  1. IMO Aviva and George claim is so ridiculous and laughable that she refuses to give it any more coverage. Alex McCord has talked about possible lawsuits but I doubt it will ever happened.
  2. I agree. She is giving me major Lisa V vibes, the way she acts is completely different to what she writes, her action do not match her words and IMO that only translates as an attempt to pander to viewers. When I see Carole slapping that pervert in the face after one of his horrid comments then I will believe she is actually offended
  3. I don't hate Jason, I am happily married to a wonderful guy and consider myself lucky in that regard. I still don't like Jason. So please do not generalize with your profile. I just don't like Jason, period. I do not wonder why you don't like Bethenny as that is your prerrogative and it is mine to not like him. I also used to work doing secretarial work in a family law office so I happen to know about custody cases and what not so I knew since the beginning that this case was more of a media hype than what was really happening which is very standard. I was able to see through his agenda since early on and the more I saw the more I didn't like. I saw through his passive aggresive antics as clear as the day is long , the first time a red flag rose for me was even before they were married. Bethenny said she didn't want to get married until after the baby was born and Jason insisted on getting married before the baby came. Bethenny agreed and told him she wanted a very small wedding with only family and friends maybe 25 tops. Jason wasn't having it , he said he needed to invite to all his frat boys and altogether the count came to 75, which is fine. The problem for me was went he left everything up to her, if you want to have a big party then pull your weight, Jason couldn't be bothered, he sat back let her do everything and when she dared to complain because he wasn't participating he looked at her in surprise, almost as if he expected that he didn't need to be bothered with anything. That is the first time when I thought this was not going to work, Jason was too happy sitting in the sidelines and letting others pull the weight, no initiative, no wonder he never excelled in his sales business. Bethenny was asking for his help in several occasions and all he bothered to do was to get the marriage license. Bethenny was pregnant, working on her book and also on her business ventures, in the meantime Jason has his regular job and could have helped much more but chose not to. Yest he had time to watch games and go regularly on golfing trips with his buddies. Jason is IMO the classic passive agressive guy who is charming and comes across as very likeable to all but who does very underhanded crap behind close doors because that is how he manifests his anger. One thing is for sure if I wasn't sure before when Bethenny said time and time again that there was a different Jason who was not perfect behind closed doors, his behavior during the divorce has left me no doubt that in fact Jason was only playing up a character on TV.
  4. I guess each circumstance is different, I don't watch that channel but I do know that with custody arraignment or not when you move your child out of the state you must have the permission of the other parent or the court, otherwise it is called kidnapping. If the physical and legal custody hasn't been determined by the judge and you move the child to another state that hurts your chances of getting primary custody of your child. If the custody has been settled, then you must obtain a court order or the other parent express and written consent. I do have a friend who had to move from NY to NC for a better paying job and her ex agreed to it because her income will lower considerably his child support payment. The child spend the 9 months of school with her and the whole summer vacation with his father and they made it work. The article has interesting information about this topic http://www.legal-aid.org/en/las/kyr/custodyandvisitation.aspx What if I have an order of custody, and I want to move to another state? "Unless the child’s other parent has agreed to the move, a parent who seeks to relocate must first seek permission from the court, especially if the other parent has rights of visitation. This is true even if the parent seeking to move already has sole custody. Visitation is considered an important mutual right of both the child and the non-custodial parent, and the court must first determine whether such a move is in the child’s best interests before permitting a change that has the potential to affect the quality of the relationship between a child and the child’s non-custodial parent."
  5. That is definitely not a rumor, you can find it in multiple online articles. What has never been confirmed is the exact amount but several online articles also have the amount at 5M There is also one of the first episodes of the last season where Bethenny and Jason were directly talking about the modification and Bethenny telling Jason that she did it because of his constant complains about feeling unprotected and to make him happy yet he still was not happy, the paraphrased quote from Bethenny IIRC was that if they got divorced Jason would definitely be taken care of financially and would not be unprotected. The modification has been referred also by gossip rags constantly when they have speculated as to how much Jason will receive.
  6. That is how I see it as well. I'd Jason started this relationship with the plan of squeezing millions out of her? I am not sure if his plan was conceived since the get go or if it shaped all along, one thing that I always found suspicious is how much Jason changed after Bethenny closed the deal with Beam, he was no longer the supportive guy, he was plain confrontational and at times plain rude and verbally abusive towards her. IMO Jason has this constant need, sometimes pathological need to be seem as the perfect guy, he is used to be the hero, the small town boy who did great by marrying a reality star, he enjoyed the accolades, trips, staff and golfing trips that Bethenny job provided, but there were few instances in where Jason showed his frustration, and manipulate his way into a lot of money for him, the modification of the prenup is one instance, the other that comes to mind is when he played this game of "I want to work for skinny girl but I don't want to be your employee" even after Bethenny explained to him that he would be her CEO but she still would be the top boss and he refused to work for her. I saw the manipulation right away, Bethenny was so desperate for this fool to be happy and back to being the guy that she fell for that I was thinking she was going to fall for it and give him stockholder rights and make him a partner which is ultimately what I believe he wanted. Jason knows that her image is important, not only for her but for any business person and that is where I think he has made his mistake, yes, he is very smart and at the end of the day he will come out of this marriage with several millions that he would have never been able to earn as a sale pharm , but I also think that if he would have graciously accepted the money that he weasel himself from Bethenny via the modification of the prenup, all would have been different. He has acted as if Bethenny blindsided him with the divorce petition, but his own friends of Radar had him moved out of the apartment in three different times during 2012 before the announcement of the separation and Jason refused to do therapy,so where to go from there? Even a blind person knew this was heading towards divorce, then he acted as if Bethenny asking for primary custody was an attempt to ban him from Bryn's life when he knew darn well that they could share time even if Bethenny was named primary custodial. I don't know many mothers who in the event of deciding who should be the primary caregiver would raise their hand and choose the other parent. Jason played this to the max by wearing his ring as the poor sap who is still in love with his wife and trying to make it work while in the meantime he is recruiting family and friends to help him make her life miserable in the apartment so she has to move. I am not sure when Jason saw this as the opportunity of a lifetime to bank the rest of his life, whether it was at the beginning of the relationship or after the sale of Beam, the only thing that is glaringly evident by him going after her money is that the mighty dollar is now his bottom line, he wants millions in form of a settlement and the apartment to top it all. For merely two years of marriage. When women do it, they are called gold diggers, so if Jason is doing it and can get away with it, kudos to him, but just as I don't have any problem in calling the women who do it gold diggers, I have no problem with calling Jason exactly that.
  7. That is the point , Bethenny has never requested for sole physical custody as in trying to get rid of Jason. She has always know that they will have to share Bryn's time. Bethenny requested primary custody which in the state of NY is almost the norm, that one of the parents has to be named primary custodian even if for all purposes they share the child almost half and half. Judges name one of them primary for tax purposes and/or legal residence but the time can be shared and that is why I was always convinced that they will end up sharing. Sole legal custody was requested by Bethenny and Jason, as both are aware that the communicatuion lines were broken and that there would be no way to get pass their differences. Besides most of the time who ultimately is named primary custodial also gets sole legal custody which is just a final say when they are trapped in a disagreement. Jason changed only that portion of his petition (IMO to make it look like he was willing to share while Bethenny was not) fully knowing that if all came down to the judge, probably the parent named as primary custodial parent would also get sole legal custody, but as far as the physical custody much like Betheny he was requesting to be named primary guardian. According to articles Bethenny has already made a generous offer to him but he has set up his bar at 10M. Jason has signed a prenup that protects any past, present and future earnings of any profit made by the sale of the cocktail line, that is where most of Bethenny's money come from. Her other business ventures: books, nutritional bars, TV gigs, water, apparel, etc while probably mildly succesful are nowhere close to generate millions upon millions for Bethenny. New York is not a community property state like CA where the couple (without a prenup) has to split everything in half, NY is an equitable distribution state where property is not necessarily split in half but there are a lot of considerations, one of them being the lenght of the marriage and what each person brought to the marriage. That is why I believe that Jason and his lawyers are very aware that with a prenup protecting the money from the sale and Jason only being able to claim part of Bethenny's other business deals that there will not be a huge amount of money coming his way (probably way less than 5M) so his only real chance of getting the amount he thinks he deserves is to force Bethenny to settle for a much larger amount. This is IMO why this case has been played largely on the press, Jason knows that if the judge has to decided, he won't get as much as if he weasels his way into a settlement. Jason hiring a financial forensic expert to trace every penny that Bethenny has made was probably setting the stage early on to force a settlement. He knows that Bethenny can't reveal the amount of the sale, he knows that she is contractually obligated not to speak about this, he knows he is not entitled to any money from the sale but just much like the custody case, the press keeps repeating that Bethenny is woth 120M so by default ir makes her look petty because she doesn't want to pay Jason a measly 10M that he deserves , because (this is actually laughable) he is the one who help her with the sale and so he should get half of her money for that. Jason had nothing to do with the sale at all.
  8. Maybe because it is more dramatic to believe it was glass than plastic. IMO it doesn't matter, the fact is that Ramona did something that she shouldn't have done period. IMO Cody's strong reaction is only because she wants the limelights on her, she has to know that everyone is thinking about her as a golddigger but maybe she is doing this just for the exposure and what better exposure than to pick up a fight with a cast member. OMG, what is Cody actually does marry George just so that next year she can be one of the RHNY? could it be?
  9. That is a very tricky question. I followed the sale because I found fascinating how she used her platform to acumulate such fortune. The initial reports have the sale at 100M, so probably that is the reason why everybody thinks she has 100M in her bank account so the 10M that Jason is requesting doesn't sound like too much. The sale is sealed so nobody knows for sure, but when Rob Shuter published an article about the sale being only 8M (which the HuffPost had to apologized for) Forbes stood by their original estimate that the sale had the potential to be around 100M. http://www.forbes.com/sites/meghancasserly/2011/10/13/bethenny-frankels-skinnygirl-deal-the-numbers-still-hold-up/ So according to this article there was a one time payment of 39M upfront and then a later payment of 25M as a bonus per performance sale , that is what is documented, so far 64M , the rest is to be paid over a 7 year period but is based on sale numbers, Bethenny might get those bonuses or she might not. Forbes predicted that if Bethenny hit every benchmark then the whole sale had the potential to be worth from 100M to 120M. Bethenny decided to take the scaled payment and took the risk with the bonuses but her partner and main investor David Kanbar decided to take his half and move on to other ventures. After all he has no emotional connection to SGC. As usual the press ran with it and immediately promoted the sale as a 100-120M but so far only 64M of that is real and documented, minus taxes, payments to negotiators, payments to lawyers, etc. I would venture to say that Bethenny and Kanbar both received 20 - 25M each. That IMO is a much more realistic number than the 100M that the press has paraded around. Bethenny has said herself that she is not as wealthy as people think she is. That is why I find incredibly greedy of Jason to request 10M for a settlement, he is entitled to some money for his two years invested but to request 10 out of 25M is laughable if you ask me. He signed a prenup but in reality what he is doing is trying to get half of Bethenny's patrimony.
  10. The sharing doesn't surprise me at all , after all primary custody in the state of NY is basically that, sharing with one of them having a tiny bit more time than the other. I would just like to know wh owas named primary custodial parent at the end. Maybe Jason just didn't want to go there, Bethenny still had another round of testimony to give and I am sure that some of her claims can be proven, staff can be questioned about Jason's antics, the shelter where Cookie was left probably has a receipt and Jason was not interested in any of this airing at all. After all he has worked the press masterfully to create the notion that he wants to share custody so there is a perception of winning. I want to know who was named primary custodial parent after all.
  11. Absolutely!! Jason is trying to portray himself as the poor guy who was forced to do a reality show even thoygh he didn't want to. LOL Jason stared onn RHNY season 3, BGM, BEA 1 and BEA2 , these are four seasons of a reality show. He is as much of a famewhore as he accuses Bethenny to be. His only objections to filming happened when the divorce was filed, he even filmed some shows of the Bethenny show where he paraded Bryn with no problem but as soon as the divorce was filed then he refused to let Bryn to be filmed at all. He is a joke IMO and so as many have made a sport of bashing Bethenny as if she was the only responsible for this marriage to fell apart I just happen to think that what is good for the goose is good for the gander.
  12. AnnaL, very touched to read your story, I see Jason as the manipulative, conniving, ruthless person all under the disguide of a charming guy. IMO he had a plan in mind since he saw Bethenny, he has said myself that he had seen in in RHNY, the way he approached her at that bar, he knew about her insecurities, he knew she was an OCD, high strung person but he also knew that she was longing for love and he played the part of the wonderful boyfriend. His reluctance to sign a prenup should have been the first huge read flag for Bethenny but I am convinced that Bethenny believed the hype of the fairy tale herself and stopped paying attention to a lot of things. Jason was a pharm rep and IMO he knew very well who David Kanbar was, Bethenny had just stroke a partnership with him before they ever met and Jason knew she was going places, I am not saying he married her for her money but I think that Jason was smart enough to see the potential and now is not willing to go away without giving a good fight to get all the money he thinks he deserves. Jason had nothing to do with the conception, the creation, the production or the sale of SGC, absolutely nothing, the conception and the creation were from Bethenny alone, once she wanted to take the cocktail to the next level she partnered up with a well known figure in the alcohol industry David Kanbar, he is the one who invested his time, money and connections to ensure that SGC would be attractive enough for a potential big buyer, this partnership was consolidated before Bethenny and Jason ever met. Jason nothing to do with this, this is all about Bethenny giving the product the exposure and David Kanbar handling the production and lending his name and his cache to make the product viable at mass scale and ready to sell. I am convinced that Jason "helping" Bethenny to figure out the problem in the shortage of distribution was a fabricated story line to showcase the bottling plant in Canada, there is absolutely nothing that Jason could have figured out that Kanbar wasn't able to figure out on his own, IMO it was done 1) To promote the product, 2)showcase the bottling plant in Canada, 3) bust up Jason's wounded ego and make him feel good. There was a link with all the team of negotiators from all parts for this deal, Beam, Kanbar and Bethenny's teams, all of this with high profile negotiators , Jason's name was nowhere in that team, he had nothing to do with that sale and he know it that is why he had to sign the prenup. Now he wants to have a share of the pie but the bottom line is that Bethenny and her cocktails were going to happen with or without Jason.
  13. I haven't seen the first season of this show so I am not really privy to all these girls shenanigans, I am liking it so far. Regarding the wedding mania, am I the only one who just can't figure out John Cena? he creeps me out, he is always so calm and collected and in this situation I sort of expected much more of a reaction that what he showed, is he always like this? He gives me weird vibes
  14. Culd you please help me figure out how to do that? I looked for my favorites shows (housewives from all franchises) but I am still not able to figure out how to save it inot my shows some tips please?
  15. The custody proceedings were not sealed and that is how we are now privy to some of it but the financial settlement is not over, it won't be over for a good while. Jason hired last year a financial forensic expert to trace every single penny made by Bethenny and that can take a long while. Yes, Jason signed a prenup and according to the articles online he has already been offered a settlement of millions of dollars that he has declined. IMO he is the one who before this public proceedings has been leaking a lot of stuff to the press and his intention is no other than to twist Bethenny's arm into settling with him. If Bethenny's prenup is so iron clad as they say, where Jason can't touch any of the past, present or future earnings of anything related to the cocktail line which is the big cash cow, then he might be entitled to a settlement but nowhere as much as he thinks he deserves. IMO this custody case with his daughter is also another attemp from him to force Bethenny to settle, he knows that her image has suffered a great deal since the separation and was probably hoping that she would be willing to protect it by just giving him money to go away, and by money I mean a lot of it. I am glad that Bethenny is not taking this kind of blackmail lying down and is willing to give a fight, if I was Bethenny I would not settle with him, not after all the antics he has pulled during this divorce.
  16. Even in the event that Bravo forced her to go which I doubt (there is clearly a huge difference between reality and Kelli's perception of reality, but surely nobody forced her to act like a loon, that was all on Kelli and a gift to Bravo from her. Aviva can miss every single trip and I wouldn't miss her.
  17. Can we introduce Aviva's dad to kandi's mom. They are meant to be together
  18. It finally happened, my beloved twop forums are gone :( I hope most posters come here because the snark is what makes these shows half enjoyable. George is a horrible person, a despicable pervert but he has lots of money and he obviously has found a gold digger who is willing to take him to task. IMO is all staged, there is no way that George is going to marry that girl and there is no way that anybody with all a brain will have anything to do with such a misogynist asshole.
  19. Just testing the waters, just registered with the same name from TWOP
