I wouldn't bet on that. I'm sure it's temporary. Which is what they need.

I just found out the whole series is streaming on Amazon Prime and Peacock. Also the reboot that has been worked on since pre covid but has never made it past pilot may actually go to series.

Yeah, they spent enough time on that to make it clear. For me, Orville season 2 picked things up for me a notch in storytelling. Season 3 is feeling more like season 1 in that its just a show I enjoy watching. But, I'm not mad at that. I don't really give a damn about Star Trek one way or the other so I bring none of that baggage in here. I enjoy Seth in the role. He's just playing it straight. That's all I want from him.

On my replacement cable set up Philo (it's like youtube TV, Hulu plus, etc. Only 20 dollars a month) they are indeed dropping 2 episodes a week on vod the night it would have normally aired. Oddly no commercials. Those types of sites like shvideos don't work for me. I don't spend a lot of times watching things on my phone or laptop.

Yeah, they probably dont know. Kingo would probably be huge to them. His whole "family". Especially current era Kingo who I'm sure also found a way to crossover to in America. If people are talking about other people in the mcu throughout projects all I ask is that it makes sense to the characters/show. What I found annoying was stuff like the Daredevil series where they randomly bring up stuff like "the event" or "the green guy" for a second. It felt so tacked on not realistic to people in world where you saw an alien invasion being fought off by superheroes. Even if you were one yourself. You would probably be more intrigued.

This is like being annoyed that a teenager is talking about Stranger Things, Beyoncé or something. In this world, you probably can't get more popular or important than the Avengers. Of course, people talk about them. It would be nonsense if they didn't. It's also funny, I barely notice any of these references you are throwing out. I'm sure it's because they come out in general conversations. Like....real life. I can barely go on the internet and not see something marvel related. Everyday when I go to work, they are usually brought up in some context. Imagine living in a world where the avengers are actually doing this shit and we are living in it. Who cares about anything else?

You and many other women. For me, this was our family on Thursday night. Martin, Living Single and Undercover. It's honestly the first drama I watched on a regular basis. When it was airing. Week to week.

Finally this show is back in syndication. It airs on Friday Nights. 8 to 10 o clock eastern time on BET. I've been loving the rewatch. This Dick Wolf produced cop drama featured a African American and Latino lead for the first time on broadcast television. It went three seasons until network meddling and contract disputes led to a rebooted 4th season that most people hate. It had tons on contemporary music that makes it damn near impossible to hit a streaming platform. The show was very topical. I always look at it as the Miami Vice of the 90s. Anyway, who's rewatching now? Who was watching at the time? Let's dish.

I use Philo. 20 dollars a month. 16 for me since I've been with them since before they upped the charge. My dvr recorded up until ep 16 which was the first Dinner party with the three new couples. I see that the next two episodes are on vod since this past friday at midnight. I got lucky earlier this year. Most of the season was youtube. I watched all up until that final getaway they always do. I'll keep an eye on if more episodes are added. Domenica being in everyone's business and this constant judgment against men for not being emotionless robots are by far the worst parts of this season. That and how the show failed Holly.

Yes, well I suppose that's possible for all the butts that we've seen on this show, but somehow I just have to believe that no butt doubles were necessary for any of them. The whole body double thing is much more common for women anyway. I'm not saying men don't use body doubles. It's just more rare.

As per usual, I always like to point out that the show keeps the same energy for everyone. Shit, SuperSonic literally existed to further Starlight's arc through his death. People die in tv shows. On this show, people die a lot. It's not really a gender thing. I thought it was superspeed at first. But, I don't think how they filmed it is the issue looking back. It was more about how little distance there was to MM for me. Either way, they were trying demonstrate a blur effect in the path Hughie looked through. That's going to end up looking like speed and teleportation. I think that's why using a puff a smoke to illustrate the disappearance like with Nightcrawler in the X Men works better. It will be...by The Boys. Why would they give a shit? Especially MM and Butcher.

I honestly didn't think A Train was going to snitch. I thought he might of finally been fed up. I'm bummed I was wrong.

Because he's possibly 24 he should be out of the house. Ha. That's cute. Especially in 2022. Your age doesn't determine when you can or are ready to move out. Different families and cultures do things differently anyway. I've already seen confusion lobbied at the Kamala vs parents for being so tame but obviously for her culture and family, this was a big deal.

Kate Bishop was a fan of Hawkeye and now she's the new Hawkeye. What I think MCU is doing right now is showing our avengers inspiring a new generation. Black Widow inspires her sister Yelena Hawkeye with Kate Bishop RiRi is coming and is inspired by Tony Stark Ant Man inspires his daughter Cap inspired Falcon as the new Captain America I'm sure one day we will see a young Miles Morales inspired by Parker I like the hook.

I'm interested in why you have this viewpoint. Damn near every superhero before being thrust into their power seem like the right choice to be a hero for one reason or another. Kamala is also creative, bright, likes to plan, has shown she can step up and protect. She's going to have to grow and learn to be hero like every other hero.

I don't think that matters in this case. But, I'm moving on.

You can reach the prostate both ways.

This is season 3. You didn't watch the pilot. You watched the season opener of a series two seasons in. Thus, episode was more about table setting and establishing where everyone was in their lives. Not really an episode meant to judge to harshly. It also had some amazing scenes and character work so I would of called it quality tv regardless. Season openers and pilot episodes always deserve a bit more slack to be given. They aren't the best way to measure week to week quality of a show.

I mean, they did literally spell out why she was looking at the kids later on. She also can't verbalize her feelings as much so looks and reading her expressions are just kind of common for her. But...I love that are we getting more of more of how she is feeling. She is very emotive without being able to say anything. I kind of want to see her get out of this crusade but she is one of the best chances they have to combat Vought and the rest.

It's not just you. I just thought it was very clear.
-
I'm really surprised at how many people thought it was his ass and not his dick hole. I mean the way they shot it, showed you where he jumped into. I guess people got confused because he was trying to go in Frenchie's ass.
-
That's not how lust works.

The amount of mileage the sexuality of the characters have gotten when its such a small small part of the show is humorous to me. Especially when one of the characters sexuality is still not known yet. It's just...a lot. There is so much more going on here and many more interesting conversations to be had.

I still find Kelly exhausting regardless. And people literally leaving right at the end between Becky, David and now Kelly is getting played out. It's one more day and we have to get this grand exit before they are all leaving anyway.

It's also two different age groups. One younger one older. Two different perspectives. I'm one for calling out Netflix shoving LGBT characters into every show featuring teens. And I don't mean that to sound negative. It just feels kind of like checking off boxes at times. Not always organic. But, Stranger Things has been more nuanced and thoughtful about it.
