All this stuff is taking on a different tone now that we’ve seen what’s been going on this season. I’m not necessarily faulting OR exonerating Kathy—because who knows what happened unless we see it—but I’m starting to lean in favor of K and her cyst and disease. I can buy that these women manipulated the claims.

I’d love to send Diana on a Girls Trip with Leah, Porsha, Dorinda, Brandi, and Vicki. She can’t hide in a hotel and the only entertainment is a required nightly concert featuring Kim Zolciak and Luann. Gross. I take back what I said about turning a corner on Crystal. I’m going right back around that corner, and I don’t care if it’s a one-way street. Diana is indefensible.

Right. She has to go LOOKING FOR who unfollowed who and stuff. It’s not like you’ve t some notification or something. I use the “Mute but don’t disconnect” stuff all the time. Too many selfies, too many political posts, too many “look how awesome my life is” posts, or just TOO MANY POSTS… and it isn’t even always a matter of how I feel about that person in “real life.” So maybe even the housewives do the same.

Oops! You can do a search (just corrected myself). Sometimes you can see friends in common but it’s still something you have to intentionally go look for.

I’m guessing this might have to do with why Kathy is bearing the brunt of all the “ASPEN IS SO HORRIBLE” narrative we’ve been seeing up to this point too. Is that another nickname for Diana UGH CRYSTAL—don’t ruin that goodwill you’ve been building up. I mean dang… yes, she herself totally has been snarky too! Don’t put snark and what Diana said in the same category. And I don’t even get how anyone could consider themselves close to Diana. She seems unknowable.

Oh for sure. It’s just so interesting that early on this season was billed as “KATHY DOES SOMETHING AWFUL!!!!” and now we see how awful things got without any assistance from her. Not to say she didn’t do anything, but at this point, it’s pretty hard to imagine why that would have been the ONLY thing worth hyping as drama, when we know now that we have that awful instance with Diana and the awful moment coming up with Erika going ham on Crystal. I know we get little bitty clips of the latter, but the narrative has been AWFUL KATHY.

Boy, all that stuff about Kathy and her supposed rageathon sure does hit differently now that I’ve seen the first Aspen episode… https://pagesix.com/2022/07/21/rhobh-trailer-kathy-hiltons-behavior-in-aspen-shocks-cast/ I can totally see Kathy getting frustrated and perhaps acting upset about something that goes down—and I can one hundred percent see these women use that to cook up some story about Kathy going on some kind of scary tirade.

After all this, I realize I’m coming around a bit on Crystal. She’s still not a fave, but she’s been acting like a decent person. And really, what she’s done in the past pales in comparison to this poopstorm.

And Kyle telling Sutton to not act like a victim? And totally ignoring all the ACTUAL victims of Erika’s husband’s misdoings.

Every time someone mentions this, I think back to Kathy bopping into Crystal’s home and asking for snacks and drinks… and Crystal happily supplies. What a contrast…

I think people being over it is real. 95% of the comments on the Twitter thread for reunion questions reference the awfulness of what went down this season. Unfortunately, there’s a tendency to want to see what happens next… but I think the only thing that MIGHT move Andy is a sharp drop in ratings.

I could kind of understand this—plus the shock of being around someone who just said something so heinous and disrespectful. I like to think I’d immediately jump in with a response, and yet I have a feeling that in reality, I’d be at least temporarily stunned into silence. Not out of a desire to sweep something under a rug, but out of disbelief that someone would just out and say something so egregious and insulting.

I love that 95% of the questions address the vileness of the Faux Farce Five and/or Andy himself. …which means that the tweets that make the cut are going to be the negative questions for Sutton, and the one from the person who asks why Mauricio doesn’t know where the butter is in his own kitchen.

The juxtaposition of Erika cackling at Diana’s excruciatingly rude comment to Sutton, with the knowledge that—at minimum—Crystal and Garcelle know about C—-y’s ill-gotten earrings… I mean… Also I have to wonder if Kyle’s whole childish “who unfollowed who on Instagram” thing wasn’t designed to hide what was really going down. I know I’ve mentioned that I’ve known a “Kyle” type… I got a flashback to that person’s behavior in certain circumstances… that put the scene over the top for me.

Diana: LEAVE. Leave, leave, leave. Go back to your ghost-free, hotel room and off the show. Please.

Wow. That is… massively creepy and also insulting to anyone who believes in an actual God. I can’t think of anything that would raise Diana to the level of a deity.
