I did not see any smugness from Sam either. I actually really love Sam this season so far. I hope he continues to be supportive and grateful for his brother. I hope they keep this up because last season hurt all of my SamnDean Brotherly feels.

I'm giving Sam 100% credit for the save. Cas saved Sam, Sam saved Dean. It's about time!

My god, the angel stuff is SO. BORING. Every time Hannah and Cas were on screen, if they weren't talking about Sam and Dean, I zoned out. I wish the bunker chase scenes lasted longer. That was excellent. Welcome back, Dean! I'll miss sassy Demon!Dean, but I'm happy Dean is back. I'm glad the mark will still be an issue though. That'll keep things interesting! I definitely wanted a brotherly moment there at the end and felt kinda cheated of it. But I think next week is going to have a ton of brotherly feels, so I'm trying to be okay with it! Also, I'm laughing at Sam and Dean looking at those pictures of Jared and Jensen.

It's not just you! I don't think he looks THAT much different than he did before the injury. I mean, here he is the day before it happened at JIB con in Rome and I think he looks pretty much the same. I mean, I can definitely see some weight loss now and it makes sense because he worked out a lot to keep up his bulk and had to stop pretty abruptly for months. But I don't think he looks sick at all. I stood next to him at NJ con and if I hadn't known about the shoulder injury I don't think I would have even noticed any difference, really. ...and back on the topic of media - I really hope some of those interviews start popping up!

Love all these pictures! I love Jensen's tweet and that Jared retweeted it. Boys :) Jared is definitely thinner, but I really don't think he looks sickly or anything. I saw him in person at NJ Con about a month and a half ago and I never once thought he looked ill. I thought he looked fine. Here's a cute one:

I remember before the pilot aired I kept seeing promos for it and thought it looked good. Plus I watched Gilmore Girls and liked Jared and it was going to premiere right after it, so why not stick around and watch? So, I did and I enjoyed it. I kept watching week after week, but full-blown obsession didn't start until around mid-season. Then I started rewatching the episodes and learning more about Jared and Jensen and their careers and came to love the actors too. I watch this show for two reasons - Sam and Dean. Everything else comes second to them and their relationship. Like I would seriously just watch (and love) and episode of the two of them sitting in a room talking for 40 minutes. They have their flaws and I haven't always loved what the writers have done with them (especially Sam), but I will always watch for them. Jared and Jensen's off screen relationship makes me love the show even more, if that makes sense. I love their friendship and this really fun, unique bond they seem to have. I think they're great and will continue to shell out money to see them play off each other at conventions haha As for the show itself, most of the time I love it. There have been times where I'm like "ugh, seriously?" but 90% of the time I'm excited to each new episode. Most of the stories keep me interested and I've liked most of the season story arcs and how they affect the boys. It's amazing that this show has been in my life for so long and I've made some great friends and had some great experiences because of it. It's weird to think about it ending one day. I hope that's still far off!

One of the guys on the VFX team tweeted about it. He said they didn't use any old footage, it was all "magic." He said at some point they might release of breakdown of how they did it. The ratings for October 7th have been revised. Nielsen just rereleased them. So Supernatural hed the 1.1 in the demo and got 2.5 million viewers for the premiere. KSite is reporting that the CW is going to show a repeat of the retrospective on 11/4. That was the date the 200th episode was supposed to air. At first I thought (and hoped!) that they were showing it at 8 to lead into the 200th episode, but nope, they're showing a repeat of The Flash as well. Super lame. Probably due to election day, but still lame.

2.13, 1.0 in the demo. Not bad!

The pilot took place in 2005, so a couple years off. But it did happen while Sam was at school and Dean and John were hunting together. Looking forward to hearing Dean's side of this!

Well, no one had made a post, so I decided to jump in and do it since I need to discuss this episode like RIGHT NOW. Sam does look rough! And it's a combination of both make up and Jared losing weight from his shoulder injury. It works for him, though with all Sam is going through at moment. Okay, so. I think Cole is a really interesting character and I've known about him all summer. My one hope was that they would age him up because Travis Aaron Wade is older than both Jared and Jensen (he's 39) and I knew he was supposed to be a kid when his father was killed. But...they didn't. No way do I buy this guy as being 24 years old. Nope. THIS is more like what I was imagining Demon!Dean being like and it looks like Jensen is having so much fun with it. I loved everything about him tonight. Even though I'm perfectly happy to have regular Dean back, Demon!Dean is fun and scary and I enjoy watching him. I also enjoy watching him with Sam. I loved their first confrontation. The boys are back together. Hooray! Still incredibly bored by the angel stuff. I do not care about Hannah. I do not care about her relationship with Cas. I also don't really care about Metatron and that scene went on for far too long. I am so ready for next week!

I'm thinking about how this all ties in with Dean and Sam ending up in the bunker episode 3. Since Dean is wearing the same thing he wears in the clips for that episode I'm thinking Sam is somehow able to knock him out or something (not sure how) and get him back to the bunker where he ties him up. I do think that confrontation probably happens at the very end, as in the last scene and Sam will somehow get the upper hand. It's the only way I can see how they end up in the bunker together.

I think there will be some flashbacks in episode 3 or at least in one interview Jared did at the TCAs (I think) he said there would be. Don't ask me to find that interview, I won't be able to haha. I just remember him quickly saying something about flashbacks and episode 3. Which kinda makes sense since the demon Sam was torturing in the beginning of the premiere it supposed to be in that episode as well. I'm thinking it will flashback to that scene and we'll see more of what he did. So if they're going to show Sam flashbacks then I assume they'll show some Dean ones. At least I hope so.

10.04 description Didn't see that one coming. This will be the first case Sam and Dean work together after Dean is cured.

Aw, please stay! Also, I sent you a message because I felt so bad, but that was before I saw this post so feel free to ignore it haha. I hope you can feel more comfortable here! We appreciate all opinions and speculation! I'm definitely going to try to check myself more often and make sure I'm not giving anything away outside of what's out there officially. As for Cas, I don't even know because I honestly zoned out at basically all of his scenes besides the phone call with Sam. Even when I've gone back to rewatch the episode I fast forward through all the Cas/Hannah stuff because it was a snooze fest. I hope they do something more interesting with him soon!

I'm sorry! I honestly don't think I'm giving that much away? I'm honestly going off of what I saw in the episode. To me it definitely seems like Sam and Dean have not seen each other since what happened in the finale and I get that vibe from everything Sam said in this episode. He has been looking for Dean since he disappeared from the bunker and made no indication that he had seen him since. He and Cas discussed that specifically in the beginning with the whole "why would he just disappear" and "maybe he didn't go willingly" (totally just paraphrasing, but that was the gist). Again, sorry if you felt I was giving away spoilers. I really didn't think I was. I'm really going off this specific episode and the trailers we've seen so far.

Sam didn't know Dean was a demon until he saw the surveillance footage. When he saw that he just assumed it was a demon possessing Dean's dead body. He found out from Crowley on the phone that that wasn't the case, Dean was alive because of the mark, but now his soul is twisted. So, Sam and Dean have not confronted each other since what happened in the finale. So the stuff from the promo and the comic con clips can't be flashbacks. As for how Sam hurt his shoulder, I do hope they can do flashbacks and show what happened now that Jared isn't in the sling anymore. But the time has probably passed.

I definitely don't think any of the Sam/Dean/Bunker scenes are flashbacks. I do think what we saw in the promo for next week will be at the end of the episode and will lead into the third, since that's where the comic con clip came from. I can't really go much further without getting too spoilery here. Sam only wears one sling, which is Jared's. Every clip I've seen from the first three episodes (which I'm pretty sure is all we've seen) he is wearing the sling. I haven't seen any clips where he hasn't had it, including the ones mentioned above. Jared said at a con that he wears the sling through the first 4 episodes. He wasn't able to film without it until episode 5.
