  1. I don't recall anybody ever saying anything about his side of the family. It would be interesting to know the basics about them!
  2. Things would've been fine if Hetty hadn't put her 2 cents in about the money! I liked Isaac and Nigel's excitement about going to smell the cakes. Didn't Isaac say that he hopes Nigel will come around to the carrot cake? Their rapport is so sweet.
  3. Having just watched the reunion, it bugged me again watching the replay that AnneMarie tried to school Sutton on her esophageal issue. AnneMarie said that when one has a stricture, they need to chew their food up more. WTF? Certain foods get stuck no matter how much you cut them up and/or chew them more, that's why those of us with this issue avoid the foods that give us the most trouble. Argh! She should only give helpful advice on things she actually knows. Dorit keeps saying how she needs "to learn" in regard to some of the hurtful things she said to others. How many years have we been hearing that line? Sometimes she should just shut her mouth and listen. Kyle seems to have lots of best friends, but she acts like nobody is ever there for her. I think it would be exhausting to be her friend. Not everybody has that many friends and/or relatives they can count on, so I get tired of hearing her boo hoo over every single issue in her life, although the loss of the best, best friend by suicide is terrible and I feel bad about that particular situation. The outfits for the reunion, as usual, are tacky and over-the-top, except for Sutton's. I kind of like Crystal's too. They all look like decorations for a Christmas tree.
  4. It is Sheldon, and he thinks the world revolves around him, so he probably didn't even consider for a second that the train would dare leave without him on it!! :)
  5. Sam mentioned how her friend's bachelorette party will be moved to the Spring, so that'll be a good excuse for Rose to possibly be absent for a few episodes. Not sure how her pregnancy is timed with a future hiatus of the show.
  6. Respectfully, I didn't mean that snoring in itself is funny, but it was funny how Annie Potts & Craig T. Nelson played that scene. I'm going to assume that many of us can relate to that scene in one way or another! FWIW, Mr. Chat snored for years until he started using a CPAP machine, so I understand how annoying snoring is. ;)
  7. They've probably watched enough TV by now to have seen that played out on a few shows!! I love this show!
  8. If it wasn't CGI, it looked like her face was pulled back too tight. Can't they do that temporarily with tape? Seems like I've seen that discussed somewhere. Her bottom lip was really thin in her younger self, so that's what made me think they pulled her cheeks back. It was probably CGI though.
  9. That option was easier for him to deal with than her having an actual boyfriend! I would be okay with that. I'm glad that YS portrayed George in a better light than what it did on TBBT. I'm also glad that they're getting away from Mary & George fighting all of the time. It was getting too depressing. The final scene with Connie snoring and Dale farting while the fan blew the smell away from Connie was hilarious! That's real life there, folks!! :)
  10. It was nice to see them not fighting for a change!
  11. Being short, I am most comfortable with the TV being at eye level. I wonder about TVs being hung over fireplaces. I wouldn't think it would be too good for the electronics to be so close to the heat, but maybe it doesn't affect them. It must not be a problem otherwise people wouldn't be hanging them up there!
  12. There were 2 houses close to the beach. They took the one with the indoor kitchen that was super close to the beach. The sister drove me nuts because she thought the only place she could meet people that she could talk to was in the first city they looked at. Her brother was right though. She's going to have to jump in and immerse herself in the culture and learn the language. She admitted that he was right and was happy with their choice. I can't imagine my main kitchen being outside like that, so I wouldn't have chosen that either. Can you imagine the bugs and such that would be attracted to the smell of cooking food? As much as I loved the chalet (but not the husband's constant whining about Swiss charm), the commute was a deal breaker, and the danger for her when there's a lot of snow on the ground had to be a huge consideration. The modern house was nice, and if he wants Swiss charm, just look out the damn window and enjoy the Alps!! Yeah, it looked weird. I was thinking of 2 big boobs, but reading your post made me rethink my original impression!!!
  13. I think she addressed this with the ghosts at one point because they were being so demanding. That would be mentally draining to have ghosts following you around and constantly needing your attention, much like children do! Then she has to repeat everything to Jay whenever he's in the room. I'd be exhausted!
  14. Maybe he wasn't sure if Jay would be okay with it. Up until Jay & Sam moved in, nobody was interacting with the ghosts, so Sass could use his power however he wanted. Sass can be a little sassy and was enjoying his ghost power, but now he sees how he can hurt people, so maybe he'll use his powers more wisely. The way this unfolded, Jay can now appreciate it whenever Sass visits him in his dreams. I was thinking the same thing! It would help Jay feel closer to the ghosts if he knew more about them. It would be nice if Sass met up with Jay in his dreams maybe once a week or so. Those conversations would be fun to hear. This is a whole other avenue for the writers of the show!
  15. I just watched the show. I'm glad that they didn't let Hannah lay there and burn up with the building, but being pinned under that concrete should've crushed her pelvic & leg bones. Her sitting up in the ambulance and chatting it up with Ben got an eye roll from me. She should've been writhing in pain. Ben & Jeffrey running in and out of a burning building was another eye roll moment too (not to mention how they made their way down the outside of the building). I guess I just have to suspend disbelief in those instances. I'm not really sure how I wanted it to end, but I felt a little let down by it. I'm glad that Ben & Addison didn't switch places. Maybe it'll be okay if they're together in their leaps. I'm still kind of meh on the show, but I'll continue to watch it. I'd prefer not to be hit over the head with social issues. They got a little heavy-handed in that department this past season.
  16. She joked about how LVPs parties are all about herself. She was making little digs while the party planner (Kevin?), who helped LVP, was doing a walk-through of SoFi field. He wanted to put Kyle's name on the dance floor (which he did), but she didn't want that, hence the dig at LVP being all about herself. That's the pot calling the kettle black! She might've said something else, but I've already forgotten it! I agree. Maybe she thought they'd just gloss over it and the girls wouldn't understand, but the look on the older one's face said it all. Basically, a WTF moment for her and her sisters. Everything they thought about their family that was real came to a screeching halt. That was a terrible moment for them.
  17. Chevette, aka the "shove it!" Aww, good times! I enjoyed seeing Georgie as the "tire whisperer!" I hope they'll head in that direction soon.
  18. Mine was no luxury vehicle! It was a Chevette that was a bank repo for $600. The previous owner put a hand-crank window in as the sunroof! 😄 Kudos to her for stepping up, but it didn't take very long for her to realize how much work goes into running a household! She ran out of steam about day 3.
  19. That's what my life was like growing up in the 60's & 70's. I paid my parents back for my first car and had to pay the insurance. Like other teens, I had the usual household chores in addition to babysitting & mowing lawns. I wouldn't trade those times for anything! I watched the preview for the next episode on YouTube, and he does speak German quite well (as we would expect!!)
  20. She's done it a few times and it makes me mad when she does that to Jay, but I still like her character. It's like having the Devil on one shoulder tempting you, while you wrestle with doing the right thing. She needs to work on that!!
  21. It's like them being able to have sex with each other, it doesn't make sense! I don't mind them taking a few liberties in this regard though. It keeps things interesting.
  22. If it was revealed, I've already forgotten! I don't think they did though.
  23. I really liked this episode! It's good to have it back. I'm happy that they filled us in on Sass's ghostly power. That was a good one! Poor Pete, he still has sleep apnea! Sleeping on his back is really bad for that as the jaw tends to drop down and block the airway. He can't lay on his side with the arrow through his neck. That is truly hell!
  24. Those poor girls looked so dazed and confused. Kyle & Mo need to be completely honest with them. Mo was shaking his head when Kyle was glossing over the living situation. What a mess. Kyle tells Erika that the separation had nothing to do with anybody else, but then tells the producer that her trust in Mo is gone. I wish they'd just come clean about the whole thing.
  25. For me, it's just so over-the-top. Some of them are trying so hard to be some kind of big, power players in their little world, and I know I should be impressed by them having their party at SoFi stadium, but I'm not. I'm glad that other posters liked it though!
