  1. It was a pretty recent one. They were filming this episode when they were there. I'll try to find the video. I just remember them talking about scenes they had a hard time with or something and Jared was like, "we did one of those just the other day" and Jensen asked him which scene he was talking about and Jared was like, "with the story!" and Jensen like rolled his eyes and agreed. I'll look on youtube!
  2. This was pretty lazy writing. What should have happened is that when that door slammed behind Sam they should have gone to commercial break with Sam turning around immediately and trying to get back in the house. Come back from commercial with Sam pounding on door, trying to kick it in. He finally gets into the house and sees that scene. Instead both Sam and Cas don't even seem to care that the door slammed behind them and Dean was still in the house alone with all of those guys. They just sit in the car and wait. I mean, it didn't make sense.
  3. Maybe because of the overkill? I guess running into a room and finding like 5 people dead, like really really dead and bloody with your brother kneeling there with a knife is a pretty crazy image and one that would have him concerned, no matter who the people were. Plus, they were bad dudes, but I don't think Sam and Dean knew just HOW bad. Cas was the only one who saw that guy in the room with Claire. I'm not sure if Sam and Dean had enough information at that point to know that that guy was trying to rape her and everyone else in the room agreed to it. Either way, yeah. It would have had more of an effect if these guys weren't so terrible already.
  4. If I was a huge Cas fan I probs would have loved this episode. But I guess I really just don't care about Claire, so... More Sam and Dean please! But the ending was good. Nice little cliff hanger. It's going to be a long hiatus! Loved Dean's story. I remember at a recent con Jared and Jensen talked briefly about not liking that scene, but I really did. I still love hearing any stories about their childhood. I also love that Sam knew the story as well as Dean did and he wasn't even there. Brothers :)
  5. Oh, hm. I'm pretty sure she was only filming for a week though? I don't think she had enough time to do two episodes. Maybe someone misspoke. I'm going to go with that.
  6. Wait, first of TWO Charlie episodes? Where did you hear there would be two? Sorry. Not a big Charlie fan. I'm already bummed I have to sit through even one more episode of her.
  7. Yup, as both characters. Bird was a bad guy and Luke was a good guy.
  8. I keep thinking of things! I don't know why Dean is being so secretive about how the Mark is affecting him. It's really kind of a big deal. He was all about wanting to talk things out a few episodes ago, now he's keeping things to himself again. I mean, I get that he probably is worried and doesn't want to worry Sam and maybe he thinks that if he downplays it, it's not actually as big of a deal as it is. But to tell Sam this is the *first* time he hasn't felt moved by the mark...well, that's not good. Talk to your brother, Dean! For your safety and for his! It was so refreshing when they talked things out earlier this season. Just give me that BM scene, Dean!
  9. Upon rewatch I discovered that Dean, for the first time that I can remember, uses the puppy dog eyes on Sam! And it works! Sam totally gave in on going to help Jody with just one look. Dean learned from the best. I'm adding this to my favorite things list. ...and someone already made a gif set of it. Oh, fandom. http://clairvoyantsam.tumblr.com/post/104214776719
  10. "Sunlight hurts them like a nasty sunburn" - John Winchester
  11. HEY! Let's talk about that promo! I'm pretty sure most of it is a dream. I know when S.E. Hinton was on set she said she saw a scene where Dean is asleep and I'm pretty sure that was when they were filming this episode. So I'd put money on the episode opening up with Dean asleep having that Dream where he's all bloody and killed people and Crowley and what not and wakes up in a panic. Then the boys meet up with Cas who has just located Clair and needs their help and that's when they have that conversation.
  12. My favorite parts were Dean's wave when he said hi to Jody on the phone, the whole FBI badge kinkos conversation and Sam and Dean's silent communication during the Vamp monologue. Other than that...I was kinda bored. I mean, I like Jody and Donna. Their interaction was fun. But...I don't know. I watch this show for two very specific reasons - Sam and Dean. So any episode where I feel like they play guest stars in their own show, I'm not really into. I liked the Mark of Cain stuff. But yeah. I haven't deleted any episodes off my DVR yet and this will probably be the first to go. That promo for next week though....
  13. Yeah, but Morgan just had two episodes right in a row where he was featured heavily. Reid...hasn't had any of those this season. Reid is honestly the only reason I'm still watching this show. So now I don't really have much of a reason to anymore. I miss him :( Couldn't really take Rossi seriously when he was crying without any tears there at the end.
  14. 2.30, .9 in the demo. Still doing great! 2 more episodes left this year and then we go on hiatus until January 20th!
  15. I didn't have a problem with the dating site. Of course Dean could hook up with someone without it, but I can totally see Dean finding a Tinder-like app and being all over it. Like "wait a second, I put my picture out there and a few lines about myself and hot chicks from all over will flock to me? Where do I sign up?"
  16. I feel like a million things just happened. Holy storylines. That Cole resolution? I am seriously underwhelmed. I hope that's not it. I feel like they left it open with his dad being a monster. Maybe Cole is a monster too and they just don't know it? Maybe Sam and Dean will hear word that he went home and killed his family? There needs to be more! I called that Rowena was Crowley's mother since her casting notice went out. I even said "mother" out loud before Crowley did. She's interesting. I'm ready to see where they go with her. I continue to be bored by Cas and Hannah. Can't say I'm sad to see her go. Maybe Cas can do something interesting now. Probs my least favorite episode of the season so far. I didn't hate it. But I'm just...eh.
  17. I was pleasantly surprised by the ratings this week. We went up in viewers too (2.54). Good job, show! Seriously. This show is never going to end and I'm okay with that!
  18. Not to Nitpick, but the show is all caught up with the time jumps since they choose to ignore them. Every time they say the date it's the same year we're in in real life. At this point I think the show is supposed to be in real time, as in the end of 2014. Making Sam 31 and Dean 35 at the moment.
  19. So good! So many good lines. MarkofCain!Dean. Awkward!Sam. "Who talks like that?" "The Jacket's canvas!" Love, love, love.
  20. I love this show. Ugh, me too. So much. See, writers? It's okay when Sam and Dean get along and like each other and act like brothers. We actually LIKE that. There is no need to constant secret keeping/tension. Please, please don't ruin this.
  21. Maybe it's because I don't particularity care for Charlie, but that article/interview seems really excessive considering she has only been in 4 episodes. I feel like they push Charlie/Felicia Day so hard. I really just don't get it.
  22. This is supposed to be the Clue episode, so it'll be the boys and a bunch of other people in a house with some sort of mystery.
  23. Um. Sam and Dean actually had conversations. They talked about stuff. They listened to each other. They didn't keep their thoughts and feelings to themselves. I didn't think the writers were capable of this. Weird! But very satisfying. Loved every minute of them together. I miss how fun Demon!Dean was, but I'll take regular Dean any day. I wish I cared at all about Kate though. Would have made this episode more enjoyable.
  24. Yeah, I like TV by the Numbers better, but Berman usually gets the numbers up the fastest, shortly after 11 am. Sometimes an hour before TV by the Numbers has them up. I've pretty much stopped paying attention to his commentary because he's never seemed to like or care about Supernatural. People used to call him out on it when he'd put it on his losers list, but I don't see much of that anymore. Final numbers are in - .9 in the demo, 2.08 million viewers. Pretty good considering it was up against the World Series last night.
