I think it's sort of sad in a way how a lot of children styles have changed. At the beginning of fourth grade, I got a new shirt and culottes set. It was green and white with vines and little bears. Oh, and the reddish pink strawberries in the vines....I loved it. I can't imagine that being worn by a nine year old today. That makes me a little sad. Now it seems like the cool thing is mini adult clothes or bright colors with "smart" sayings. I don't particularly like it, but I don't want to make my child not fit in either.

I love it when my significant other talks a lot but only to me. I don't like talking to strangers or around big groups of people. I don't like small talk. I'd hate working in an office. I hate going out as a couple and meeting new people who talk to us for longer than about 5 minutes. I love friendly wait staff but not ones who seem like a fixture at my table. I'm a soulmate type person. "Me and you against the world" philosophy. If you're not my best friend or partner, a little goes a long way. If loyalty between us isn't established, I'm not going to feel all that comfortable.

All the times I've heard a man call another man a bitch, it's been meant to be far more insulting than other names. It is bad. It's as if being called a female anything is worse than other mean things. Does that make sense?

There's a Walgreens near me where a couple in a car was watching other people leave with prescriptions, following them, and then robbing them.

Hmm. Did she have a problem? I mean to say, she either seems a little senile or as someone who doesn't get out much! This isn't a pet peeve. Just want to say how much I love meeting people who have a big, glowing smile and seem genuine. Ah, I do love a great big smile. Too bad we can't smile on here ...not a real smile :)

Hi Sun-Bun! That is gross, especially having to be around it for multiple meals! I don't think I've ever had to endure that. I will say that I don't like it when someone goes on and on about how good their food is while they're eating it. It's great they're enjoying it, but I don't want to have to reassure myself that they're not about to ...well, I won't be vulgar.

I like to get a little sun (vit D) but wear facial sunscreen daily and all over sunblock when I'm outside for over an hour. I also have keratosis pilaris skin colored bumps on my inner legs and no cream makes it go away as well as getting a little sun. Sun hats that block sun from my face and chest are a must for me at the pool.

Do you like flats or sandals with skinny jeans then? I don't like high heels much at all. They do look very nice sometimes, but I no longer wear them often.

I liked it, but I don't typically like action. The age range seemed to be 8/9-12/13 years old. No cursing. Messages about the environment. To me it was interesting and there was some action but not any graphic (bloody) violence or sex. There was a tiny love story part that could have been weird, but I think it was handled innocently and sweet. No hidden adult jokes that I picked up on. It was exactly what I thought it would be, and I plan to show it to my child one day.

Yes. I do understand and agree. It's just, for me, it's that I'm upset about both. So, I can't agree with saying THE reason this is upsetting is because he's a hypocrite. No, the reason I'm upset about the molestation is because there was molestation. I'm also not letting the hypocrisy go over my head, but it's not THE reason I find this devastating. Again, jmo and trying to clarify.
