"You see, my interests run the gambit from full-auto firearm conversions to the sovereign citizen movement."
No, no, they don't. Even if you didn't kill Clive's friends, you just murdered the language.
I would say I treasure Endeavour because of the call-outs to Morse. I watched Morse in real time many years ago. I have to say I may have gotten something in my eye when John Thaw appeared in the rear view mirror in the first episode.
What a wonderful choice to end the summer with - the truly timeless Morse universe! Thanks for spreading the word - maybe we can get a public outcry to continue Hathaway somehow. I'm not sure if I prefer this or Endeavour, but I've seen every episode of all the series. I even have two CD's of the Barrington Pheloung theme music from the original. I might have a problem...
I can't decide whether to be excited or full of dread. The original movie was so very good - I don't want to feel like it's ruined for me. My DH wants to rewatch it before the show starts, but I'm not convinced that would be a good idea!
On the Ham radio question, my DH still has an operator's license and works with a group of guys who do disaster relief work providing emergency communications after natural disasters. Ham is surprisingly still relevant.
I think the title might be an oddly worded reference to the saying, "red sky at morning, sailor take warning," but that's only my best guess. They would be implying that a storm is coming? (As if they weren't in the middle of a storm from Day 1 on the ground.)
