  1. That's how I feel. There was a lot going on! I could've watched a whole episode about Pete's vacation adventure!! The ghost grabbing Isaac freaked me out a little bit!
  2. I agree. I hope that the new show is successful, but I'm going to watch with one eye open! I don't expect much. Mandy is rather unpleasant, and I blame that on her relationship with her mother. I hate seeing them bicker all of the time, just like I hated the potential of George cheating on Mary, and her flirtation with youth pastor Rob. This show lost its way, then kind of got back on track, and then veered off again while focusing on a spin-off. It's not fair to the other characters. I also dislike that MeeMaw is now a felon.
  3. Maybe she heard Pete tell Flower which direction to go when he was instructing her to go through the dirt to the basement (before they rescued Flower). Seemed like there was a lot going on in this episode. All this buildup to the wedding, and then that didn't happen. It was a little bit of a let-down because of the hype. I was more interested in Pete's vacation!
  4. That's what I've said with almost every single episode this season. They really know how to drag things out!! Just get to the point already!!
  5. That sounds right! I remember her sounding sarcastic when she said that she got the TV! That was a terrible price to pay for it. I avoid big stores on Black Friday in case of some freak stampede!
  6. The big TV box protected her from the actual marks from their shoes, and she suffocated under the weight of it all. That's a bad way to go!
  7. That's an interesting thought. Now I wonder if there are limitations to his power and if he can only go so far, or if he can only be gone for so long. He might start out on his journey just to get sucked back home. Hmm. I don't think they'll have time to delve into the specifics of it this season though.
  8. I'm glad that Dr. Sturgis & Dr. Linkletter came clean with Sheldon about their motives and did what was best for him. It was interesting that they didn't breathe a big sigh of relief that he will be moving on. They were rather poignant about it. As much as he was a thorn in their side, I think they actually liked it when he challenged them academically. I loved how Mary & George worked as a team when interviewing all of the college prospects. They made a good team!
  9. People recently went nuts over those pink Stanley cups! It's not worth risking life or limb over! When my son was growing up, the rule for Christmas presents was that whatever he asked for had to be easily attainable, and that I would never, ever, sit in a line overnight just to be one of the first in line to get whatever new toy/gaming system was coming out!
  10. Crazy things happen in department stores! Remember the cabbage patch dolls craze? Women went nuts getting their hands on those things. Then there's the Black Friday sales. Those have gotten so bad that some stores have to let people in a few at a time so as to avoid the mob rushing in! Nothing would surprise me about what happened at the DealMart! 😉
  11. Either commercials or Jay has brought Sonic food home and all of the ghosts got to smell it!
  12. This reminded me of when I asked my son something similar about a math class he was taking. I didn't know what the title of the course even meant, so I told him to dumb it down and he sighed and simply said, " really hard math." 😄 I think it's a little bit of all of these. She has slowly seen how Sheldon is becoming more independent, and I think she knows that to keep him home is really detrimental to him, and it would be unfair to stifle him academically. Also, I liken it to when your teenager starts driving a car. The first couple of years are full of anxiety, but over time you get used to it. You don't necessarily like it, but the anxiety lessens, and you get more used to it. Mary has had some time to get used to this change, and although she will still have worries and won't like it, she is ready to let him go off to college. I'm so glad that they course-corrected this show away from George having an affair to someone quite likeable (as he was at the beginning of the show) and quite capable of handling certain things for Sheldon. I'm also happy that Mary followed his lead in the interviewing process.
  13. The Breen look better with their helmets left on! The women probably don't look much better. Rather lizard-looking to me.
  14. I could've done without the Thor/Flower/Nancy storyline and watched a whole episode of Pete navigating around the city!
  15. Or just skip it altogether! It's those kinds of storylines that bog this show down. I'm sticking with the show just to see how it ends, but I won't miss it once it's done. And please don't have a Captain say "let's fly" ever again! I mean, "let's fly" as we're getting tractor-beamed out of a wormhole? (I think that's when she said it). Seriously? How about, 'get us the eff out of here!'
  16. She'll tell Pete that she did and he's naive enough to believe her! He's very trusting. Although the ghosts want Pete to travel and tell them about his adventures, this could backfire on him, and they could become resentful. Some people can only handle so much good happening to someone else before they get jealous and resentful. That sounds terrible, but sadly, that's the way some people are.
  17. How awful to be stuck walking around carrying a big screen TV! Next time I'm at the store and forget what I went in for, I'm going to think of the ghost from this episode! I'm not real thrilled about the throuple, but like Alberta, it's going to be a train wreck so hopefully it won't last long.
  18. I agree, but they probably assumed that Pete would stay by Jay's side. What could go wrong? 🤣 I don't recall them saying what happened to them, just that they like to fight.
  19. Amen to that! Feelings, blah, blah, feelings.... Again, just get to the damn point! And of course, Michael saves the day!!
  20. Does anybody know just how big the property is surrounding the mansion? When you think about it, there have been quite a number of people who have died on that property! It would be interesting for Sass, Thor & Isaac to have Sam write down all of the ghosts they have encountered over the years.
  21. Looks like fun! (This really doesn't need a spoiler tag, but I'm being extra careful!) 😉
  22. Sam & Jay definitely breathed new life into the mansion! It's nice that she can talk to the ghosts too and is a great encouragement to them. Since the episode where we learned that Sass can enter people's dreams, I wonder if he could pull other ghosts into his shared dreams so that Jay could see them all. It probably doesn't work that way, but I think that would be nice for Jay. I chalk that up to either they haven't completely come to terms with something, or maybe they have some hesitancy about being sucked off. Hetty could be concerned because she committed some crimes (as she said in this episode), that she might end up where Elias is, and we don't really know what things the other ghosts did in their past that they're worried about. For Hetty, I think that her revelation is just the beginning of her coming to terms with her life.
  23. I think it was a great teaser for the next episode. Now I can't wait to find out the 'who, what, when & where' of Pete's ability!!
  24. In a previous episode, Thor kept talking about a "land ship" in the driveway. One of the ghosts pointed out to him that he knows what a car is, but he insists on calling it a land ship anyway. So yes, I think he's screwing with us!!
  25. Sorry about that, but because it was at the end of this episode, I thought it was fair game for discussion. I'm surprised that you missed it! ;) I'll be sure and hide any info like that in the future.
