time they have with them. One day of shooting equals five minutes of screen time, so while a 2 minute exchange may not seem like much, that would be almost half of one of Jensen and Jared's shooting days.
  8. I think they did with the nephlim. What exactly are they going to do with him? Send him into the unknown never to be heard from again or have him grow up over hiatus and look exactly like Mark P. Since these writers aren't exactly creative it would either be a rehash of the Amara storyline, or a re-telling of s5. IMO, the best thing they could do with that storyline is just make it disappear.
  9. Maybe Becky kidnapped Sam and Dean and is forcing them to act out her fan fiction.
  10. I'm not normally a fan of the whole "it's a dream," but IMO, this season has been so poor both character wise and story wise I would prefer it b wiped out.
  11. I wondered that too. (Jared did say that he was surprised they went there), but if its Sam's fever dream, even if it wasn't the writers intention its going to show that Sam doesn't think very highly of Dean's skills since his hallucinating of Dean shows him either not showing up and being incompetent when he is there. I like @catrox14 theory best that Dean is still in isolation and we are seeing some of his worst nightmares. IMO, things fit Dean better. His mom rejecting him, his brother not needing him, losing Cas (if Cas does end up dying).
  12. I remember that interview. No one in the writers room thought it was a good idea. They should have listened.
  13. This is what I've been wondering. Show does love its parallels, and I can see them mirroring s7 where Cas, Sam and Mary end up left behind in the mystery land while Dean get out and he's all alone. After Cas says "you" we see a shot of Sam and Dean. I thought that was their reaction to seeing Bobby whoever the mystery man is
  14. It could be Mary punching Dean or breaking his leg and him not fighting back.
  15. We know from that little script snipped that Dean talks to Mary about the deal and how she lied about keep them safe. I'm not really seeing how that would work to bring Mary out of her brainwashing because I would think he would want to remind her of happier times. Or it could be that Dean cries because he fails to reach Mary, the way this season is going, I can see that happening easily.
  16. Since @SueB (Thank you for taking the time to break down the scenes.) mentioned the belly. I can't unsee it. I'm 99% sure the mystery figure is Bobby. The Belly, and body type match perfectly. I'm guessing after Cas recognizes him, we will hear the familiar, idjits.
  17. This is what I'm thinking too. I'm thinking Mary shows up at Jody's with the intent to kill her and Jody gets the better of her. I'm guessing she goes to the bunker with Mary to talk to Sam and Dean. She may even save Sam and Dean by letting them out from the outside, kind of like Sam and Dean freed Kevin when the showed back up. Then while there Sam will come up with the plan. He will lead Jody and other hunters on a raid and Dean will stay behind and try to free Mary. Jensen said there was a lot put into ep 22 and he hopes they dont' have to cut too much. Makes me wonder if he might be worried that what little he might get to do might be cut.
  18. Thanks for checking. I just think its odd that it comes up now, after so long.
  19. I hope the name Walt is just a coincidence because I think too much time as has passed since season 5, and so much has gone on that it feels like Roy and Walt should just be water under the bridge, by now. So many people have tried to kill Sam and Dean since then, Roy and Walt barely register anymore.
  20. I wish you were writing for the show. This would be cool. My biggest worry is that the procedure unleashes some memory that Dean long buried that showed us that Mary did take precautions and little Dean got scared and went looking for mom or dad and in doing so disturbed some salt line or devil's trap.
  21. Yes, to all of this. If it is Bobby I can see him siding with Mary and chastising Dean for putting to much pressure on Mary to make him cookies and tuck him in. As for the fight, I also believe it will also be Mary/Ketch. I'm thinking when Dean is under whatever spell, he can't react to the things around him. Ketch probably shows up, gets in a few punches for calling him a dick and insulting his motor cycle, maybe even breaks his leg. Then Mary will save him as the show's way of redeeming her. I wouldn't be surprised if we get Dean thanking Mary for looking out for him. It's disappointing that Dean talking about the deal seems to be more about saving Mary than just an honest conversation between him and a Mary. I find on this show what you see is what you get. So if Dean isn't in the actions scenes during the promos, there is a good chance he isn't there, (although, I'd love to be wrong about that) or he shows up after everything is said and done. Although if the episode ends with Bobby taking Little Lucifer off to the empty to raise him and we never see or hear of either character again, that would be good. If that is the empty, it looks like Purgatory for humans.
  22. When Jim B. first took to twitter and tweeted how he was worried this would be the first season he wasn't on Supernatural. Shortly after Jim Michaels tweeted that they were writing something for him and then the tweet mysteriously disappeared. The reason I think its Mary in the physical confrontation with Ketch is because, Ketch looks surprised. Like he couldn't believe that Mary would turn on him. He wouldn't look like that if Dean was attacking him. I wonder if Dean's leg gets broken by Ketch and that is what finally brings Mary around. Dean's face where he is all cut up reminded me instantly of Dean during Thinman. The eyes seem like they have no life in them,
  23. Sue B could be right that its Bobby. Jim B has a pot belly. If that is The Empty its very possible Bobby was sent there after the events of Inside Man. I don't think its Dean due to the lack of the bow legs. There is a picture of a person about .43 seconds in (im not good at screen capping). At first I thought it was Lucifer but its possible its the mystery guy. I'm hopping its not Bobby, because I think he's stories done. They struggled with what to do with Mary, Cas, Crowley and Dean this year and adding another character to the mix is not going to do them any favors
