  1. That doesn't feel like the ending they were building towards either. That ending sounds fairly nihilistic since it implies the appocalypse. Not bittersweet.
  2. I'm not seeing it. The show hasn't set up Jon's journey to the iron throne at all. It would feel cheap if you had all these people fighting for the iron throne just for it to go to someone who had a secret daddy. I'd argue that Cersei's more dangerously arrogant then foolish. Who the hell just rips up royal edicts in a room full of witnesses and just shrugs it off like its nothing? What makes her so dangerous is that there is a method to her madness and in theory most of her plans should work, she just tends to forget about the consequences of her schemes so more often then not they blow up in her face
  3. I think you're referring to this scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsKJanYHmqY Which as you can see is before Tyrion was even engaged to Sansa which was the last time they had sex. While Sansa's circumstances were fucked up, let's not forget what led to that in the first place. Mainly Cat and her sister kidnapping, and trying to legally force (torture) a confession out of Tyrion for something he had no part in so that they could kill him. That being said, ignoring the no sex thing, they had a fairly functional marriage, Sansa was fairly open around Tyrion not even bothering to try and put up shields around him, and Tyrion was fiercely protective of her often to the detriment of himself ( the court case pretty much consisted of things he was saying/ doing to protect her). I'm failing to see the problem with their relationship or even how one person acted negatively towards the other.
  4. To be addressed in Tyrion's thread. Mind blown. Jon and Edd to be on the throne at the end The more that I think about it the more I think that Dany's fire plan was stupid. So she's pissing off misogynistic trained warriors. What's to stop one of them from breaking her neck or something else on her? She should've at least acted meek to allow them to relax them.
  5. No he didn't . Not on the show anyway. That being said. I fail to see how any of this pertains to the current show.
  6. As did Stannis but his guards were worn out at the time due to the tough time they were having with the elements.
  7. Something else I forgot to mention. Cersei's idea isn't too bad. If it goes south Kevan and QOT would be responsible. It was brilliant to use their kids/grandkids to get them to do what she wants.
  8. Show Tyrion would likely have a dragon by that point, so I doubt she's forcing shit. In my outrageous scenario where he's waffling on who to support, he's obviously not married to Sansa since that would make it obvious who's side he's on.
  9. Hope this show isn't as Hollywood as this but I could see the final battle of this show mirroring Robert's Rebellion. Jon vs Dany with Tyrion trying to stay out of it hiding at the rock until he has no choice but to pick a side.
  10. Would the guy axing the guy who refused Theon's deal from behind count?
  11. I'm still having a hard time believing that someone would risk their job just to post spoilers I won't dismiss the spoilers, but I'm not buying it all as much more then educated guesswork for now.
  12. I think it had more to do with the fact that she finally felt safe enough to let her real attitude come through. The interesting thing in the upcoming weeks is to see if she's as good of a negotiator as her mother.
  13. LOL , yea Sansa was such a bitch to Tyrion. The way she made her robe into a pillow for him and covered him on their wedding night, totes bitch move. Well, he stored Sansa with the Boltons in hopes of antagonizing Cersei into making the Boltons her enemy while at the same time benefitting from it by promising to use the Vale soldiers to kill the victor of the Bolton Stannis war and claiming that he could bring the evil Sansa to justice. He becomes warden of the north as soon as the Boltons go down. I'd assume that he might've heard of Ramsay but didn't know the extent of his depravities. I think Dany is definitely being set up as the main villain of the series. While the act itself wasn't antagonistic, her o face as she watched the fire engulf the men definitely was. Also if we go through this series, certain Dany action are eerily similar to other series villains. 1. going overboard with the crucifixions/killing everybody she perceived to be an enemy- Tywin Lannister 2. Demanding the throne because its her birth right/she's a dragon- Viserys 3.Repeatedly reminding people of her titles- Joffrey 4. Feeding people to her pets- Do I even have to say it? The high Sparrow isn't about misogyny/ homophobia, the high sparrows about getting the prisoners that will bring the most attention to their cause. Loras just had the bad luck of being a brother to the queen, who was their real target in that particular instance. I'm not sure about Brie Tor. It would work better if Tormund continues to chase an obviously uninterested Brienne. I want to see his desperate overtures to her. The more I think about Mereen the more I think that Tyrion's plan makes sense. I mean, yea, he overshot his time by going with seven years. Pick a low number like two or three. But in playing the long game, it makes sense in weaning the slavers off slavery as opposed to forcing them to abolish it on the spot. Now that Jon and Sansa are reunited, I'm guessing their next big thing after reclaiming winterfell is to bring back all the stark brethren. It's weird but it seems like Bran and especially Arya are too far gone for that to happen.
  14. Unless Sansa gets suicidal, 9 can't be true since that meeting happens next week.
  15. Who has Ramsay really beaten that he gets called superpowered? There was an outnumbered theon army, another army that Theon talked into standing down. A ravaged Stannis army that he sabotaged and this week Osha. If anything, Ramsay's fairly down to earth compared to most people on this show.
  16. I think he's served the Starks long enough. He was pretty much robbed of his birthright at an early age because of it. I can understand why he'd want to go back to his own people for better or for worse. You were right about the following statement though. I can't believe I'd make such a huge mistake. Bran can whisper in the wind in the past, we don't know if he can affect the future as most people tend not to listen to such things.
  17. I disagree. The point of his coming down from the throne and addressing them level was to show them that he's on the same level that they are. Followers of Danerys. Tyrion's flaw is that he's approaching this from an outsider's prospect and in doing so he's not seeing the personal toll of his dealings. In trying to avoid war, he's stepping all over Dany's message. That being said, Missandei and Grey Worm aren't right either since they don't seem to get that they don't have a big enough army to use martial tactics to get these people to listen to them. Tyrion's story is interesting to me in that he's the only leader currently trying to use diplomacy to solve his region's problems. Everybody else is trying to take everything by force or defend it by force. Redemption. He's looking to atone for the horrible things that he's done, and the only way he knows how is to put the right person on the salt throne.
  18. Also what the hell was Osha's endgame? Suicide bomb Ramsay? Even if she did kill Ramsay, there was no way that she was going to be able to get to Rickon or even past the guards that I'd assume were stationed outside the door.
  19. Provided that Dany pardons Tyrion once she becomes queen, and if Sansa chooses to accept her marriage to Tyrion, she'd be lady of the Rock.
  20. I guess the hand grabbing could be seen as romantic if you're looking for that sort of thing. But they seemed to be talking like a brother and sister trying to reunite their house, not so much as man and woman. I hope that makes sense.
  21. I have a feeling that Ramsay will somehow have a counter for that. so here's the red priestess scene next week http://watchersonthewall.com/game-of-thrones-season-six-audition-surfaces-online/ I'm assuming that's going to scare the shit out of Varys and that'll likely cause him to go away.
  22. Well yea, obviously. I'm just saying that she doesn't have to bring up her treatment anymore, she has quite a few options at the moment where she doesn't have to use her rape as a rallying cry if she doesn't want to.
  23. From the way it sounds Ramsey has 5,000 men plus the support of the two or three biggest houses. Not to mention that I don't imagine that anybody in the North likes Wildings.
  24. Since Roose is dead and Theon isn't telling anybody, it's only important if she decides to say anything. Otherwise she can just lie and still claim to be a virgin.
  25. I don't think that Sansa ever wants to talk about her time with Ramsay again if she doesn't have to.
