  1. Congrats to Celina and the writers that have finally turned her to a nice addition to the cast, when at the beginning she was simply annoying. I think the writers confuse rookies' inexperience and nervousness with them being annoying idiots. Like they are doing this year with the Texas dude and the liar. I will also give credit to the writers for making Smitty the comic relief/mascot of the show instead of the idiotic slightly villain he was at the beginning. And here stop the good words for the writers. So mighty-Saint Nolan has no problem that his wife conspired with a hitman with the result of TWO people being killed. But...she was scared... yeah.. how much of a valid legal argument this would be on a court? I do not feel any kind of sympathy for Bailey and her hypocrite husband. On a serious note, it is very difficult for a woman to protect herself from abusers and stalkers, but I am not sure this show delivers the right message here. Seth, Seth, Seth, you are so expendable.. please take the Texas dude with you.
  2. lol, yeah I forgot about this cause well, don't care about this characters!
  3. My main problem with this show it is the side characters. They are not intriguing or interesting. I do not care about Sarah, or her other colleague that I can't even remember his name now, I could not care less about Julian, Senior or even Olympia. The only ones that are slightly interesting are Shae and that lady from Archives. Talking about Shae, could she be Senior's daughter? As for realism, I treat 90% of recent TV shows as fantasy ones, since writers cover their constant weak writing with stupidity. Still, I think we deserve an episode with Matty's backstory. How she is so rich? I would not mind a flashback episode.
  4. Cute episode! And yes, add me to the Ioan club please :) I had never heard of Nancy Wilson before, thank the Gods for Shazam, cause at the beginning I was sure it was Eartha Kitt, lol!

  6. The boat's name is "Katina"??? ok... in Greek, Katina is a nickname for Katerina/Catherine.. but it also has the meaning of a very gossipy, petty, mean person. It is an impressive boat, but I can help giggling every time I see the name.
  7. I am not sure I have been annoyed with a victim's family before, at least as much I was with that missing girl's father. Yes, I was rooting for the oligarch's goons... I cannot even remember, why Lucy and Tim broke up in the first place? I mean, apparently to create TV drama, but what was the reason? I actually find Bailey's reaction quite realistic, which is shocking, since this show and realism are not very compatible. She can't easily accept the fact she helped to kill her ex, so she behaves like if nothing is her fault. The Texas dude is still "meh"..
  8. yep, we all do!! 😉
  9. I could ask some AI bot, but I think I can manage just fine by myself: I predict the serial killer will target Nyla, her family or one of her friends/colleagues. Cause this is what serials killers do on TV, they go after cops. I confess... I find the Texas rookie 10 times more annoying than Bailey. I even find him more annoying than Elijah. I am not American, but I really dunno what I would I do if I had to work with someone talking like this, it is not the accent only, he is like a walking stereotype. Maybe Seth and the Texas dude are both serial killers. Maybe everyone is a serial killer and they are having their annual convention in LA. Shame on me (maybe...) but I do not mind what Bailey did, she saved us from another idiot villain. Good job girl!
  10. This was stupid. The "suicide plan"? stupid. The daugther? stupid. The dad and his request? stupid, but at least he got an excuse. Still, how much selfish is to ask from your kid to shoot you dead? What kind of father does that to his child? Oh and Nolan's personal drama timing? stupid.
  11. It is like this in almost every cop show in this universe. Ultra annoying.
  12. So far this season, I wasn't as annoyed as I were with the last one. The writing has been improved from very bad to almost tolerable. And then... here comes the serial killer. Or in our case, two of them. I so much detest the serial killers arcs in any cop show. Why? why? Why serial killers? Do people really like their stories that much?? Or is it just lazy writing? I will say it... serial killers make me prefer the red hair evil lawyer. Hell, I even prefer Elijah. Omg, I could even spend a few episodes with that utterly annoying brother of Nolan or the dude with the German accent. I surrender, just bring back the FBI lady with the huge cleavage and that voice that could make your ears bleed. I would even watch a spin off with just Bailey on military training in Germany. ANYONE, ANYTHING than Serial Killers. p.s. And why Bailey did a military training in Germany?
  13. NO SPOILERS. Well I finished it. I did Fast Forward quite a lot, but still, I was quite curious to see where it goes. This show has actually an interesting premise, even if a bit naive. The main issue with it is the bad and cliche writing and the uninspired directing. Even with this writing, a good directing would had elevated it from "meh" to "decent". The cast is quite good but sometimes they acted like if they were amateurs, not that I can blame them with the material they had to work with. I think that both seasons shouldn't have more than 6 episodes in total. There was a lot of story dragging in season 2.
  14. Ok, this is driving me crazy, not only in L&O franchise, but in other cop shows as well, and I would like the opinion of a Law Enforcement person, in case anyone read us: WHY ON EARTH police officers going after a suspect are identifying themselves and order the suspect to surrender from distance while they are not in any position to capture/restrain him? We keep seeing this in almost every L&O episode, where our police officers run after persons of interest. In this episode it is even worst. Shaw sees the bomber and instead of trying to approach him and restrain him reveals himself from a distance and he tries to "persuade" him to surrender. The guy is supposed to be a suicide bomber, so in which universe a suicide bomber will be persuaded by "NYPD, stay where you are/drop your bomb or I will shoot you, kid"? Not to mention the other stupidity of just attacking him the moment he is holding the detonator. You don't know if it is the kind of detonator that explodes when you stop pressuring it. I know it is more dramatic having cops running after suspects around NY, but it is also idiotic and absolutely ridiculous.
  15. Well, after two episodes this is still bad, actually worse than season 1. My biggest question is how such a good cast plays that bad. They act like if they are in a school play. I mean yes, the writing is awful, but still, the directing could be at least decent. I am not sure if I will keep watching or try to find a recap on line. It is so bad, it makes me curious of what will happen next.
  16. I guess it is not about that, but them not following orders. I guess. I honestly have no clue what is realistic or not, police rules concerned. The last few seasons I treat this show like if it belongs to fantasy/sci-fi genre.
  17. Not as interesting as the first two episode, although I did chuckle a bit with the constant failures of the sophisticated alarm system. The Rookies are equally annoying. "Darling"? really? Are people from Texas that annoying or the writers just use "funny" stereotypes? Wesley's jealousy is "bleugh"... Did they bring Lucy's friend back (I didn't even remember her, I still don't, lol) to make Lucy jealous? Meh... Also the whole thing with Nyla's hubby is the writers idea of trying to talk about current police issues? Meh x 2... Btw, doesn't that blond rookie look like a younger version of T-1000 from Terminator? I keep expect him to start running with blades as hands.
  18. hmmm... maybe they still are? I mean.. look at the monitors in the surveillance room, they look brand new. No way a monitor would look as new after 300+ years. I have to change my monitor every 3-4 years not 300! Someone must keep supplying them with those.
  19. They do not like to give us much info, do they? 😁 It has been 350 years, maybe the AI was evolved too much and took things in its own "hands"? I am trying so hard not to read the books. Mostly because they have changed a lot of things on the TV adaptation.
  20. That's also a good theory. What perplexes things is the "safeguard". Why poison the population you are supposed to protect? Stop them from going out cause it is dangerous is one thing, but kill them because they do not obey?
  21. But Radiation does not last 350 years...right? My mind goes more to some chemical or biological weapon they developed and got out of hands.
  22. Real life is very busy, so allow me to paste here mostly what I wrote in reddit. Great episode. I hope they find a way for Bernard to survive cause Tim Robbins is simply amazing. We do know Jules in indestructible, hopefully Bernard will borrow some of her plot armor and join us again for season 3. Was it the same PEZ as the one Jules had? I liked the flashback, that means season 3 will go back and forth in time? I can see that, Jules trying to disable safeguard while at the same time we see who created the damn thing. Sims, even the AI rejected you, LMAO! Overall a very disappointing season, one could skip all first 8 episodes to watch the last 2 and miss nothing important. It seems like they didn't have enough material for 10 episodes and they stretched the story a LOT, filler after filler. Anyway the premise is really interesting, so of course I 'll be back for season 3, but I will probably be patient enough to wait and binge watch it, so if there are again filler parts to FFW them and be less frustrated about it :)
  23. Maybe that rookie is working for the red hair evil lawyer that I can't remember her name, but still laughing when thinking of her running in high heels in the fields of South America.
  24. Omg, they even showed the Disco Klingons, lol! What a great finale. I will miss ths show so much... It was made from people who love and understand Star Trek. Even my favorite Strange New Worlds episode was with those two weirdos. Sigh... I hope one day they will return ..
  25. Does anyone call for backup in any of the cops shows? They always seem to feel just fine going all by themselves to face the bad guys. At least this show is a comedy. In serious dramas you even get main characters killed because of it. It is such a surprise when in the very rare occasion someone indeed calls for backup, that I cheer! The other day I was watching The Rookie, which is neither serious nor realistic and they indeed called for backup, like they should! I was 😮. It was a small miracle !
