  1. My sentiments on Bryan are the same as you all. Disgusting. As for the dinner debacle, that is all on Hannah. From my understanding Ben said he was doing the kebabs as the starter, then two courses(the shrimp and dessert). Hannah complained that the kebabs weren't delicate enough and suggested a canape instead. Ben scrapped the kebabs and made the salmon canapes. So the understanding was always that there were two courses left after the salmon. Hannah delivered the entree(main course) sized shrimp and called it a starter. Obviously the guests would assume that there is an entree/main course coming up next, hence the reason they didn't eat much of the shrimp and even commented on the portion size being large for a starter. Hannah could have rectified the whole thing and no one would have been the wiser by calling down to Ben to fire the kebabs as the entree. She looked so stupid lying to Ben about what she said to the guests and she looked even more incompetent asking the guest if they wanted an entree or to go straight to dessert. They had already told her they expected an entree!
  2. I feel like there has to be more details to this case that weren't presented in the episode. I would never have been able to convict him with the evidence presented to us as viewers. Three huge things stood out for me. 1. The temperature of the bodies would 100% be different given the locations of the bodies, the wife was in the fully insulated and heated main house while the son was in a garage that would have been much colder given that one "wall" was a metal garage door. Plus it was December, remember the Christmas tree? Why did the medical examiner not take body temps when he/she arrived on the scene? Is that not SOP? 2. To me there is no way the angle of the gunshot on the son would have been what it was had he been shot by someone else and I don't believer the son would have stayed sitting on his bed with a rifle pointed at his face. Nor would the mom have still been in bed after hearing her son be shot. Rifles are loud and you'd be up and awake and out of bed the moment that gun went off. Also, I wasn't convinced by the distance the gun was supposedly fired from his face. Where are the gunshot experts? Was there gun shot residue on the husband? On the son? This seems like really shoddy investigative work. Edit: Found these statements regarding the above. "There was no gun residue (GSR) found on Jason Payne’s hands or anywhere else on his body. There was GSR found on Taylor Wages’ on the back of his right hand." and "The bodies of victims Nichole Payne and Taylor Wages were removed from the crime scene without the medical examiner being called to the house to examine the bodies." 3. The story was that there was an argument and the dad took the two youngest to school, or maybe just the son because he had the little girl with him when he found the bodies. So he either shot them while both children were there or when just the little girl was there? Why did no one ask the children? They both looked old enough to state whether or not the story happened the way he said it did or if they heard a gun shot.
  3. Haha I know the guy in the dead center and the guy behind him!
  4. There is absolutely no way they moved out because of traffic. She worked at a bank in Sandy Springs and got her new job at a branch in Dunwoody. For those of you who aren't familiar with the area...those two cities are literally right next to each other. I can drive from my house in Sandy Springs and be in Dunwoody in less than two minutes. Also, they complained that the house was "old" that's what you get in that area! It's an older neighborhood where building really skyrocketed in the 60's and 70's. I also guarantee that her townhouse is older(albeit renovated) and in the same area...probably 5 minutes from their "old" house. Which further cements my opinion that they never even lived in the house at all. While I'm on the topic of them complaining about location...Tres and Vanessa's argument about Midtown vs. Buckhead bothered me as well. There was no way that his commute would have been that drastically different if he moved to Midtown.
  5. Okay first of all....why did Bob say they only needed three votes to vote out Hope? There were 8 people so three is not majority. They didn't even show the last two votes and they just as easily could have been votes for the one twin. WTF? Second, the food truck was the most stupid thing ever! Why not use the loss as a tool for the contestants(and people at home) to learn how to make healthy decisions when they have no other option but to eat on the run? Teach them that even though it's a taco truck, you can ask for a salad...a lettuce taco like that chef made, hell you could just get the tacos and throw the shell away. How is this teaching anyone anything?! This show is pissing me off because all they care about is the entertainment value. If they wanted to actually help people they wouldn't have these lame food challenges that MAKE them eat bad foods. I'd be much more impressed if the voted off people had the option to continue training off sight, sort of like the second chance thing last year, but are made aware that they still won't win anything. They can keep it all off camera and give them a makeover just like everyone else and really WOW us at the finale. This format just make s it so that they are way more focused on winning than actually losing the weight and getting healthy. Also, bring back Allison! I hate Bob as the host.
  6. Okay a few things bothered me this episode. I'll just make a list. Rocky sticking her thumb in her mouth while cooking? DIS-GUST-ING. Also who in their right mind would put a quesadilla in a microwave? I'm hoping maybe I missed it and she was heating up just a component of the quesadilla or something. Also she said she used burrata and swiss cheeses? Just an observation but the one they showed a close up of looked like feta or crumbled goat cheese. What kind of chef doesn't just keep some cheddar or monterrey jack on board? It keeps for a long time and people obviously love their quesadillas! I was hoping Kate would stay above it all and not stoop down to Leon's level but I'll give her a pass to make passive aggressive remarks because it's Leon and I don't like him one bit. Beef cheeks again?! It showed the reason the fire started. Rocky was baking some potatoes in the oven and the juices spilled all over the bottom of the oven. She obviously never cleaned that up and that's what caught on fire. Eddie needs to stop with Rocky and he's being a hypocrite telling his crew to stay out of the interior drama. The editing was wonky in this one and totally obvious. The scene with the captain and Eddie sitting at the table was edited to look like it happened twice on two different days. Look at the yogurt container same exact one sitting on it's side on the table yet it's two separate days and they're listening to two separate arguments between Kate and Leon. I have more but I'll keep it to those points for right now. Haha.
  7. This is how I want Graceland to be! All of them working as a cohesive team and not like five separate story lines that I have to keep up with.
  8. Did anyone else notice that Meghan's Starbucks cup had "Katie" written on it? It's all I could focus on during that whole moving scene.
  9. I'm a little disappointed that they got rid of the time lapse oven shots. :( I always liked seeing the food being cooked. The food didn't look bad but the pork needed a lot more salt than what they showed. She only put a pinch in the wet rub and that was it for the whole pork loin. Hopefully the recipe on FN included salting the pork loin more. I also don't, and haven't ever, understood using sparkling wine for cooking. It won't stay bubbly, so why not just use plain white wine?
  10. Last night was kind of annoying. How many times are Daddy and Walt going to comment on Hot Dog's looks/ass or how much they want to bang her? And how many times do we have to hear about how badly Daddy wants to bang Tiffany, after he's three sheets to the wind? It was an hour of just that! I told ya'll I saw a fox!
  11. I liked Skylar, Madison needs to ditch Tony and get back with him. Did I hear right and someone said that Tony stole ANOTHER bottle? So this isn't a first time thing? Also lol at him claiming it was a $20 bottle of wine. First of all, there's no way it was only $20, and second of all I'm dying at the fact that he knew his card would be declined over what he thought was a $20 bottle of wine. Nicole should be ashamed of herself for making out with that guy so he'd pay. Does she understand that that makes her look like a prostitute? Not a good look! And she thought it was funny. It's sad to me. Bruno is a dick and Carla should run and run very fast in the opposite direction.
  12. Did anyone see the fox walk by in the yard when Daddy and Murray were talking on the porch?
  13. I'm really confused as to why Nicole had to go back to be an EMT. How long did she have to go for? Was it so that she didn't lose her job? They don't normally let the cast just go home whenever they feel like it so it seems random.
  14. Who can't cut up a chicken breast themselves?! She had her butcher do that for her? So stupid. The sing-song voice was way too much and super annoying.
  15. I have yet to watch this episode but as soon as I saw the International House of Prayer = cult in the episode description I was shocked. My former pastor, and my best friend's dad, left our church to go preach for them in Kansas City....I've even been to the Onething conference they put on every year.
  16. Right but what are the odds that the five or so pieces that Leroy/Nia had left to put on their boards were the same exact pieces that Jay/Jenna had in their bag? There're weren't extra pieces or anything so they would have had to be exactly the same except for the one black piece that Sarah/Jordan needed.
  17. I'm really confused by the bag swap. On the way back up the hill Leroy/Nia have Jay/Jenna's bag, they figure it out when Sarah/Jordan's piece isn't in the bag they have. If they had all of Jay/Jenna's pieces how the hell did they complete their puzzle? It should have had totally different pieces in it. Yet they didn't show then switching it back out or anything, they just used the pieces they had and completed their puzzle.
  18. Did anyone else notice that the recipe on the back of the boxed cake mix was for whoopie pies? My husband actually caught that one. The vanilla line is getting really tiring. I guess it's good that she only said the entire "gourmet sweetness" line only once, even though she used vanilla in everything. I understand that Jade is only a child and they were making stuff for family but the licking of the fingers was absolutely disgusting. If you're completely done making the food, go for it, but to lick your fingers and then go right on handling the rest of the food is gross. I also wondered if the dipping chocolate for the doughnuts was vegan too. She didn't mention it and I felt like it would make the whole vegan doughnuts thing pretty pointless. I feel like I keep complaining, but one last thing that irritates me about Giada is her ability to leave tons of food in the bowls and not use a spatula to get it all out. She probably left a half a cup of red velvet batter in the bowl when she stuck it in the sink! For a restaurant owner I'd expect her to practice the art of not wasting food. Maybe she could have given us a little aside about making a trifle with the leftover red velvet cake pieces...instead I'm sure she just tossed them in the trash.
  19. I think I'm a few episodes behind but in the episode where she was filming the football game, why on Earth was she yelling while filming? Does she think Ladd and the other coaches want to hear her shouting the whole time they review the tapes? Also what's wrong with getting a tripod and pushing record? Who wants to hold a camera for hours? The Frappachino knock offs were way to liquidy. Why not actually do something creative and freeze coffee cubes instead of plain old ice? I too did not understand using the sparkling grapejuice or champagne and then letting it sit. It will be flat the next day and not have any "sparkle" left. I also feel like she cut the oranges the way she did because she doesn't know how to segment an orange.
  20. Okay a few comments... Why in the world did they even have the Pandora segments?! She was "managing" Pump and couldn't go to Miami because everyone else went? NONE OF THEM EVEN WORK AT PUMP! Not one! SUR obviously still had Peter managing it so where was the missing Pump manager and staff? This makes no sense and was utterly a waste of time. Can I also add that I hate the chef at Pump just because I hated her on The Next Food Network Star. The gist I get from the Jax/Tom S. conversation at the bar was that this whole situation was made up by Tom S. because Jax was going around telling all of the Toms' secrets and he wanted him to "have a taste of his own medicine" and realize that what he was doing was against "bro code". Am I getting that right? Stassi is pointless. Scheana should never wear that purple lipstick ever again.
  21. Can someone clear up the timeline for me? Didn't Juliette say that she could hide her bump because she would be filming for X amount of weeks and then touring X amount of weeks? Or maybe it was touring first and then filming? So why is she filming next week, i.e not on tour, yet Zoey is leaving to go on tour with her right after her going away party?
  22. Maybe it's just me but I am constantly annoyed by her use of a cleaver to chop literally everything! That is not the right knife to use!
