The only character I thought was more bad than good was Lee Garner Jr. He was predatory. Actually, I'll put Greg in that category, as well. Everything was all about Greg and his precious ego, he didn't care about anyone else. He even abandoned his only child when Joan told him she didn't need him. That's low.

I've been rewatching in quarantine, and I wanted to say that I don't think Jessica Paré is a bad actress, at all. I know that was the opinion of the majority when the show first aired, but I never shared it. I get who Megan is, and I think JP played her well. I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I wanted to say it, again. I always feel this need to stick up for Megan/JP. I know I can't be the only one. 😉

Chiming in late to this discussion (VERY late), but I would like to comment on the individual songs, even though I'm not well educated about country music... One of my favorite songs, of his. Actually, one of the first Conway Twitty songs I ever heard. I remember being surprised at how sexy it was. I never liked this one. I know a lot of people who love it, but I always thought it was hokey. One of the few Taylor Swift songs I can tolerate. They overplayed the shit out of it when it was released, though. LOATHE this song. Hate it, with a fiery passion. Great song. Love her. Well, this is a classic. Never heard the version with Vince Gill, though. Shouldn't this be much higher, on the list? Back when this album was released, I was a wannabe jaded high school kid who listened to classic rock, and thought country music was lame. This was the first country song I heard that made me realize that I did like the genre. So, it will always have a special place in my heart. I mean, I like this song- I do- but is it really country? I only heard it on the pop stations, when it came out. Whatever. Another good one. Makes me teary-eyed, every time. Go away, little girl. That's all, for now. I'll add more, later. I know my opinions aren't that interesting, but this is fun. 🙂

Bringing up the podcast again, but there is a 15 minute interview with Carole, where she goes into more detail about her past, and all the things she did before BCR. I still think she's weird, but after hearing about the abuse she's suffered, I can understand why she's weird, and standoffish. She's been through a lot.

If anyone wants more dirt on Joe, listen to the podcast on Spotify. David Spade's interviews are okay, but he kisses too much ass. The podcast is better, but keep in mind that they go into more detail about the animal abuse. It ain't pretty.

I thought she had a pretty good body after having three kids, but I have never thought she was super attractive. She's okay, but the stank personality just ruins it, and pushes her into "gross" territory. Does anyone think Cletus cheated on her back when they "broke up", because of the weight gain? He seems like the type who would cheat if his wife wasn't HAWT, anymore, no matter how Sasquatch-y he gets. Just a thought.

I think it was the very first episode, where Joe talked about breeding ligers, and how it's okay, because he's worked with "the top geneticists from New York and Washington D.C.". Right then, I knew he was full of shit. You think this would be evident to anyone watching, but I guess not. You know, this whole thing has made me want to see an actual documentary on the big cat trade, and all the animal cruelty, behind it. I'm getting as much entertainment from the sideshow as anyone, but the animals are the real losers, here. It's all very sad. ETA: I just read that Cardi B is a big fan of Joe, and even wants him out of prison. Does she have any idea how racist, he is? I wish they had included that, in the doc. Apparently, there is plenty of footage of Joe using the "n" word.

I read a comment on a different site where someone explained their like of Joe and their dislike of Carole by saying that Carole seems fake, while Joe seems honest about who he is. How anyone can watch the same doc I watched and think Joe is in any way honest is beyond me. Every word out of his mouth is a lie.

Well, I'm embarrassingly obsessed with this shit, so I will be watching. 😛
