NOOO WHY JIM? My heart was breaking watching Jim cry at the end. I wanted him to dance with Alex sooo badly too. I could just watch Alex dance forever. Jim's solo was incredible. Anya was smoking hot, and I love seeing Dmitry for, uh, reasons. I wish Jaja and Virgil's dance was more hard hitting and grimy, or nastier even. I also miss when stories were not just angsty love stories, or cheating stories, or two girls fighting over the same guy stories. Like Mandy's Table piece, the two princes with Danny and Neil, or even something like (don't hurt me please) Tyce's baseball piece. I really wish the show would have Blake choreograph like on SYTYCD Canada. Yeah it's raunchy, but at least it's different/not boring. Or bring House to the US show. I also miss krumping. Definitely not an every week thing but I enjoyed seeing it. Bring back Lil C :(

Noooo I'm so mad to lose Neptune :( I was so happy to see my boyfriend, er I mean, Paul again, but that Paso Doble was a real stinker. Kinda meh episode. Loved the Tessandra Chavez group and the Luther Brown hip hop though.

Yes. This 100%. Never mind the fact that it was just gross inaccurate stereotypes as usual when it comes to Japan. It's really a shame because I thought it was a great dance, and that they didn't have to be a "geisha" and a "ninja" to make it edgy or exotic or whatever they were going for, the spirit of the dance would've been fine if they said they were just warriors or battling or something. Or they could've just made it about the dance and not have a story at all.

Jaimie is such a beautiful dancer. At least Edson got to go out on a good note. I can't really remember liking anything Derek's danced in, but I feel like he'll be gone next week. Alex freaking Wong <3_<3 Loved the Bollywood. I always get nervous when he's the Bollywood all star though, I have trauma from season 7. I still don't like Jessica. Zack and Lindsay Leuschner from SYTYCD Canada assisted Dee on that routine though! Lovely as always to see Brandon, though when I heard he would be an all star I was convinced he'd be forklifting a disco haha. I felt that Hailee had good acting and charisma in the number but she bobbled a lot of her turns and jumps, maybe because of the heels? I dunno.

She was my favourite from last year! I loved her blog that she had while the show was airing. It showed her personality way better than the show did. Also her POV seemed fresh and different. Thanks for reccing her new site. I'm really not a good cook, but this is actually the kind of food I enjoy eating and want to learn how to make, especially the healthier looking recipes :)

Thank god for Gaby and Neptune and Stacey Tookey because that show was not going too well up to that point. A lot of stinkers tonight. I love Neptune. I want him to win, so naturally he's in the bottom. I am so so happy he was saved though. Sad to lose Yorelis :( Derek looked like the dorkiest Halloween-costume pimp ever. How the hell was he saved? Is it just me, or does Jaja get more and more stunning every week? I completely agree with Jason's critique though. I definitely thought that she had to work on her flexibility last week too with those arabesques. But she still did very well with the choreo. I was not singling you out or addressing you directly in my original post but I have seen MANY posts in this thread blaming Melissa for not monitoring her social media and technology and many reactions like (paraphrasing) "my first question is why did she have those videos in the first place." Furthermore, it's been stated in the thread a few times already that the FBI and the police are actually investigating. Neither Melissa nor Maddie are beholden to us, the public, or the fans about the sensitive matter of this investigation, particularly for what seemed like a pretty innocent snapchat or text or whatever to a friend. I HOPE they have privacy in this matter and it does not turn into a media circus. I feel so badly for Maddie, who is a child, for having to go through all this and wish the sick person who released the video gets punished severely for what they have done. Edited to add: she may be pretending nothing happened on social media/the internet because she wants to protect her daughter and doesn't want it to blow up, but we have no idea of knowing what is actually happening in their personal lives.

The victim blaming in this thread is atrocious. It's very "oh but why were you wearing a short skirt if you didn't want that to happen?" I don't care why she had those pictures/videos on her phone. The fact that someone hacked it and released them to the public is a violation of her bodily autonomy and it's even worse because she's 12 years old. Should Melissa or her publicist have warned Maddie about the dangers of taking videos or photos like that? Yes. But Maddie first of all is a victim in this. Instead of people's first thoughts jumping to, why did Maddie have these pictures, they should be what kind of sick individuals release topless photos of a 12 year old? What about all the parents who need to teach their children to not be sociopaths and value CONSENT and not treat women and girls' bodies as objects???

Neptune is fantastic. Burim deserved better >:(
