  1. I'm not sure Shirin was ever after an apology, so much as she was after a somewhat cogent rationale for Will telling her that she has no soul.
  2. Minor point, but I think Kelley Wentworth was in that group of 4, while Stephanie was in a group with Theresa and Peih-Gee.
  3. I don't think Mike danced around it. He answered it how I would have: he regrets going back on making the move he was about to make, but doesn't regret making the move by itself.
  4. I didn't think Stephanie had much of a shot, but her reaction to not getting selected broke my heart. After seeming genuinely shocked that Teresa didn't make it, she looked heartbroken at her own exclusion for half a second and then seemed like she thought she had to immediately compose herself.
  5. I can see why one would feel this way, but I think that had CBS interfered, Natalie (connected to producers via other Survivors, especially Rob) would have made it and Monica (originally from a season where we are supposed to only remember Shambo and Russell) would never have made it.
  6. Jeremy is in. The men who didn't make it are Shane, Troyzan, Jim, Brad, and Max (Mike was ineligible).
  7. I'm (pleasantly) surprised that Peih-Gee, Kimmi, Monica and Kelley Wentworth made it on the next season! I'm really irritated that Terry made it over Shane.
  8. I think this season tied with Caramoan for the least number of players to speak at a reunion. Caramoan: Cochran, Dawn, Brenda, Andrea, Reynold, Malcolm, Phillip Worlds Apart: Mike, Carolyn (barely), Will, Rodney, Dan, Shirin, Joe I so wish Jen had gotten airtime!
  9. Is it just me, or did anybody else see Jenn's eyes bulge when Probst said that the S30 portion of the reunion has to end with Rodney?
  10. Probst handled the Dan portion of this reunion very well, for the amount of time that he got. Having said that, I cringe at the possibility of nobody else not named Mike, Dan, Will, Rodney, or Joe getting to speak at the reunion. How about Shirin for her reaction to the comments? Or Jenn for comedic value?
  11. Jen and Hali would have voted for Rodney in a F3 scenario? Color me shocked.
  12. Dan totally thinks Mike is a goat! His delusion knows no bounds.
  13. Why wouldn't Rodney vote for Carolyn? He seems to have liked her throughout the game and they both voted for each other on this last vote.
  14. So relieved that Carolyn pulled it off! Rodney's exit speech was typical. Now that we have Will (NC), Mike (BC), and Carolyn (WC) in the final three, I have a sneaking suspicion that we are going to continue to see those gimmicky themes when there are three tribes, as this will probably prove to Probst that a representative from each of the three tribes can make it to the end.
  15. Nice acting on Carolyn's part when the third vote for Sierra was read! She was shaking her head when, in actuality, she voted for her as well.
  16. Sierra just totally lost me with her 'deserves to be here' speech.
  17. In the introduction before the recap of the season started, we got voiceovers from one person from each of the collar tribe: something from Carolyn, Rodney, and Vince (who was the second person voted out this season). The editors aren't even pretending that Will is a contender!

    S31: Voting

Given that Cagayan was a recent and overall well-received season, Kass, bringing the drama as the portrayed antithesis of Tasha and Spencer, probably bolstered her chances considerably for this season. And that's not to mention her popularity on RHAP.
  19. I don't care for this version of Will, but Will telling Paul that doesn't mean that Paul has to stay. Paul should have just said "you don't control my actions or movements, so I'm out of here."

    S31: Voting

I'd go a step further and say that Tasha may have been portrayed as the female Terry (good in challenges but sort of aloof and arrogant) from Panama, had Kass not flipped.
