  1. First thing I thought of when I heard them say it! Love that song...thanks for posting!
  2. My favorite line of the entire show!
  3. I thought the exact same things ari333, although I thought Claire might fall into and get trapped in the donation box. I was POSITIVE Gloria knew what Jay was doing and was messing with Cam and I was fairly sure the golfer was going to hit on Gloria and Mitchell would have to decide how to react. Oh well...wrong again!
  4. Phil: "Do you know what a human pyramid is without hours of training? Ten obituaries!" Cam: "I hate Anderson Cooper." Mitch "Our friends Anders and Cooper...."
  5. That's a riot! So much for keeping the time-frame real.
  6. As Adam was doing his sum-up at the end of the episode, there was a song playing in the background. My wife thought it was "some INXS song". Anyone else hear it? ETA - She was right...Beautiful Girl by INXS
  7. I'm shocked by what is shown during "family time"...ever watch Two Broke Girls?
  8. Did Dave drop the "F bomb"? We replayed it twice and it sure sounded like it.
  9. I guess I missed that exchange. In that case, I would agree that your assumption is probably right. I still don't think Dave did enough to plead his case...you can't just say, 'Dude, it's not what it looks like' without elaborating.
  10. Ben seemed to be slightly sympathetic toward Scott at the cemetery. Any chance they team-up to catch the killer or is Scott going to Leavenworth for being AWOL? ETA - the developmentally challenged boy - red herring or will he play a role somehow...perhaps a witness unable to speak and tell people what he saw?
  11. I have several friends with teenage daughters that I have known since birth. I am completely aware of how inappropriate it would be to "horseplay" with them like I did when they were younger. I think most guys would agree. I also agree that Dave did nothing too Natalie, but he did not do a good job pleading his case.
  12. Here is the appropriate way to act when your BEST FRIEND'S 16 year old drunken daughter stumbles over to your house and passes out: - "Dude, Natalie stumbled over to my place and is passed out in my bed...I'm crashing on YOUR couch." - "Thanks for the heads-up dogfish...we'll take care of her."
  13. I think the murder had to occur either late at night or early morning, or the parents of both the boy and the younger daughter would have noticed that they were not in bed. Did they sneak out to meet? Daughter knows Dad has a flashlight in his truck and borrows it. Some thing happens in the woods and she clocks him.
  14. Tyler has to factor in some way...I don't think he was brought up just to be a red herring.
  15. I bet she has already recovered the murder weapon (flashlight) and knows it is his. Now he will have to uncover who stole it from his tool box in order to prove his innocence.
  16. Could be because the actress playing her is 25. Surely they could have found someone younger to play the role of a 16 year old.
  17. I live in Atlanta and I must agree, it does not look like Christmas time. Although we do have a number of ever-green plants and trees, most everyone has a warm-season lawn that turns brown in the winter.
  18. Yeah...the Zach Galifanakis/Jack Black type character is getting pretty played-out. I believe he mentioned that he targets slightly less-attractive "fat chicks" that apparently are easier targets. He said something along the lines of, "Fat loves fat.". (His words;not mine...save the hate mail :) ).
  19. We were asking ourselves the same thing...how can you be drunk enough to have essentially had a black-out, but you can get up in the early morning (still dark) and go for a run? That would be brutal! WRT the phone...if I accidentally walk out of the house without my phone, I feel completely naked and out of touch. Agree that most would have phone out of habit, to listen to music, or both.
  20. I know I am alone here because there is clearly some RP love going on here, but I think he comes across as appearing guilty. He has a very evasive way of speaking with people...even family members...and NEVER looks anyone in the eye when answering questions. To an over-zealous detective who thinks she has her man and just needs to prove it, this evasiveness would seem very "guilt-like". One of the lessons to be learned here (and it is unfortunate that it is a reality), is that whenever one is questioned by the police, one should ALWAYS have representation, regardless of how innocent one is. There have been many cases in which guilty pleas have been extracted from innocent folks through manipulation, twisting of words and endless hours of badgering and interrogation.
  21. Loved the bits from the gym teacher along the lines of, "I have received direct orders from The President of the United States in mimeographed form to administer a physical fitness test..." "Did you see Red Dawn? What are you going to do when the Ruskies parachute into your town..."
  22. I was thinking the same thing. I also did not understand how Murray's involvement helped make Barry "the hero". They pretended that he had beer in the bags (not sandwiches) and then Murray "busted" him and made him leave with the beer. If I was one of the guys at the party who was out money and also had no beer to show for it, I certainly would not have considered Barry "a hero". My fake ID got me into a lot of bars and clubs in the 70's and 80's. Then again, the drinking age was 18 AND no one cared if you showed them a fake ID...they just needed to see any kind of ID so that they were not liable. Times have changed. ETA - LOVE the show...have been watching since day 1...hope it gets some traction.
  23. I love the fact that they made Murray's past so cool...waited tables with Lou Reed, HS basketball star, class president, etc. because he is such a non-go-getter in middle age.
  24. Granted, they have many of their expenses paid for...makes that $52K stretch a little further.
  25. I would think that there are more than enough people that would want to visit, either out of curiosity, their own sense of fame whoring, or simply to see naked chicks!
