I feel the same way. This is why I have no problem with no Iris/Caitlin friendship. I'm not gonna complain about that, I'm just gonna be grateful for it.

Cecile actually got more screen time than both Caitlin and Iris, but it didn't seems/feel that way while I was watching the episode. I felt like Caitlin/KF was the one among the ladies getting the most screen time when she only got 5 minutes, half of what Iris and Cecile got. This is what happens when your screen time seems like a huge waste because it doesn't bring anything to the table vs others who seems to be adding something. The writers really don't seem to know wtf to do with Caitlin/KF. I used to blame the writers lost of passion for the show for the bad writing of Caitlin/KF but now with Wallace, it seems like he has passion for writing for the show. It shows in the way he is writing most of the characters, but the same problem still exist with Caitline/KF. Now, I'm really starting to think that DP contracts might have include certain perks or TPTB over at CW, that requires writers to give her character screen times even when they don't know wtf to do with her. That might be why they refuse to make her a true villain because it would be harder to give her screen time if she isn't part of team Flash. I mean after all these behind the scenes changes with writers/producers, but Caitlin/KF still seems to get storylines after storylines ( almost a repeat of each other seasons after seasons) just to give her screen time while the writing stay being terrible for her. I'm starting to wonder and reconsider certain people's theory about what is going behind the scenes.

I hate that some WA fans are feeding into this stupidity. Like if the writers think that Snowbarry fans can so easily be baited like this, in an episode where Barry cries out for Iris, tells her that he would willingly die if it means keeping her alive....then it is really not worth it to argue or debate them. It is sad and funny and since I'm not kind enough to feel sorry for them, I will laugh.

I don't see him mouth Cisco. Honestly, I think the only reason people are "debating" this is because the SnowBarry fans are gloating about him mentioning only Caitlin beside Iris, and using it to claim Snowbarry is "coming" which I find hilarious, lmao. There is having hope and then there is delusion. After watching how much, how deeply, desperately, unconditionally and totally Barry loves Iris, I can't imagine loving a character, not name Iris, and wanting them to be with Barry on the show. In fanfiction, sure, but on the show ? Never.

I didn't notice but base on how hard some fans/haters were going at her regarding her weight on social media, especially on twitter/Tumblr , some even claimed she was pregnant, I wouldn't be surprise if this is the result.

I don't miss him at all. If it was up to me, he would stay gone. I know the minute he appears, the other characters beside Cisco, usually become stupid.

And I really love that this conversations is being done only between Iris/Barry. This is what I have wanted in the past recent seasons, because it is showing us the type of relationship these two have, instead of telling us.

They didn't have to copy and past the poster, if it was going to be end-up like this. Some editing and reconfiguring would have made sure all the characters could be seen. The person who handled this account just didn't care to put in the work.

Wallace surprise me here, because I expected Barry would be training KF and Ralph, not Cisco. I am happy to be proven wrong.

I will have more to say but first let me just say that I really, really appreciate a writer who understands that Iris/Barry are a unit outside of the Flash family, therefore, there are certains things/scenes that should just be them. It shouldn't include of all team Flash.

I hope he means they are going into S6 with the enthusiasm and passion for the characters/show/storylines, not that he will ignore what has happened in the past seasons.

This is why I said I understand why she was pushing for Barry/Caitlin, despite the fact that I didn't like it and the way she did it rubbed me the wrong. Every actor wants their characters to be involved with characters who will give them more screen time, more stories , and more exposure as actors. So I get it.

I know DP rejected the possibility of Cisco/Caitlin but I think it was because she was pushing for Barry/Caitlin at the time. Now, with almost no possibility of that happening( I understand why she wanted that, despite disliking it), she might be more open to Cisco. But either way, I'm not going to assume/assign motive to her reason, also she rejected the possibility of Caitlin/Ralph. I think the "whiteness" aspect is more connected to the fandom, than to DP, base on what I have seen.

I think people were assuming this because history have shown that whenever the writers link Caitlin to a man who isn't related to her, they usually make it romantic. At this point I don't want to see her romantically involved with any man unless the writers are willing to make it a long-term relationship, not a seasonally one. Base on the writing, it would make sense for them to put her with Cisco, but as someone who likes Cisco, I don't want that.

I agree about Ralph. Base on the review, I think Caitlin/Iris share the episodes, but are not part of each others stories . Which I'm happy about because Iris is never written with a real pov in those situations.

Thanks for this because it dropped my expectations and excitement way down. The premiere episode should have been focus on Barry or Barry /Iris, after the way the seaon ended. Base on the interviews, I have been getting the feeling Wallace was going to try to bring KF more into the fold of TF, make her more of a member than a stunt character. But this isn't the way to do it.

I'm starting to hate Wallace because I don't want to be excited or have good expectations for The Flash cause they have usually disappointed me. But he is making it very, very hard for me not to. I need the first episode of S6 to air already so it can slap down my expectations/excitement as usually.

No wonder reporters always ask questions about Iris, I just check this link and every other question was an Iris question. I love how hard Iris fans go for her.

I think they are hopping we will forget/ignore all of this and just think about the fact that a child lost her parent. Honestly, because I'm indifferent towards KF/Caitlin and have come to expect/accept this crapping writing for her and other characters, I'm going to go along with their gaslighting writing.

Iris does more than shoot a gun, which would still be in the action category. But anyway, maybe it is because the writers seems to take more care in Iris' fight sequences ( maybe because Iris is human, and they want to make it look as believable as possible) than KF and most of the time they make sure we see that the fights are not easy for Iris to win, but she manages to win, one wau or another. While at the same time, KF fights are mostly a sequence of her coming in, throwing a few icicles and then the bad guy throw something that send her flat on her back and that is the end of the fight. That's why to me, it seems like the writers write Iris more as the action female than KF. KF seems to be more of comic plot-point when it comes to her fight scenes.

On screen, they write Iris as an action female, more than KF/Caitlin. They keep having KF show-up in fighting situations but being put down quickly and easily. I'm indifferent to KF/Caitlin but I find it really frustrating that they keep doing that to the character because it is so stupid and I dislike stupidity. As for liking Danielle, I don't know, so I have no comment on that.
