I think that they are since they mention it in their Q&As. Most recently when they first got Fenna they were talking about their schedule with her; taking her to training etc and mentioned therapy as part of that week's schedule. I know many maybe even most find going barefoot in public gross but there are a few who have no problem with it. I prefer being barefoot and was most of the time when I was a child (and into adulthood). Though I wear shoes in public places I would take them off when trying on clothes and leave the dressing room barefoot to show someone.

That was a nice update. They do really seem to be fond of her. Glad Derick's mom got a larger kennel for Fenna which will help with lots of indoor problems. They really seem to patient with her and are not getting too bent out of shape with her typical puppy destruction. She is a very smart girl so if they continue with positive training and problem solving she will be a great family member. I could have used less Israel cam but he was so proud to be the cameraman it was sweet.

Joy and Austin: This One Time At Family Camp

I am not mad at Hilary for posting on this and other Duggar sites. I am not a parent but I imagine it would be encouraging to see her positive comments. It is more than the Duggar kids get from their Duggar grandparents. -
First thing I noticed but since he is not an adolescent I figured it was innocent. I am sure he will love that picture when he sees it in his young adult years. We all have those funny and/or embarrassing pictures. Glad Jill is ok with it instead of making a big deal out of it.

I am happy for Israel that his birthday is all about him. It was cute how he wanted to be at school on time so he could hear his birthday announcement and also funny she made a joke about him being like Uncle Josiah milking his birthday. Glad she still has a good relationship with some of her sibs. They did have her at their daughter's birth and made a point of saying so on the show so I guess they continue to be ok. As painful as it must be to be estranged from her parents, it is the best thing that for her and her kids.

At least Jennifer's dress is nicer than the prairie dresses she has been wearing. As for her clothes and shoes, I think there are probably not many of the "girls closet clothes" and shoes that fit her. She is pretty tall for her age and though not fat she is not thin as most of the girls were and her shoe size may be larger too though none of them ever seemed to have nice shoes. I wish they would buy some clothes specifically for her that are flattering. Or maybe Jill could hook her up with nicer clothes.

Joe & Kendra: Looking Forward To Side Hugs

Wasn't it Justin (yes, there is a Justin) who wanted to be a mechanic/ preacher and Caldwell was mentoring him? There was a scene where they were working on a car together. They made it seem like Justin was a mechanic savant. -
Not understanding the issue with calling your dog (pet) girl or boy, anyone who has had a beloved pet dog/cat etc. has referred to them as my girl or boy. Also she said graduating from obedience class which is probably a class she or Dereck attend with her. I have taken many classes with my dogs. I train them with the help of (a positive only) trainer. Also the whole alpha dog thing is a myth, check out the latest research. They all look happy together. To quote Jill "Yay". I finally watched the Q&A video and even though I do not agree with Jill's young earth thing at least she feels comfortable disagreeing with Derick and he was ok with it as well. I hope she will continue to assert herself but also educate herself more.

As already mentioned the production values were so bad, everything about it. Lighting, make up, it was disjointed. The whole Easter timing was unbelievable. So many MIA for the "special". More of Anna and she didn't look so good. Meredith is really cute. They have done lots of sucky episodes but this one takes the cake which makes me think maybe it was a "duggar production". I forgot to look at the credits.
-
We all know the baby came long before Easter. Why are they pretending it is Easter? Is it a sin for them to lie about the date? They better pray for forgiveness and update their testimonies.
-
Well that felt awkward. I wonder if JD and Abbie did not give a testimony or if theirs didn't make the cut. Maybe they weren't sinful enough. Or maybe they talked about love instead of what awful sinners they were. How would anyone feel uplifted by any of those testimonies or want to have that experience or relationship? ugh

I am not a fan of the 2 hour one person show either. I kind of liked this one. He only had one really angry reaction. His family did say that his wife had been able to keep his hoarding tendencies from getting out of control until she got sick. His bigger problem seemed to be a shopping addition which resulted in the clean hoard. He did pretty good getting rid of things once he got started so his problem of shopping has to be addressed. Wasn't most of his hoard clothes and books? He seemed smart and insightful but as others said probably good at manipulating but I do believe his grief was real and contributed to and accelerated his addiction and hoarding. I was just glad to see a hoarder who was not totally unlikable and hateful. I agree with others thinking it might be best for him to move from "their" home and start new in smaller place and a community that would bring him more social interaction. He might do ok with the right therapy and environment. Or he might just keeping shopping until he has no more credit or resources.

Yeah, I have to keep reminding myself of this. It just seemed their pup really wanted to be in the house. I imagine outdoor dogs are more abundant in that area. My sister had a chow mix that hated being inside so they eventually built a large pen are for him with a dog house and he was so happy. I am biased since my last 4 dogs have been goldens from a golden retriever rescue. Goldens really need to be with their people which why that rescue would not adopt dogs out to anyone who would make them outdoor pets. I could never imagine leaving my dog outside overnight, she and all my goldens wanted to be with me 24/7. I will try to not worry about the Dillard puppy and know that is is ok even if it is not the choice I would make. At least they did consult with vet about her care and what they were doing right and wrong.

I am so disappointed that they have a dog house and it appears want her to sleep there (unless I misunderstood). She said to go to their family page and comment but the page won't load, I have been there before. I wanted to nicely tell her what a horrible mistake that is. I realize many people have outdoor dogs and they live ok lives, when I was a kid the only dogs we had were my dad's beagles and they lived in an outside kennel, they were not family pets but my dad's hunting partners. He would take them out several times a week just to run and follow trails for miles. I however have had dogs since 1983 and they have all been my family and indoors. I made so many mistakes with my first dog so I understand how the Dillards may be making bad decisions, I don't think it is malicious but rather ignorance. She is a very sweet dog and obviously wants to be with them and once she is out of puppy stage and can be trusted she will probably be a good family pet. I hope that someone else has suggested to them that sleeping outdoors is a bad idea, she has already tried to dig out and she may even be able to jump the fence. I volunteer with a rescue and we will not place a dog in home that will have their dog as an outdoor dog, nor even if they would leave their dog outdoors when they are not home. Too many bad things can happen to them, escape, stolen, get hurt, etc. I wish I could communicate this to her as her examples of pet care have been from her family. So Jana has dog that she seems to take pretty good care of and it has been around for a while. I wonder if that dog is indoors at night? Sorry, this really bothered. I have a little of a soft spot for Jill because I do think she is trying do right and I want to cheer her on as she moves away from Gothardism.

I saw it speculated that might be Stephen's sister Hannah. I think there have been pictures of them together when he was flying her and someone else somewhere. -

Seems the Sun has has joined in on the speculations. They did ask him about it. He is busy working. -
I am happy for the boys and the whole family because I love dogs and as a single act have had a dog/s since 1983. They are really lucky, that is a really great pup. Given they are first time dog owners they are going pretty good. I could critique a few things but so could I have been with my first dog. They all are involved and I think Derick might be as happy as the boys. I really hope it works out as dogs can teach them and the boys so much. Given Derick is not so much into the Duggar way the dog stands a better chance. Them having a dog makes me think of Jill's buddy Jenni who loved animals and wanted to be a vet. I so hope she can break away from her family and do more than get married and have babies.

He is probably doing it in hopes that Jinger will follow suit and stop pronouncing words ending in Gs in that weird Duggar way. Seriously, why do they do that?

So what company would take on the liability of allowing a toddler on their zip lines (and in the future skydiving)? There has to be laws/regulations against that. I want to report them. That is double dumb asses, parents and businesses. -
Jill, shouldn't you be shilling your sister and BIL's book? You know the break out stars of CO: Jill and Jessa.
-
I don't know if they were invited or not. You would think Jessa would know if she fibbed about them being invited Derick would say they weren't on social media. I do think they are far more cautious than the rest of the family because of Cathy and also I am sure Derick does not want to take chances of messing up his last year of law school by taking chances getting sick. So even if they are not as careful as I am I do think they would not want to be thrown into the Duggar petrie dish. Just too many people who have been too many places.

I just looked at some of it again and when I think Gideon was opening a gift and Joy? told him it was from Sam Sam. It was a toy computer. Jill was also shown on the phone when Jenny was putting on a hat, I assume Jill gave her. That was a madhouse but none of them seem to be notice. I would be running out of there after 10 minutes or less. Now about Santa. When did the Duggars start doing Santa? On Jill & Dericks last Q&A they talked about Santa and Jill said there was no Santa when they were growing up, which would have been easy since they were isolated and no public school.
