  1. I hear you. If I knew Sheldon IRL I would hate him. I would never tolerate his behavior, we wouldn't be friends, and I would never let him get away with the things he did. But since it is TV, I allow myself to push that to the side and like things or not be bothered by things I would in real life. Seinfeld was about a group of unlikable people but it still makes me laugh.
  2. I agree 100%. This is why Sheldon is my favorite. For the most part his mistakes are never malicious (excluding him getting "revenge"). He felt really bad about it too.
  3. I am not a fan of the Leonard/Penny relationship so I definitely can see them going the way of Amy's parents. Actually, I am not a huge fan of Leonard in general. Some of the reasons they mentioned in the episode. But in no way is Leonard "sweet". The things he has done to his friends, Penny, and past girlfriends knock him out of that category.
  4. Thanks for this. I am still feeling off about this episode (besides the confusion) and I think this is why. I can't decide how I feel about Teddy's end. He was a favorite of mine and I know I should feel happy but I feel sad, like he died. Part of it is that Dolores made another choice FOR him and the choice was "you are only made for a fantasy world and not the real world". No matter if that is true or not I feel insulted for him. I don't feel that way about the others in the Valley because THEY made the choice to go. Plus with his core drive being Dolores, will being without her mess with him. On a selfish note, we probably won't see those in the Valley again and I will miss him.
  5. I wish I was that quick and witty.
  6. The Wu Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) . It was brilliant.
  7. Like everyone else I want this show to continue. For me, all the characters are so likable. (Which is rare fro me since I tend to dislike or only tolerate at least one of the "good guys" in all the shows I watch). I even like Patricia, though I do think she shines when she is interacting with Dalton. Their dynamic just seems right. Oh no! I think I'm shipping them. The returned necklace and hand holding at the end. I think I'm doomed again. Sigh.
  8. Thank you episode. Two of my pet peeves were addressed. 1) That Howard is some kind of victim when Sheldon rags on him. They all rag on each other and Howard gives as good as he gets. 2) If you have an issue with something say something. I am a Sheldon fan but it really annoys me when the others just roll over for him. While Sheldon is responsible for his actions they helped to create a monster.
  9. Thank you for not being "more of the same" and not lying in the Dragonpit. All of the game playing has brought Westeros to the point where the leaders cannot come together to actually save their own lives. As we saw Cersei had already betrayed them so all his lie would have done was weaken his position with his allies.
  10. Agreed. We know Jon can and has lied when he needs to (see Season 3). So it wasn't that he couldn't lie he made a choice not to lie. As he said to Sam before the Lord Commander vote about Stannis' offer - why would people follow him if he can't keep his oaths. It was on Cersei to think of the people of Westeros and the threat coming for them all. Of course, we later find out that it would not have mattered what Jon said because she had already planned with Euron to betray them. So he would have lied for nothing anyway.
  11. I don't. I am very happy with Jon's honor and not "being more of the same." But I am not always as strong as Jon like Theon I struggle. So when he is called stupid for being a better person, I get seduced by ideas of him playing the game. But as I also stated that would not be good. It is only a fleeting thought which reinforces that Jon IS doing the right thing.
  12. Being a Jon fan and having no problem with his honor, a small part of me would be so proud if he slept with Dany as a manipulation. That whole scene can be viewed through a lense of he and Tyrion working together. This is why he hesitates and braces himself to see her. Tyrion is looking sad about his betrayal. This could be the bittersweet ending. Jon wins but loses what makes him special - his goodness and honor. He just like every other horrible person playing this stupid game. I dont think that is the case though.
  13. I'm confused about Bran making it a point to call Jon a Sand. I know it is the bastard name in Dorne. But everyone knew Jon was not born in the North. Were they ok with Snow because they didn't know where in the South he was born? Or the writers just needed a lead in for the true Targ reveal?
  14. I love smart Sam. Bran briefly explains what the three-eyed raven is and Sam is able to use Bran's ability on the first try. This is why you need Sam around.
  15. OMG! Tormund and Beric! I hope they are alive somehow. I know they showed them off to the side but damn. Is that supposed to be realtime? Could that be the future? I am not a fan of Sansa but I liked how this was done. It was clear that it wasn't until that last conversation that she realized all about Littlefinger. His game backfired because Sansa knows being a Lady of anything was never Ayra. It woke her up and she remembered Bran and his skills. Nice that it was clear they were all in on it at the end. Since Cersei already made the plans with Euron, it didn't matter if Jon lied or not so I'm with him telling the truth. I am also fine with everyone calling him on it. He defended himself well. It just showed how small a person Cersei is. The scene with Jon and Dany in the dragon pit was crackling. Poor Jorah at Painted Table. Did they just put Viserys' old wig on the actor for Rhaegar? Not good. What the hell Tyrion? Are you going to take Littlefinger's place as the creeper? If that is jealousy it is coming out of nowhere for me. Boatsex! Yum.
  16. So much good stuff. What redpencil said, the dislocated arm, the switchblade, Luther bye bye. Sad about Emma. I was still holding out that she was pulling a Gendry.
  17. OMG. I was thinking the same thing, at least about Jon. I know it's silly but I need to see the curls again. Boatsex seems the mostly time.
  18. I want a scene with Davos and Tyrion drinking and comforting each other because it is so hard to get Jon and Dany to follow their advice anymore. (It doesn't matter if I agree with the advice or not).
  19. It was Tyrion's plan. Jon doesn't offer to go until after Jorah says he will get the wight and Davos points out that the windings won't follow Jorah. I agree about Cersei which makes this an even bigger blunder by Tyrion. Everyone but Varys is relying on him to be the Cersei expert.
  20. I was talking about his plan to capture the wight.
  21. I cried for Viserion. Loved the traveling of the beyond the wall group. Some great exchanges. I like the talks between Tyrion and Dany. Good points on both sides. Tyrion needs to thank Dany for saving the mission. If she hadn't this would be at least the third time Tyrion's plans were a disaster this season. What was the point of sending the meeting Raven to Winterfell when they have Jon? Was it on the chance he was lost on the mission? The Winterfell stuff is a mess. The only way I will forgive this is if Littlefinger dies somehow. I just cannot get behind Sansa anymore (I will take it back if this has all been a ploy to get Littlefinger). I found myself disagreeing with what Arya was doing but still on Arya's side because Sansa was just so annoying. I can't believe she brought up the army she hid from her battle commander as a point on her side. No that just shows you are not trustworthy and handicapped the his options so you could get the glory. Wow! Why was there no time for Benjen to hop on the horse? Oh right this is season 7. Time is whipping by. Bye Benjen. When I found myself asking where the huge chains came from at the end at had to just shake my head and say "Whatever". I am rooting for Dany/Jon so their scene was great. Not sure how I feel about him "bending the knee" though. It helped that Tormund brought up Mance and how not bending didn't help his people. Though I never thought it was a pride thing for either one of them.
  22. I was ok with the fast pace until this episode. There were so many good pairings I wanted more time with each of them. Maybe there will be some good convo during the hunt. Jon/Jorah about their dads, Gendry/Jon/Hound about Arya, Hound/Tormund about Brienne, Gendry/Jon about Mel, Beric/Jon resurrection, etc. Jon and Drogon was awesome. And Jon is legitimate. Wow! The talk with Tyrion and Varys wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I still don't agree with them though. I can see Varys' issue with her burning people as just a really bad memory from his time with The Mad King. The burning was not that bad either. She gave them a choice and Lord Tarly rejected the Wall option. Dickon basically walked into the fire on his own. It's war. All will suck. As usual everything Davos is great. I love it when Jon is kingly and he had great moments tonight. Loved the scenes at Eastwatch. Great mix of characters. Can't wait for more of them next week. The Winterfell scenes didn't bother too much. Finally after so long Littlefinger is being his Littlefinger self. I definitely think he was somehow behind the unrest of the Lords. I am not crazy about the Sansa/Arya tension but it is more realistic then them holding hands and braiding each other's hair. I have no doubt though that they will come out on top.
