  1. I swear, just for a second, I saw Donald Sutherland's face in the crowd at EST. I agree, PinkRibbons.
  2. I am just blown away by that outfit. Never would have been allowed in my high school. I know ripped denim was big in the '90s, and so was spandex...but I only saw stuff like that in music videos. I was already in college when this originally aired. I was in the midwest, we mostly wore pleated jeans and giant sweaters. Was all this denim & spandex & leather actually a thing in high schools on the coasts?
  3. I think I'm finally done with this show. Season 4 was sooooo bad, but I thought they could turn it around this season. They can't; it sucked; shark: jumped. And what was up with giving Liz like 7 different endings and then not giving other cast members any kind of wrap-up at all?
  4. Brooke is that special kind of narcissistic racist who assumes all other white people agree with her just because they're white. They don't ever attempt to filter anything they say. They are the WORST. I was surprised how much I liked Dean Cain in this! All the things I've been reading about Reek here made me think he was gonna be some kind of player. And I totally forgot how hot he was back then.
  5. The most memorable thing to me after watching this episode today was Donna's "fashion show". Just awful. And her entire career as a model seems to take place over just a few days! Come on, we've seen Tyra's show, we know modelling doesn't work that way!
  6. I say it's funny! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ I thought the plaid shirt girl looked familiar too, but I've never seen anything she's credited for. She's like a cross between Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Melissa Rivers. On a related note, I found that interview Tiffani-Amber Thiessen did with Sassy around this time, where she talks about how great her boyfriend Brian Austin Green's music is, among other dubious things.
  7. I think it's strange that they didn't drive 2 underage girls going to Europe for the first time to the airport themselves. Yeah, they would have had to film at the airport or get an airport set to use, but it's kinda weird when Jim says, "If I don't stop talking you're gonna miss the plane," and then they get on an airport shuttle instead of a plane. This was a tough one to get through, watching alone, between Steve's gross attempts to get a leg over (get 2 legs over?), Brenda's insistence that she is in the right, and Jim's clueless refusal to budge. But the writers must really think the audience is stupid if they think they can pull off a statutory rape accusation BETWEEN 2 UNDERAGE TEENS. COME ON!
  8. I have not been keeping track, but it seems like Kelly got the most overall episode MVPs, and Brandon got the most LVPs. It really seems like Brandon became truly insufferable this season. He was always a jackass who'd bray at anyone over...anything, really...but this season, even when it wasn't about him, he was just so douchey, insinuating himself into things that had nothing to do with him, taking credit for things he didn't do, and just having a smarmy, ever-present "I am SO involved" -ness look on his face. I dunno, is it just me, or did Brandon get worse in season 2?
  9. Oh man, I luuuuuuuurrrrrrrrve me some Grant Show! I watched Point Pleasant because of him! It actually wasn't so bad! Brenda leaving the country with no I.D. is truly brainless. "A talk-o" dun dun DUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN! Cracked me up!
  10. I agree with everyone about how if all the characters just talked to each other honestly, pretty much everything would be solved. Just like last season, if Liv had just told her loved ones about her zombism, they would understand why she did the things she did. I dunno if it's intentional, but this show is making a statement about keeping secrets and not trusting your closest friends.
  11. I agree, I really like Kelly's dress in this episode. But the scrunch socks and chunky shoes are too much. I know that was the look at the time, but she really needed some sheer hose and ballet flats to keep her legs from looking so stumpy. But that dress was so hip at the time, and it also makes her look young. I feel like a lot of the time they dress the kids too old.
  12. Nope, it's almost certainly someone we met briefly, and were reminded of in last week's episode. That's gotta be who Pete was on the phone with. I'm pretty sure Pete lent this person his Red Devil costume. Can't imagine who Pete killed, or maybe he's just giving himself guilt by association.
  13. Yay, I was right about Amy being the suicide. I got one insignificant detail right. This is not a spoiler - I have not looked at any spoilers and don't know anything. But if you look at the next episode's title...I think that's who Pete was talking to on the phone. It explains why Pete stalked Chanel. The person would have wanted revenge on her for what happened between them. And I think Pete lent that person his Red Devil costume. I can't figure out who Pete may have killed. I don't know what Pete's relationship to the person is, but he must be a sibling, possibly an adoptive one, since Boone left Pete all his...stuff (ick).
  14. For anyone who doesn't know about The Shakers, they were a sect who took "no sex without marriage" one step further: no sex at all. So, they died out. Their biggest contribution to society is this hymn, which Jim and Cindy sang a bit of.
  15. Good job Avaleigh! From last night's (episode 10) episode, we know Wes is probably the father of the bathtub babies. So he had sex with Sophia (the babies's mother) and also Bethany (Grace's mom) but not Amy, who is likely Gigi in the present. Azgard12 said: That's why he's a good pick for the other Red Devil; we don't know his whereabouts most of the time, but the girls can usually be accounted for during the killings or attempted killings. I had believed Hester to be the other Red Devil, but now I think it's Pete. I think Pete was born a girl. The Red Devil is physically taller than Gigi, and the girls seem to be about the same height as her. We know Gigi's head was substituted for the Turkey sometime after Munsch, #3, Zayday, and Grace checked on it in the oven. Pete came in after that. There's no reason to believe Pete's accusation of Wes being Boone's father is false; but the fact that Pete accused Wes throws the suspicion off Pete, and also drives a wedge between Grace and her dad, which could make her more susceptible to Pete's charms. The Mandy Greenwell murder (the former Kappa in the trailer) happened after Pete and Grace visited, and Pete was the one who found her. Pete is known to have the costume because he's a mascot. And unlike everyone else at the Kappa Thanksgiving, Pete had no invitation (OK, neither did Munsch, but she stated her reason for being there was the superior kitchen, and she supplied the main course) or reason for being there, he just showed because Zayday was tweeting it. Also, we know nothing of Pete's background. ETA: If you don't wanna know who the other killer probably is, then don't look at upcoming episode titles on imdb like I did. No, don't even consult your TV guide for the next 3 weeks.
  16. I had believed Hester to be the other Red Devil, but now I think it's Pete. I think Pete was born a girl. There's just too many murders or attempts at murder where all the Chanels were accounted for, and Grace and Zayday were accounted for. The Red Devil is physically taller than Gigi, and the girls seem to be about the same height as her. We know Gigi's head was substituted for the Turkey sometime after Munsch, #3, Zayday, and Grace checked on it in the oven. Pete came in after that. 17. So, this is the first episode of 90210 I've watched in awhile where I didn't have to keep pausing in order to bang my head on the desk! They really can do a good episode when they try. Brandon was still an ass, and so was Jim, ffs, but it didn't dwell on them, and moved along nicely. Shannen is a better actress than most people give her credit for. Hopefully her days of being disruptive on set are behind her; she's got a couple of movies coming up that look pretty good. Team green! On an especially geeky note, I recognized our robber from a movie featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Quest of the Delta Knights (season 9 episode 13), where he played Leonardo Da Vinci (seriously).
  18. I kept falling in and out of sleep while watching this last night, but I didn't miss a thing, because every time I woke up, Brandon was braying about the Peach Pit. What. A. Jackass. I hate how he's always excused from being/encouraged to be such a glib, sarcastic, condescending prick.
  19. Wren's dad was some random pervert who kept telling her he was gonna fuck her as soon as she was old enough. One day, he stopped at the Cortez to drink at the bar, leaving her in the car with the windows rolled up. The Countess broke the window and "saved" Wren, making her a vampire that stayed in a room with Holden, bodily processing blood for the Countess to drink. Wren said her dad died at some point, it's not relevant to our story.
  20. I liked this episode, liked the '20s flashback, thought Gaga did fine with the acting. I agree that Finn's accent was bizarre. How do you screw up an Italian accent? That's a pretty easy one. I'm getting really bored with John Lowe's storyline. Hopefully it gets moved along next week, considering the episode title is The Ten Commandments Killer. Something about Wes Bentley just doesn't compute with me...I don't get what others see in him.
