  1. Totally, I cracked up when the horses slowly started approaching each other but lost it after the both fell off and the horses wondered off.
  2. Hated each other. I freaking loved it, so funny. King Richard and Gareth stole the show.
  3. Vinny Jones and Timothy Omundson are killing it on Galavant, hysterical
  4. Way ahead of you. Only episode I watched after the Succubus was the Abbie episode and I've removed it from the DVR.
  5. Arrow's budget was cut after S1 not the back half of S1...that's unusual. Also Arrow's budget was not cut from S2 to S3 so it's quite probable, it will get cut again for S4. However, if there's something going on at the CW they could cut Arrow (and other show's) back 9 as well.
  6. DocBrown mentioned on Twitter that Flash's 2015 budget waa cut. I'm guessing tjat means for the back 9 order and not S2 (which hasn't been picked up yet). I wonder if Arrow will get te back 9 cut as well or if they'll see a cut for S4?
  7. I think it's interesting that they included Black Canary in a low press/news attention (period) when it was utterly unnecessary to the actual episode description. They tacked it on at the end, which gives it a feel of being unnecessary/unimportant/something you want to be missed/overlooked. If Laurel's debut is something they expect to get huge positive attention/reaction it wouldn't have been tacked on at this point. It would have been proclaimed from on high in the media run-up to 309 or handled in postmortem interviews. Or, they would have waited until they started the media push for the return from winter break 1/19. Instead, run up to 309 press, is MG running as far away from the laurel/canary trilogy as possible. What AJK proclaimed as the Laurel trilogy, is now Malcolm, Roy, Team Arrow episodes and oh yeah Laurel will make some strides towards BC. Instead of waiting until the big media push in 3 weeks it's dropped now, when no one is paying attention...by the time the show comes back it will be old news and (hopefully) no one will care to raise a stink. Rather than announcing it at a point where people can get excited (think Ra's at Big DCTV evet at SDCC) and get maximum press coverage they're hoping to bury it now, so the negative reaction will be negated by time. Now, is that a fact...nope, I have no idea what the CW Promo department is thinking but, it's certainly one interpretation. The other possibility is that they're not trying to bury it to avoid negative reactions. However, they don't think it will benefit them very much or that the audience will actually care about it...not worthy of a grand announcement. To counter this I point to the grand announcement of getting Black Canary at SDCC 2013...and they most definitely promoted Sara/CL as Black Canary back then.
  8. Where do I start? Laurel gets "Black Canary" handed to her for no effing reason but Oliver has to earn Green Arrow...yeah she's not a joke at all. There's no time jump which makes Laurel suiting up even more ridiculous. Lance still doesn't know Sara is dead will he find out when he sees Laurel running around dressed like her sister and using a modified version of her sister's name? So after what 8 weeks of boxing lessons Laurel is going to go out, get her ass handed to her for 3 episodes and then what? Magically become competent?
  9. SA and EBR made a Top Ten List of Comicbook/TV actors. http://comicbook.com/2014/12/26/top-ten-comic-book-tv-show-actors-of-2014/ Grant Gustin is also on the list
  10. I just found out about it too. Figured it was money it's always comes down to $ I'm still really bummed I liked the trio.
  11. Intentional or not, the show has set up a believable scenario where Felicity changes her wardrobe and appearance based on where she is emotionally in life. It's easy to believe that Goth Felicity was rebelling against Donna therefore went the complete opposite of her mother. Dark, edgy, anti-social. After Cooper died, Felicity turned away from hackivism and repressed her emotions. Turning away from who she was in college, going from goth to prep/nerdy. No longer standing out or rebelling from society she's no one of many cogs, hiding in a crowd. Current Felicity has found inner strength and purpose, her clothing is once again calling attention to herself (similar to the goth look) but in the total opposite way. Instead of hiding in the crowd she chooses bright, sometimes sexy clothes. I would be impressed if I actually believes it was remotely intentional.
  12. KC started doing cons at the end of S2 April (Calgary Con) and did several over the summer Motor City, Chicago, the 2 in Australia and she's had several booked since the beginning of S3. The con's are not attached in anyway to the show, these are personal appearances for which she gets paid. I would not read anything into her con appearances other than she's looking to make extra cash.
  13. It is not all BS it is a compilation of existing quotes and 1 mistake, 1 viewers opinion. The Felicity crying was reported by TV Line - that is correct The MG quote about the Lazarus Pit was from another article - that is correct The comment about the ATOM suit, correct in that there is a photo of BR in thr ATOM suit floating around twitter. It is incorrect in assuming that it is legit in that BR confirmed on twitter that it was a fake There is a promo that was released that shows a man in a parka on the mountain looking for (and finding) Oliver's body. The writer is assuming that it's the LoA, which it could be, or it could be MM if Barrowman's comment about filming a scene for 309 on a mountain.
  14. IM3 and CA2 happened at two totally different times. IM3 is during Christmas, CA2 is late spring/early summer in DC (judging by clothing). There is mention of Barton and Stark in CA2. Barton is referenced as being on a mission in Bosnia (or some other country). Stark is targeted in the initial Insight targeting as being at Stark Towers in NYC. As for why Steve didn't call Tony or any other Avenger well Tony did destroy all of his suits at Christmas time, so Steve probably figured Iron Man would be of no help, Thor is either on Asgard or honeymooning in London and Banner is off playing psychiatrist.
  15. Monday is a bad night for The CW but even on Tuesdays it wasn't doing better than TVD. I like The Originals I think it's much better then TVD (currently). However, it just doesn't have the ratings.
  16. The show is still doing well in the ratings it's the 4th highest show on the network. It's also ahead of The Originals in ratings. TVD won't get canceled for ratings, it might end if the holdout (Nina or Ian?) doesn't sign but not due to low ratings.
  17. I was bored last night and decided to give this another try, mostly because Noah Wyle was back. Nowhere near as god awful as the pilot but not very good. Rebecca Romain needs to go, she doesn't fit the tone of the show even as the "straight man" she has no chemistry with any of the other actors/characters. The Australian guy is annoying as all hell and not in the quirky annoying way that usually works (see Cassandra). Cassandra remains the only character I like...I eliminate CK's character because they might as well just call him Eliot, he's a total Leverage clone and while I get that works for Leverage fans it's a major turn off for me because it shows no acting growth or ability in CK (IMO). Evil Cassandra was a little too OTT for me, took it from fun and quirky to badly acted. The only really good aspects of the episode were Matt Frewer and John Laroquette, I'm always impressed by both actors, I never give them enough credit. As for what they were, originally I thought brothers but the departure scene heavily implied lovers. With the "whatever we were" comment and the awkward hug/almost cheek kiss. This would probably be a good show if they got rid of annoying Ausi guy, Rebecca Romain, and centered it around John Laroquette's character with Matt Frewer as his nemesis/frienemy.
  18. Sorry, as a long term X-Men reader, I have to respectfully disagree with you, agree to disagree since this is 14 years too late anyway. I think Kat would be a good choice for younger Storm and hope she gets the role.
  19. Technically Storm is American; she was born in New York City. Her mother was a Kenyan Princess and her father was a photographer/journalist. As for race changing or lightening the color...not really, Storm has very often been drawn as a light skinned character in the comics (compared to Bishop, Luke Cage and T'Challa) looks wise, Halle Berry fit the bill. I think Kat would make a good Storm even if she's too short but honestly, Wolverine is a foot too tall so not that big of a deal.
  20. Feel free to be contrary, I have no problem with that. I don't know that I agree or disagree on a disconnect due to the writers. My point was more about the fact that fans never once thought about Felicity in their speculation, it was only about Oliver. In this speculation, Felicity and Diggle actually aren't even factored in. Laurel, Ray, and Roy take over protecting the city; Oliver hangs up the hood and dates Felicity. No thought is actually ever given to what Diggle does when Oliver hangs up the hood (that I can recall) and Felicity only factors in as the LI.What does that say? What is Feicity, going to do? Where's the speculation on that?
