Carole Radziwill: She's a Real Princess!
snarts replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
Bye! I bet she'll regret giving up the paycheck. -
Watching both shows since episode one, all guest excursions have included at least one stew and one crew. Conrad can't both drive the tender and pour drinks. The reason Hannah & Conrad left the guests alone at the bar was to avoid the primary continually asking them to join in the festivities. Hannah said as much during the episode. The majority of the time was spent in the tender on the sunset tour.
-
Ah, but they did.
-
The rest of the crew's workload was lighter with the guests off the boat. Captain Sandy's anger was ridiculous, as was ordering them back to the boat. Even Captain Lee who live tweets most episodes but generally tries not to "monday morning quarterback" Captain Sandy, retweeted "what happened to whatever the guests want?" Yeah.
-
The guests were all on the dingy, completely entertained & happy, why is Captain Sandy pissed at Hannah? Why wasn't she upset with Conrad? I can her being upset if they took off alone shirking responsibilities but that's not what happened. What was Hannah supposed to tell the guests, "no you can't see the sunset, we have get back?" Plus, having two crew members take the entire guest party off the boat is fantastic. Every season someone mentions how great it is for the crew when the guests are off exploring. Then, when Hannah gets back, instead of Sandy telling her why she's upset, she in effect sends her to her room to wait? How does that help the rest of the crew with the workload?

S13.E02: One Apology, Another Betrayal
snarts replied to Taralightner's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
This, and can they also have money? This was supposed to be a look behind the gates of the extremely wealthy (or those living way beyond their means in order to appear wealthy). The new chick lives in a tract home and is raising three toddlers. Who the hell wants to watch that? That was all their suitcases, I just assumed the tampons were for the girls. Didn't Shannon get hormone therapy for her menopause/weight gain last season? -
I think she said it this episode, she aspires to be Lisa Vanderpump. The key is that a lot of people, like me, are tuning in to see her (& Jay). Will they be interested the lives of her workers? So far, I'll say no, but I also hated Vanderpump Rules at first yet I'm still watching six year later and it probably my favorite cast at the moment. I will say this, they need some more attractive dudes, Manbun, the country music guys are not going to be enough.

Yes, well, on Delta, JetBlue & Southwest you can. I can't speak for all the other airlines. They're one glass bottles of wine and they are indeed yucky. The prosecco on Delta is relatively quaffable, especially as a mimosa. He paid for the drinks. She thanked him. I'm not surprised he made a move, I'm just surprised he did while the older lady was sitting there. Alison's reaction seemed a little over the top. You'd think she'd be used to having guys throw themselves at her.

Wow, I rarely pay attention to follower counts but your post made me wonder. For comparison, Chelsea from Teen Mom 2 has 5.2 million followers. Late to the episode party. Bethenny was definitely a vacation buzzkill this episode. Typical of her to drag everyone down when she's not feeling well. Plus, so much of her purported drama is self-induced. If she''d learn to live with the court ordered custody arrangement, stop moving every year, and eat a sandwich so she's not so hangry all the time, she'd be much happier. That said, Carole was also acting like the prettiest girl at the prom for going out with red sweater guy. Way smug. I'd love to see her reaction to the guy's comments to Bethenny at the speed dating event. He was definitely throwing game, and Carole's too proud to admit she fell for it. Tinsley's idea for room assignments was great but it would've been far less confusing had she merely placed a box in each room before taking the ladies on the tour.

Manipulation. She told us what she's doing during the season. Playing to his ego, making him feel likes she's an ally rather than the enemy. She, more than anyone, knows exactly what he's capable of, but she realizes he's the father of her kids and she's going to have to deal with him for many years. Keep your friends close and you enemies closer. What's her alternative? He hasn't been charged with anything, it's quite likely he won't be. Do you really think the local courts would take his custody away without a conviction?
-
People whose friends dislike Kathryn continue to spread doubt like it's their job. Like HunterHunted said, I trust the courts and the random drug tests over the word of someone with an ax to grind.
-
If Hannah wanted attention any for the reasons listed above, she would've faked food poisoning or another illness. She wouldn't want her anxiety issues to be filmed and become a story line. Unfortunately, any type emotional/mental illness can have an impact or limit ones career, especially for high stress situations or industries. I agree, I think they're true friends off-camera and he knows about her anxiety, which is why she got up and went to talk to him. The Brooke & Joao situation is going to end badly, and I didn't need the previews to tell me that.

No, I viewed Chelsea's reaction as shock that Paislee didn't know she & Aubree share a father. She even said something like, doesn't she realize?

I don't see Luann using rehab as excuse to skip the reunion & questions surrounding the lawsuit. Yes, she announced her divorce after the reunion was filmed last season but she in no way tried to act like all was well when it was filmed. She shared that they slept apart the night prior and acknowledged there were ongoing issues. It's not her fault the reunions are filmed so much prior to air date. Luann's is pretty direct. She came back from rehab this season and was very candid and matter-of-fact about her arrest and the details surrounding it. If she feels she should return to rehab, I applaud her. Too many people would try to save face and not admit to needing help.

Wish for more Kristin/Jay and their friends scenes and way less Shannon. Maybe some of the other workers are interesting, I do not know. Shannon sucks the life out of all those interactions. Wirth? why does he want to work in a retail shop? On Friday & Saturday nights no less?
-
I think most of them have. Chelsea for sure. Kail as well. Leah's actually stayed put for a couple years now too. Jenelle's the only one living in a swamp trailer.
-
Does Kail get her vacations comped if she invites another cast member? If so, I applaud her in ingenuity. I would much rather see them on vacation than in the forced at home conversations.

Someone threatening you is frightening, even if you don't have hurtful skeletons in your closet. It shows the depth of their hatred for you. Keep in mind that this was filmed during the one year phased custody agreement. Kathryn was already dealing with Thomas and the random alcohol/drugs tests. Now she has some unhinged girlfriend threatening her, on camera no less. I would be frightened too. I wonder how much the cast knew or had heard about the situation with Luzanne Otte? Also, I find it hard to believe that Snowden hadn't heard about Thomas' new girlfriend and her behavior on the trip to Hilton Head.

S10.E14: Dating Wishes and Cabaret Dreams
snarts replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
IMHO, Carole's always been mean, especially in her talking heads. What stands out to me was her treatment of Luann from the jump and her slut shaming of Luann & Sonja on that trip with the Johnny Depp lookalike. -
Or she could have added them to deed of the Sag Harbor home. That's the very careless wording in the divorce decree. Had either party been thinking, the trust would've been established at that time of their divorce and Alex would've transferred his interest to that trust. I get that the kids are concerned about their financial interests moving forward. However, this type of family lawsuit rarely ends well, especially when both parents seem inordinately ruled by their libidos.

Thomas Ravenel (& whomever else he draws into his dysfunction)
snarts replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in Southern Charm
Ashley's family hates her too?. Explains why she hasn't moved back to California. -
A popcorn stand at the mall. That's where Kortni said she was working when she met her boyfriend. I don't think any of them have careers. Gus mentioned attending Florida State after last season. Are any of the others in school?
