Apparently, she posted in the comments that she feels like a "beached whale." I guess she's trying to convince herself that she's as pretty as she was pre-pregnancy and reminding herself that the baby is all for Jesus.

Alyssa certainly holds the beliefs of her parents, but since she doesn't spew them all over the internet like Benessa, I cut her slack. Heck, I even cut Jill slack for the same reason. Of course, the latter gets a bit heavy-handed with the religion at times, but Alyssa, and to a certain extent, Erin, remain fairly neutral. I don't mind the religion from Erin, though, because of what she had to endure to safely deliver her baby. Of course, she's going to lean on her faith; that's to be expected. As long as she doesn't beat me over the head with it, I'm good. Erin actually responds to people on Instagram, and she seems genuinely sweet. I see Alyssa as a little more stand-offish, which is fine as long as she doesn't wander into Jessa Seewald bitch territory.

I correct bad grammar for a living. Just when I think I've seen it all, some leghumper surprises me with even worse grammar, syntax, or combinations of both that one could never make up! Check out the fanfic that was posted yesterday. It made my head spin. And that's why I pretty much AVOID the comments! I need a break. LOL

I have thought that this would be parental endangerment. I thought it similar to parents serving alcohol to minors in their home (or alcohol even being consumed without the parents' knowledge) and being responsible for the consequences if said minors drive drunk and get in an accident.

Find the Joy stuff! It was mind-blowingly horrible! Her husband got in a car accident, but she never went to the hospital, even when he was in really bad shape. I think she was also knocked up. I think Jana was also involved, but I can't remember if she was also married. I'm pretty sure this is the same person. We had more qualms about her being down there while 6 months pregnant with Izzy than she did. Now delivery, that's an entirely different animal, especially now that she's going to attempt VBACs from here on out.

LOL! This may be the girl who wrote the worst.fanfic.ever. about Joy getting married and pregnant. It was hysterical (for all the wrong reasons) and painful at the same time. I guess we shall see regarding the departure date. I'm sure that someone will post something either the day they leave or soon after. Remembering last year, there were a couple departure posts, radio silence for about a week, then a flurry of posts. I don't think they had 4G access in Honduras, but they definitely had it at SOS HQ. If Jessa did get a book and a giftcard for her trouble, I would then have to assume that THM approached her rather than the other way around. I was curious as to how fundies find stuff once they're allowed free access to the interwebz, but companies contacting her, as they obviously did with Jill in the lead-up to the first Duggar Daughter wedding, makes more sense. The abuse all occurred at the Johnson Rd. house, which they moved out of into the "rent house." So yes, they owned it. Whether they owned it in the clear is anyone's best guess, but I think they must have. They did Sammons' debt seminar not long after they met Dr. Wheat (the ":Pill causes miscarriage" and fundie sex book author). So, they've "purposed" to be debt-free since the early/mid-90's. I remember Jinger saying she was born in that house, so that was 12/93. Hard to say if they still carried a mortgage as late as 2002/3. I would wager that they didn't. Who knows what kind of insurance they had on that house, if any at all?

She may well still have been under the jurisdiction of her fundie parents, and been coached as to what to say. Just a thought. Josh Duggar, fox in the henhouse.

I just read that only an hour ago (20 hours after Jessa's post), the THM ladies posted Jessa's IG as a "celebrity endorsement." So, I don't think there was a deal beforehand for her to make the post with her dinner to promote them, or they would have posted last night. Looks like Jessa did that on her own. Now, JILL, OTOH, tagged just about EVERYTHING leading up to her wedding. I remember the @Jamberry party two days prior because it was my birthday. We talked at the time whether Jill was getting freebies, but never came to a conclusion about that.
