I forgot about that scene. I'm kind of mad that Brienne interrupted before Davos could find out about Shireen.

It looks like Bran somehow gets stuck in said flashback. But yea, how is LF getting everywhere so fast?

Um it's going to take me a few days to process what I just saw. Mereen- Dany has no chill. She has to be the final villain. If not you have an indestructible hero and that would be bad writing. She has a dothraki army with her, can we finally start moving her away from Mereen please. That offer by Tyrion was obviously to buy time Iron throne- Nice setup for next week. I still don't see how Yara's going to beat Euron North- Did we really need to see Ramsay kill Osha? I've never been bothered by Ramsay before but that scene was just torture porn for the sake of making him more evil. The Vale- Littlefinger somehow using what should've been a huge fuckup to strengthen his position <3. Kings landing- Finally Cersei's back. Welcome back to the game, we all missed you. Margery would've been such an interesting protagonist. Sadly, this ain't her story. Hopefully the queen of Thorns being around stops her from going too far off the rails. The Wall- Jon and Sansa reuniting <3. A guarantee that one way or the other that Rickon will be with them by the end of the season is also kind of cool. Pink Letter <3. Sansa smacking Jon off his emo horse <3 The Wall in general was just awesome. This episode definitely had a feminist bent to it. I now see what they were talking about when previewing this season.

I don't think Jon and Sansa will reunite until the end of the season. Sansa just misses Jon or something contrived like that. Will Ramsey try to make Rickon Reek on? hmmm

Since I assume the writers wrote these and told Sophie and Maisie to say them, I'd say the two lies would be Arya crosses off three names and Arya doesn't cross off any. Since most people would assume that one of those statements have to be true, that would be the best place to hide the lies.

Isn't learning how to play the game and taking control of her destiny another theme? It's pretty much what she's doing in the vale right now.

Show is the show and the books is the books. Just because they don't love each other in the books don't mean they can't wind up together for political reasons. If they wind up together then circumstances don't necessarily have to match on the show. Dany would be an even harder sell. She has nothing to gain from it politically and her heart already belongs to another.

It's kinda crazy that the god of tits and wine hasn't gotten any since he got married. Tyrion as ruler and Varys serving in the hand role is actually pretty awesome. Probably the best duo so far. That being said, Jon and Davos are in the rearview mirror. Is Jorah going to wind up telling people that he has a contagious disease or is his plan to give Greyscale to all of Dany's enemies while keeping Dany safe?

I don't think this show cares about whether or not a relationship feels squicky. This is a show where a brother raped had rough sex with his sister by the corpse of their dead son. If the relationship is necessary to move the story along they'll do it. That being said, the fact that there's been zero povs where either Jon or Sansa states their feeling about the other, pretty much tells me they won't end up together. If they were going to have one, we'd at least see Sansa judging Jon to be a bastard or something of the like. Six seasons in, I'm pretty sure that they won't just start a relationship out of thin air. Also, generally in these types of stories about separated family members, the closest relationships generally tend to reunite last. There's two chances at a happy ending romance wise. The easy one is that the lord commander somehow changes the NW's stance on relationships and allows for marriage, thereby allowing Sam and Gilly to get together. The other one is so ridiculous that I'll keep that to myself for now.

Jon's problem would still be a legitimacy thing. If Robert doesn't take over the throne and it's left to Viserys then westeros could have been in store for one of it's many rebellions if Jon found out and wanted to stake his claim. What if all this turns out to be irrelevant and at the end, Littlefinger is on the throne in all his mustache twirling glory?

Alright guys I'm probably looking too much into this but this talk could be foreshadowing. And looking too much into things is what I do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doY0IjisBlk Holiness- Tommen Strength- Joffrey Justice- Myrcella Does Tommen possibly kill himself?

EEP. I will concede I was mistaken about inheritance laws but I think it's fair to say that I got it now. Ignoring the fact that bigamy hasn't been legal for years in Westeros and ignoring the fact that before the baby was born that Viserys was the king and they should've been protecting him , two problems with that. One when they were first posted, the baby they were protecting was at best third in line. Since when does that person draw two kingsguards? As a matter of fact, how many guards did Tommen get at the beginning of this series? Two they had no idea what the sex of the baby was. Are you saying that if the baby turned out to be a girl that the guards would've suddenly abandoned Lyanna and ran off to protect the true king? If not then they were doing a friend a favor. I do seriously hope that there's more to Jon's bloodline then whether or not he has a claim to the . Also it's quite ironic that Robert's claim was due to the fact that the Baratheons in the past got screwed over in a marriage deal with the Targaryens.
-
That baby has blonde hair. How do they plan on passing that off as Sam's?
-
That's not how line of succession works. Once the king's son dies it goes to the next king's son, not the king's grandkids.
-
Legitimate or not, Viserys was still next in line. Rhaegar died before the mad king hence Viserys became the crown prince. They weren't protecting shit, they were doing a favor for a friend. Either way it was pretty stupid to not allow the one person who would've helped Lyanna.
-
Jon wasn't next in line though, Viserys was. That's the one situation where I'm with Ned. You're trying to kill me before I see my sister, screw honor.

Sansa Stark: A Direwolf In Sheep's Clothing?
Oscirus replied to Carrie Ann's topic in Game Of Thrones
Sansa also told Tyrion that she'd be praying for his death. She can be pretty venomous when she wants. It comes down to the person that she's dealing with. -
So now that Theon comes back before the kingsmoot. There goes the theory that he'll be the reason why that ceremony would be invalid.

I think Kevan has to be dead by the time that the lannister/tyrell army attacks the Sparrows. I just don't see Kevan standing by while Cersei pulls something like that. So for some Mereen spec. I assume that by the end of this season that Dany will install Grey Worm and Missandei as the new heads of Mereen before she heads off to Kings Landing with Tyrion and Co. Season ends with Dany finally starting her voyage home.
-
On rewatch, my only problem with Tyrion is that the fact that he and Varys are already getting things done makes dany look incompetent. Sure she's probably eventually going to lead the dothraki army to quell the rebellion, but still, she's coming off as a one trick pony when it comes to ruling. At least I can see an end game forming for Mereen. More on that in speculation. I actually liked the Arya scene watching her transform into a nobody was frightening. But if the 2 truths and a lie game played by Sophie and Maiise and Arya's list is true that must mean that . But she could also be lying about her list to these people. The Ramsay scene was eye opening. Admittedly Rickon in the hands of Ramsey is scary. But the fact that he's not even inspiring respect from his perspective allies is really telling. Umber threw Rickon to Ramsey like you throw meat to a dog. Roose's words are coming to fruition. Tommen is so out of his depth. Cersei shouldn't allow him to go anywhere by himself. I didn't even realize there was a fart joke until I read about it (so embarrassed). I actually feel sorry for Olly. I don't imagine how I'd react if I was forced to congregate with my parent's killers. Davos would've been good in Mereen since he seems to need to follow an inspiring person.

I assume you mean if Rhaegar bought his best fighters into the war with him, in which case, Robert would have gurgled no while swallowing blood and feeling the life seep out of him because he lost that battle. Which would've won the war for targaryans. And you know what else wouldn't have happened? Elia wouldn't have got raped/killed and his other kids wouldn't have gotten slaughtered. The really funny thing is that the only reason that Robert didn't find out is because he had his maester tending to Selmy's wound so the only thing that kept her safe from "evil Robert" was luck. He would've won the war and kept all of his children and his wife and his side piece out of danger if he had his best men with him going into battle. But Just going off of your quote, ole Rhaegar chose to leave his other two children out in the open with only one guard who's motives was dubious at best knowing that their lives were in danger. If I go by that, not only is he stupid and arrogant but he's also callous as shit.
-
Tommen doesn't have to accept and he wouldn't in that case.
-
Sansa's not dying until she meets up with Arya since that's been the narrative since season 1.
-
So did I. I also wonder what Ned was thinking when Jaime didn't use that to his advantage.
-
So it looks like we're going to have a battle for Tommen's soul coming up with sparrow on one shoulder and Cersei on the other. So either Varys returns and kills Kevan and Pycelle to frame Cersei or Cersei has those two killed to regain power on the council. I wouldn't be shocked if Qyburn and one or both of the tyrells wind up added to the mix in the tv version.
