I'm so glad they increased the age limit. A friend of mine had cervical cancer (not sure if it was related). She's a millennial like me. Fortunately she got it treated and seems well now.

I'm surprised they didn't wait for or get a paid announcement for #2 like Joe and Kendra. Maybe they're breaking away from the show? Also JB and Michelle congratulated her without saying what number this furture grandchild will be. Hopefully this plus Anna is sixteen. At least they told what month she was due. (Ben and Jessa, Joe and Kendra--- hmmm, paid announcements are more vague. Interesting. )

When she got married, Joy said she wanted as many as God will give them. Since her c-section she's been talking more cautiously about having more kids. I thought she and Austin did a better job than Jill and Derick about her c-section. (Austin said something about the health of mother and child being the most important). In the US Weekly interview last year with Kendra (who was pregnant with Garrett) and Jinger (pregnant with Felicity), they asked all three about more children. Joy said "Austin and I love children, so we'll see." I'm still nervous for her. Her kids will be closer in age than Israel and Samuel.

Re: Michelle It's less likely that they would do a hysterectomy and more likely they would do some sort of tubal ligation. It's often offered to women with large numbers of children, especially if there are health concerns. (By the time, there are double digits, it's almost a given there are health concerns.)Michelle's history of pre-eclampsia would make it more like likely. It's particularly offered if the woman is having a c-section. As for Jill's siblings helping with the move, they may have been busy that weekend. A lot of them were at Big Sandy, which was this weekend. Anyway moving's a process, and she may have more help this week settling in.

I believe JB and Michelle and their kids go to Kendra's father's church.

Was the home church just JB officiating services in his own home? Didn't they always have a church outside the home?

She was pregnant with #4 when the first scandal broke. Since then they had a boy two years ago and now this pregnancy.

It looks like several of the Duggar bridesmaid dresses, especially the ones for Kendra's wedding. From what I can tell John and Abbie joined a Baptist church, which is a different Baptist church from the one Pastor Caldwell (Kendra's dad) is the pastor. I believe Michelle and JB go to Caldwell's church.

I think there's a window behind the grey chair. You can see an edge of molding. The red thing and the brown thing seem to be makeshift curtains.

Add me to the list of people who are baffled Josh is paid spokesman even if it's just a local fishing store. If it was the other Duggars, it would make sense. Fundies love talking about veterans even if most of them haven't served and won't let their kids serve. Fundies also often love fishing; it's something to do and goes with the 19th century fantasy most of them have. But it could be Joe and Kendra; why Josh and Anna?

The Duggar family says M6 (Josh and Anna's anticipated blessing) will be grandchild #16. They have 12 born grandchildren. Seewald #3 is 13, Joe and Kendra's is #14 and that leaves out #15. I think John David and Abbie are going to have Duggar grandkid #15 and are waiting for some sort of paid announcement in a celebrity gossip magazine (People, Us Weekly, etc.) Why the wait? Two reasons spring to mind: The magazine in question wants to time for their Mothers' Day issue. Or @GeeGolly called it and this is a future triple pregnancy announcement photo and they are waiting until Lauren is farther along (especially after the loss). (That would make John David and Abbie's first #15, M6 #16, and Siren's first #17.)

Maybe it was a Catholic hospital....

I was just about to post this. Although it must be early November if they're already announcing. I don't think they've narrowed down Joe and Kendra's date to a month (although speculation is October).

I wonder if the Maxwells will have a new blog post this weekend.

They can't force someone to have hysterectomy. If they don't listen to medical advice, that would make the hysterectomy even less likely. Jill recently put Psalm 127 on the posts in her house. That's the Quiverfull psalm. I doubt she would have done that if she knew absolutely she couldn't have more kids. She also would have been really depressed if she lost her ability to have kids and she's seemed happier this year than ever.

I don't trust Pickles.

It's M6, and probably not. Either they lost count or someone is waiting to announce with a paid announcement. Pickles claims it's Joy. I think it's more likely Si and Lauren or John and Abbie.

So JB and Michelle commented on the pregnancy announcement and said it's our 16th grandbaby! huh? They have 12 born grandchildren - Josh 5, Jill 2, Jessa 2, Joy 1, Joe 1, Jinger 1. Seewald #3 makes 13. Joe and Kendra #2 makes 14. Either JB and Michelle got it wrong or someone else is pregnant due before Anna and hasn't announced. I'm going with either Abbie or Lauren.

If I could like this post a thousand times, I would. How are JB and Michelle prepared to support 200 grandkids especially if they keep marrying off these super young with little career prospects?

Well it is consistent with her beliefs and Christianity as it's been practiced for thousands of years. This seem pretty tame for Jill.

If this is real, then it's the first marriage where both parties are teens. Josh and Anna were twenty. Jessa married teenage Ben. Austin, Joe, and Si married teen brides. (All of whom were 19.) I still don't entirely believe it. Who is Anne Bates and how does she know the family? That photo was so small it could be anybody in it.
