  1. It looks like with this episode, the show is starting to find a more comfortable energy level with the acting. Farkle definitely seemed toned down, although I think he was really funny in the pilot even if OTT; in this episode it was sweet seeing him portrayed as a true friend to the girls. I found the detention classroom scene to be awkward. The dialogue Lucas had felt very forced. For some reason, the Auggie plot with Topanga did not seem interesting at all. I was distracted by Topanga's facial expressions, which seemed stiff and perhaps botox-induced. Overall, I think I should reserve judgement of how the show will fair because there have only been two episodes to watch. You never know how it will evolve. But so far, I am getting a major trying-too-hard vibe from all the dialogue.
  2. I think Truely and Solomon look so alike! Also, I think the kid that looks the most like Kody is Hunter.
  3. I find it interesting that Janelle recently claimed she wants nothing whatsoever to do with the creative aspects of MSWC, but I remember a season or two ago she had a change of heart about helping Robyn and was interested in developing a line of fitness apparel for women. She obviously changed her mind or maybe that was just scripted.
  4. It could just be because of editing or because Janelle was preoccupied with something, but I found it hilarious when she and Kody were in her driveway and she was about to head off to a workout and Kody mentioned something like, "We're probably going to hear a decision from the investors really soon", and Janelle looked like she couldn't care less! Count me as another viewer who was absolutely miffed by Robyn's "We need this investor money so I can have a baby" logic.
  5. Dorothy: "It is really coming down out there!" Rose: "What's coming down?" Dorothy: "The Liberace Marquee at Caesar's Palace." Big Daddy: "You're still as pretty as a ladybug sunnin' itself on a lillypad on a misty spring day south of Savannah." Dorothy: "Could you be a little more specific, Big Daddy?" Sven: "You didn't tell them about kissing me?" Rose: "Kissing him?!" Sven: "Or stroking my hair?" Rose: "Stroking his hair?!" Sven: "Or feeding me?" Dorothy: "...Alright, I'll say it. Feeding him?!"
  6. I love Dorothy's facial expressions!! She doesn't even have to say anything; her facial reactions just crack me up.
  7. I hate the editing that Hallmark does! There are so many memorable, hilarious moments that are cut out of episodes and it kind of ruins the magic of the show! I hope people who are seeing episodes for the first time do not experience it through Hallmark viewing because they will not get the real deal. A few days back the channel was just showing the Barbara Thorndyke episode ("Dorothy's New Friend"), one of my all-time faves, and they got rid of a big chunk of the conversation between Barbara and Rose and Blanche about her broach. And what's more, during Dorothy's awesome little speech where she was telling off Barabara, there was a weird editing with audience laughter when Dorothy was supposed to say "Go to hell, hmm?" I guess that is not appropriate for Hallmark? I agree that the commercial breaks come at strange places in the scenes. And yes, the opening credits song was sped up.
  8. That's a good point! I guess I didn't consider that. I suppose they could have made do with three homes altogether, but then Meri would never agree to sharing a house if Christine and Janelle each had their own. And like you said, at this point they are better off not sharing spaces with their dynamic.
  9. Hello there! A long-time Sister Wives fan here; have been watching the show since the beginning, and lost interest somewhere in the middle but am back to watching it again. I do wish only the best for these ladies and the family, but I have to say they don't seem to be gaining any wisdom, no matter what, when it comes to financial matters. It is just mind-boggling to see the poor choices they make. As huge as those homes are, I think they could have had Janelle and Christine in one house and Robyn and Meri in another. Many of the kids will be heading off to college each year as Janelle once pointed out, so I don't think it would have been so crowded! I am also surprised their show features so many episodes about My Sisterwife's Closet, yet they do not bother to correct all of the grammatical errors on their webpages! Very unprofessional, and the majority of comments on their business's Facebook page seem to be complaints about the website errors! I recently rewatched some of the very first episodes of the show on Netflix, and I have to say I was fascinated by how different it was. Meri actually said that she considered Christine and Janelle to be her best friends and that they "get" her! Wow, fast-forward to today's show and what a change! Sad.
