I just watched the finale a few nights ago. He proposes to her, calling her Laura. Then as the two of them are leaving she says "you know Laura isn't my name, dont' you?" And he says yes. I didn't catch anything else. Did they give her real name then? What is it?

Andrew was pretty impressive but I'm pleased enough that Jen won. The lady at the far end seemed to have a hard time getting into the game. I too was very surprised no one got Midnight Cowboy. Another one I though easy but was a ts was "emollient" from the word "mollis". DH was calling questions to me about FJ and interrupting my train of thought so I didn't get FJ - although I'm not too sure I would have come up with it anyhow.

Congrats to Jen for the win. It was a good game by everyone. I was shocked that no one got Evita. I was even more shocked that I got FJ, based solely on the first two definitions since I had no idea whatsoever what the chemical formula meant. I think it must be a big vacation trip for everyone.

I thought so too. And did anyone catch what that file was all about? It was something to do with Cross shooting, or not shooting, someone. Vega said that Cross did it according to regulations but that it didn't make things better for Angie. I don't know what they were talking about. Re the EMT, I too was hoping he wouldn't survive, because that's how he wanted it. Can the insurance company refuse to pay out? Since the victim did die from a parachute jump accident after all.

I read that book years ago too. I may have to read it again soon:) I was saddened to see that Elizabeth Peters died last year. Re FJ, as soon as the category was shown I precalled Shangri-la.

Congrats to Christi on her win - she's very good. The other two gave her some pretty good competition so it made an interesting game. Instaget FJ for me but, interestingly (to me, anyhow) , my precalls included both the Hope Diamond and the Crown Jewels.

I checked out youtube for this episode - got lots of results for Bad Blonde but not a one was the Motive episode:)

I saw that too but didn't really think too much about it. I can't say I heard Matthew say "What is" before Ruth but it was all so fast I might have missed it. Re FJ, both places, among others, flitted through my mind but I didn't really settle on an answer. I am never quite sure where East ends and West begins - or vice versa:) I don't think I like categories that are "something something In Other Words" - they always seem so easy.

Thanks, yeswedo, but I'm in Canada and can't get Hulu or abc.com. It's supposed to be available online at ctv.ca but I can't get it to work. Guess I'll just have to wait until it's on again. Looks like a rerun tonight, a repeat of the season opener.

Congrats to Howard on his win. He and Shloka were very impressive. I got FJ with not enough time to write down, although, once I did get it, it seemed very obvious. As someone who also has a 'funny' voice (mine is inherited) I sympathize with Jill, although I didn't find her as annoying as some of you did. And she seemed very likeable. It sounded to me like she spoke from her throat instead of her diaphragm.

Yes, Jill's voice did sound like she was recovering from a cold or laryngitis. Even if it was her normal voice I thought it was fine. And she did seem way more relaxed. A good game by all but I did think the two challengers should have wagered more on FJ. It was an instaget for me but I was not really positive it was right, thinking I might have been misled by the name Mario.

I'm sorry you lost Jennifer, it was fun watching you play. Is Sylvia Plath even British? Instaget FJ for this Agatha Christie fan.

CTV has renewed it for a third season. I don't know if ABC has picked up the third season or not. It sounds like this was a really good episode - I am so bummed that I missed it.

Another great game from Jennifer! I went with Krupp for FJ; of course, as soon as Alex said his name is now synonymous with "peace" (although I think that's really stretching it) I realized it was Nobel. Loved Ari's FJ answer.

I turned on the show that we get from the east coast at 7 pm but it was a rerun of the first episode. I figured it would be the same episode at 10 pm so I didn't bother turning it on. Now I've missed it. Hope they show it again sometime.

Congrats again, Jennifer! I was a little worried during the first round but you pulled the win out against a couple of pretty good players. For FJ, I didn't think the answer was a European country but didn't go to the Middle East either; I went to Asia and also chose Thailand, I too was surprised that the Black Hole of Calcutta was a TS. Another TS that I thought was easy.was "waive". Jennifer is easy on the eyes.

Another excellent game by a poster! Great game, Tigershark. You had some pretty stiff competition which made it an exciting game. So glad you won. I knew FJ was the American version of our CRTC but I couldn't come up with it.

I am looking forward to watching you play, Tigershark. I hope you do very well! I thought it was a fairly easy board but FJ stumped me. Broadway is not a strong subject for me.

When the FJ category came up I pre-called Dog River, Saskatchewan so I was surprised that it really was about Canada. Instaget for this Canadian of course. Is it tomorrow night that we will see Tigershark?

I liked Alex's little joke to Brian at the end about Brian winning because he faked out the other two.

Good for Brian, that was a great comeback! Yes, Troy was easy on the eyes but Brian doesn't hurt them either. I liked the lady on the end too. I chose Chrysler first for FJ but then changed it to General Motors with enough time to write it down.
