  1. Started watching and got annoyed that she is a coder but works on two small laptops, instead having multiple screens and one computer. Is this probably because it easier not to have her face blocked by monitors when shooting, probably. But it bugged me anyway.
  2. After looking at the visual aids- the “try hard” burger place was an actual place on Melrose. I think it’s a Starbucks now- but I could be wrong about that part.
  3. Just finished season 2thought it was much better than the first two. I think that Fred Savage is so good in this show and is my favorite part. I loved the first five minutes that opened season 2.
  4. I was also disappointed in Greene. He is dipicted as a good teacher during traumas but he found a problem with Carter and Lucy and when it became too difficult to solve he gave up. I don't know why continually expect more from Greene. And I agree that Peter is to blame for the end of the relationship- it would seem that even his sister would agree from that one scene she scolds him for not confiding with Corday.
  5. I'm glad that my POP rewatch/watch is now on a more bearable Dr. Greene- if his personality doesn't give you that clue, he is working in scrubs again. But now I was wondering if he would have gone down this PTSD plot if Susan stayed. Does anybody know what the writers were planning before Sherry Sprinfield decided to leave?
  6. So I'm a little behind on the daily POP reruns but I just finished S4 E2 and I'm really getting tired of Mark Green's PTSD storyline. I was really hoping it would end when season 3 ended. Also how many times is he going to call somebody a drunk or drug addict and then we find they aren't have another medical problem?
  7. I loved that this episode was added to the nonac. MASH was on all the time when I was growing up- to the point that the theme song meant I had half hour until bedtime. I saw this episode way too young and Alan Alda in canoe full of limbs just scarred me.
  8. I would really prefer to have all Craig scenes be 100% Gizmo related. Of course, Gizmo can have his own scenes outside of Craig interactions.
  9. I really enjoy this show and I'm sad that it is ending. I would really love a show with just Tina and Michelle. I loved Michelle last season and this season I'm loving Tina just as much. I can watch these two endlessly and just want more of them. I loved Michelle screaming at Brett, but equally loved the look on her face as she sees Brett with the Uber girl. I can't get enough of Melanie Lynskey, even if I don't agree with everything she does.
  10. I don't know about you, but I would prefer to have strangers use my bathroom (though, they aren't really strangers) then have a portapotty in my front yard for an extended period of time. I bet you could have MTV pay for extra maid service or something.
  11. I agree. Also, he has no where else to be? He seems to be glued to Amber's side all the time. I would take the free trip to NYC but I would be site seeing while she was doing press and working all day. It creeped me out when they were interviewing Amber in her hotel room and the camera was focused on her and Matt chimed in and the camera goes to a wide shot and you realize he has been there the whole time. I do have to say that I felt Amber did a good job explaining herself and how she felt with Farrah during the Aftershow taping. She said what she needed to say and didn't engage with the madness.
  12. I love this topic and have my own show suggestion- Everwood. Apparently the first couple of seasons are on DVD, but as suggested on the podcast, who watches DVDs anymore. I think this would be a perfect show for an afternoon run. It was a perfect fit for the now defunct SoapNet (R.i.P.). It has Chris Pratt in one of his first roles, as well as Emily VanCamp and Treat Williams! I think many people missed this sweet show the first time around, but I think this is a perfect syndication watch.
  13. Season 2 of The Carrie Diaries was released on Netflix over the weekend. I enjoyed watching the first part of the second season. Some of the cheeky references to how things will actually change- I can do without but it's a fun Netflix watch.
  14. I watched the pilot on a plane a month ago and remembered thinking how this rang true to me. I grew up in a house with multiple languages spoken all the time, and the younger generation understanding another language but answering in English was pretty commonplace.
  15. I know that this isn't fair to the actress that plays Dani, but I suspected she was up to no good because she played the Claudia's friend and "the bad influence" in Party of Five a million years ago. I wonder how far they are going to take this storyline, are we going to see a trial? I have concluded that Mariana is a poor man's version of Brenda Walsh. On 90210 (also a million years ago) Brenda would whine and do horrible selfish things and at the end of the show she would insincerely apologize and then roll credits! Mariana is bratty and I find her completely unsympathetic, yet I feel like the writers want us to root for her. Also, when will she dye her hair back to a more natural color!
  16. Lilit kills it again!
  17. Best Cara Maria moment of the evening was at the duel (is that what the elimination challenge is called??) and during the Laurel/Jasmine challenge she just said, "this is just sad." It made me look up from whatever I was doing and take note at how out matched Jasime was due to mere size.
  18. My favorite part of this episode are when she and Stella are hanging out in Tori's bed and Tori was showing Stella her first stuffed animal and explaining to Stella how Candy would send it to the "doll hospital." to get better. Stella then says, "but then your Mom really fixed it" and under her breath Tori said, "that's debatable." Regardless how real or fake you think this show is, I would bet that small scene was real and made me miss her VH1 show.
  19. Why does Cosima wear glasses and none of other clones appear to need to? Has this been explained, and I missed it (which is very probable).
  20. I enjoyed this episode and liked how Winston's story line was more integrated with the rest of the story lines. I loved Winston coming in with the white tux and cane and not gracefully closing the door. Also laughed at a drunk Jess dressed as Ferguson the cat. I just like it when the show gets wacky.
  21. I really liked this scene as well, it felt real to me too- even watching endless hours of television you never cared about before.. However, as a frequent migraine sufferer I was sad she was in her suit for so long. I kept thinking that I can get from the door to pjs and in bed in about 45 seconds when I need to. However, Alicia is an amateur since she never breaks down like this.
  22. I was so annoyed by the ending that I forgot to mention how sad the Mother's wedding dress was. I'm glad this article reminded me to mention it. It look like it wasn't ironed and looked so unflattering- and she is so cute that you know it is the dress.
  23. This is I show I watched, but not religiously but would love to rewatch now in syndication. Is it on anywhere? Now that Chris Pratt is a big movie star, you would thinks some third tier cable channel would bring it back. Two hour block- Everwoord and The OC- where Chris Pratt started and played tertiary characters. That ad campaign worked for SoapNet (R.I.P.) with Melissa McCarthy and Gilmore Girls.
  24. I really like this episode. I don't want to say enjoy, but it was riveting to watch these three women: Alicia, Kalinda and Diane who work hard for the outside world to see them always keeping it together trying to deal with this tragic loss. Diane's scenes reminded me a little when she found out she lost the judgeship and ran into the bathroom to cry. I think this was great acting on everybody's part and the shock of killing off Will started to wear off and I realized that I was going to miss that character. Also, about the reporters at the correspondence lunch. Can we assume that these are political reporters and those reporting about the courtroom shooting were probably reporters that cover the courts on a regular basis??? Just a guess. Also, could it not be public knowledge that Will was dead yet. It seemed like his sisters were just notified.
