True, add a couple more HWs next season and the bitching about Eboleah will probably cease. With Carole, it was what interested and was important to her, she included the others, I saw nothing wrong with that. The insistence that politics and race don’t belong on a show set in NYC is, to say the least, confusing.

I’m sure Leah and Eboni would be flattered that there are those who think they’ve “ruined” the show, that they’re just that important. I don’t understand the wish for this to be an “escape” from reality when the whole idea is to show us their, er, real lives. Are fake lives preferable? The election was real and up for discussion. Period, done, to quote Dorinda - who I bet would have been passionate like Eboni. Carole, too. Those two would have spoken intelligently about their feelings. Instead Ramona was front and center with it, and spazzed out as usual, because she doesn’t “want to be educated.” Says a lot about her, not Eboni. If one really needs to see turtle time or leg-throwing or greasy John-esque boyfriends, there are previous seasons of the show to relive, aren’t there?

I noticed while Sutton was melting down, Dorit was gazing at herself in her phone camera 😂

It’s interesting to me how Crystal’s face is reading as smug to a lot of people. It looks like she’s giving small, polite smiles to what’s going on around her. I have been told I was “smirking” when I have done the same thing. You really can’t win even when you’re trying to hold back! When she gives a real smile, though, she looks beautiful and happy.

I didn’t mind Sutton’s dress, there was a tiger on it, right? I love her love of cats. I also liked Erika’s outfit at her shack, they looked like very fancy pajamas.

Yeah, he hardly filmed with her. I didn’t understand the scene with Lisa asking if she should address Scott as Lord…? What’s with Erika’s sudden obsession with hot toddies? Why does Dorit have a portrait of herself as Dorit Kahlo? And finally, *Kathy voice* who is Mr. Poppins?

I tend to doubt that now after everything that’s come out…

Ramona has privileges in all areas of life simply because of her skin color, whereas Eboni can’t just “take off her blackness and put it in the coat closet” like she mentioned at one point. The issues Eboni wants to talk about affect her much more than they’ll ever affect Ramona, she can’t just hang them up. Good ol’ phony Ramona…crawling into someone’s lap and hugging them is her way of putting an end to it and it seems to work every time! She was so ridiculous going into her room and talking to Coco and coming out wearing her Avery necklace. Leah surprisingly dressed okay for Harlem night. I thought it was sweet how much thought Eboni put into the dinner, but maybe she should have served them something first before her presentation.

I noticed she didn’t mention him when they were talking about they spent covid. She just said it was her and Tom (and Tiago). Who knows what that relationship is like…and I’m sure we’ll never know. Lol

I think lecturing and haranguing each other was always part of this show. Suddenly it’s different because it relates to racial issues?

I’m not sure how to feel about Sutton. She can be endearing but mostly her reactions and mannerisms are just too dramatic. Her saying in the next episode that she hasn’t seen a sense of humor in Crystal yet gets to the root of it I think. Crystal thought she was making fun of/shaming her but Sutton was trying to joke about walking in on her. Her jokes tend to miss the mark with this group. Did Erika get her vag high specifically for a dumpling making event?

I love the way Crystal dresses. So simple and elegant. Of course, we haven’t seen the leather pants episode yet…

She said she wanted “comfort” food, not that she didn’t want Ramona’s food. And she told Ramona in a way that Ramona didn’t seem to have a problem with. I don’t see rude and arrogant at all—I see mature, upfront, open, and not afraid to speak up/have tough conversations.
