For more than half of this season, I wasn't watching the show but reading your amazing comments! Thanks to all the commentators here, cause your comments are far more interesting than any of the BD shows! The BD franchise formula: The charters: randoms guests often pretending that knew each other before coming on board stupid requests cheap beach setups in some usually pathetic beaches silly parties that request humiliating the crew lots of drunk guests, apparently drinking heavily trying to forget they are a part of the show random nasty guest behavior more stupid requests occasional guest trauma (from minor wounds to burnt dresses). The Crew: At least one person that qualifies to get fired before the half of the season At least one villain (not necessary the one who get's fired) A chef that usually can't really cook well or has some kind of issues/phobias At least one docking going wrong or almost going wrong One sex predator, in some cases (Gary) a serial one Various "love" combinations that end up to ugly filmed sex scenes and "relationships" that at best have the maturity of a pre-teen couple. A lot of drunk people behaving like morons in public A lot of scenes in the jacuzzi A lot of farting and barfing A lot of captains snoring while the crew is partying in the boat Captain Sandy going berserk The Boats: Usually none of the kind that someone would really pay this amount of money to spend 3 days on (not that they are really paying) At least one malfunction per season. Sometimes even more than once Galleys from hell Anchors with attitude As long as they have a jacuzzi.. suffering micromanaging usually from a certain blonde captain Locations: Once upon a time, we use to get more from the locations, but I guess after Covid they stopped even bothering Ok nice people, did I forget anything? I am ready to film my own BD? :)

Yes!! I wouldn't mind a Rosehaven one as well, if they stay in Tasmania!
-
I want a LD - Twin Peaks crossover. And I want it now!! The writing team of this show it is just amazing.
-
That was so much fun! Was I the only one that after watching he crossover with Strange New Worlds, that I kept bringing in my mind Boimler and Mariner in their human/actors forms? Also that spaceship at the end with the Klingons.. was that from the Fifth Element? It strongly reminded me of something but I can't remember from which TV or movie.

this was an amazing episode... I will miss this show so much... p.s. Ho-lah... Hee-yah.. Ho-lah Hee-yah Ho-lah!! Hee-yah!!

(since this has become a trend recently) To all the writers and showrunners in US TV: After the strikes end (hopefully in your favor) please, STOP SEPARATING your successful ensables. I honestly do not get it and I do not see it contributing to the series. So Oliver has no issue covering for a potential murder..because, because whatever. I still enjoy the actors, but if it wasn't for them I would had stopped watching this season.

Omg, I literally LOL when I read this! I think Vines called him to find the box his wife's lover stole.
-
So, do the producers ask/take a signed consent statement from the couple that has sex before they film them? Are they over them to hear if a "no" will be said so they should stop them, being the heroes they are? ah, so ridiculous!

I like this cast, I like these characters, I like this world. Hopefully, next season the show's writers will like them and appreciated them as well. I enjoyed the last episode more than most of this season, still there were some issues (like the stupid way the Blond Terminator dies or Leaphorn being a vigilante). Initially I was a tad pissed off Bernadette left, but the showrunner told the character will stay in the series, so that calmed me down :D In any case, this season messy and unfocused but I still love having this show. p.s. And please writers, no more omnipotent psycho killers that grew up with Hannibal Lecter as their role model, pretty please, with sugar on top?

This was a lovely episode with some all star acting. It was connected to the previous one ...but still.. ...this is the last season, we have seen 6 episodes and 4 of them are without our ensemble being together. And I hate it. It is like if they are trying to fit everything in this season. They should either go for one more season or a bigger last one.

First, let me share with you how much I can't stand of the tall lady comedian, who I think she plays all her roles the same way. It is a big mystery for me why she is considered a good actress. I find her the exact opposite of Meryl Streep. I mostly enjoyed this, but, I have noticed this trend in many series this year, I do not like splitting up your ensemble and keep it separately. Cause this whole show is this trio.

aawww..and I thought you were on holidays!

Just do not take for granted that whiteys know things about the Native Americans, especially the younger whiteys. I have to admit, that most of my initial knowledge did come from Tv and movies, ok I am European, but still.. For example, I had no clue about Navajo in WWII before I watched X-Files. Or the horrible boarding schools that I basically learned about recently from another series. And I also did not know about white ppl sterilizing the women before Dark Winds. The stereotype (?) that we usually get from Tv and movies is that NA are only miserable, living in miserable rezs from previous centuries and just die from alcohol or their own hands. Not sure how much truth is in this. This season so far has been dumb. I really do not get the focus on the blonde dude. He is not interesting and he is not someone connected with the Native Americans, just a random assassin/bomber hired to do a dirty job. The Vines fella seems much more interesting, especially how a white man "embraces" whatever Indian culture he likes and plays it some kind of spiritual leader and even many natives follow him! That would be a good topic to explore, not the mindless "western" duels between Leaphorn and the white Terminator.

It is like if they wrote the season just for the Blond Terminator. Which could have been interesting, maybe, if the guy had any character development, but he doesn't, we just know he probably has mommy issues. He is like these undead killers from horror movies like Halloween..that keep coming back no matter what you throw on them. The only, sort of, Navajo related topic they bothered with this season, is the one about white doctors sterilizing native women, but they are doing it so badly.. with this super annoying white journalist that keeps asking the same questions in the same frustrating way. I have no clue how this story is in the book(s), but they have definitely screwed this up in the series.

I did not enjoy the episode, I mean, really I have had enough with the blond killer, it seems like if the whole damn season is about him killing and/or being on the run. I do not understand why they have devoted so much time to him, he is not that interesting to have the whole damn show revolving around him in such heavy doses. Anyway, at least he is behind bars.. for now. Cause I have this feeling he will escape and at the end Leaphorn will finally kill him. Which I hope it happens in the next episode and we will never see or hear about him again. As for the rest, the white reporter is equally annoying. How many times we will see her trying to persuade Emma to talk to her? The season seems to have every story dragging. The only interesting part of the season so far are the Vines, at least whenever the show remembers they exist.

Plz, do not feel bad, you are the savior of my precious free time! Your personal style commenting is very much close to the actual thing!

After reading @Tanukisan summaries I have no desire to watch any of these two episodes. Will I miss something? Did they go to any nice place?
-
Is our omnipotent killer from the books? Did he came from the future? Is he a terminator? I honestly expecting him cut off his hand to fix the metallic components inside.. On a serious note (lol), I just do not like the psycho villain that can do everything right in every occasion and can escape a bazillion of times until our good guy finally catches him/her. This dude almost ruins the season for me. I prefer the mystery about the mines, the rich weirdo and the police work around all this, than trying to catch poor man's Hannibal Lecter (ok he is not eating people, yet.. but I dunno... if we see him buying fava from a store... or Chianti...).

I think she hasn't realized it before. After all, it wasn't long ago since Jules stole the tape so they haven't thought about it.

S02.E06: All Wrong/S02.E07 The Turnover Day
Zaffy replied to TexasGal's topic in Below Deck Down Under
ok just a little bit off topic. I want to apologize to the person I replied to with "Dear....". (I cant remember who and the comment was deleted). English is not my native language, I did not think this could be offensive, I thought "in Greek" when I wrote my comment. Sorry again. -
She was amazing, I would definitely watch a spin off with Deer Lady

I also watched the Three Pines episodes... which is why I stopped watching this one when I realized what it was about.. I just could not cope with it.. edited to add: ok, I somehow managed to watch it, I skipped most of the school scenes though.. this was hard to watch.
