  1. Dude like dude that leaves room for shrooms and sunsets, dude! Yeah… I was never a big fan of Flat Iron Tom, but the way he and Ariana treated Kristen turned me against him. He’s always struck me as self centered and petulant.
  2. @KungFuBunny Thanks for the link to that video with Nema. I believe him, too. He has nothing to lose or gain by saying what he did—and he’s so matter of fact in the way he shares it. As he described it, Rachel’s behavior was just “off” in so many ways beyond even the ones that have already been discussed ad nauseam.
  3. It also helps keep her out of the public eye in the aftermath.
  4. I'm always happy to come here and see a more balanced perspective on Ariana. What happened to Ariana was awful. And in some respects, the way she has handled herself is pretty admirable. But I admit, all the "OUR QUEEN" stuff I see in other discussions gets exhausting. And I totally agree that some of what she said was unnecessary. Sure, hold them accountable. But calling another person "nothing"? That went too far for me, personally. That starts to reflect on jer rather than Rachel.
  5. Right! The answer isn't "cheat"--it's ask for what you need, and either work on it or leave. THEN find someone else.
  6. Even better: He said a WORM with a mustache! "We walked so Rachel could not only run, but bust through the tape like Kool-Aid Man on a pasta bender."
  7. I think she can be up for Miss Tress of the Year.
  8. I want a heart like Kool-Aid Man, ready to bust through a wall and be all: "OH YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
  9. I am BEYOND annoyed this morning because I have "I got a HEAARRRRRRRRRRRRT LAHK A TRUUUUUUUUUCCCCKK" stuck in my head... I couldn't remember which company used that song, but of course it's Dodge and their trucks bug me anyway. I'd rather listen to Kars 4 Kids on loop. I've seen that happen on some of the tinier cable channels--same ads, over and over again. It's like they don't have other advertisers so "hey, here's Balance of Nature again..."
  10. Schwartzy says that being quick to be dismissive is a slippery slope? I mean, he would know…
  11. LOL at the Pump hostess telling Lisa “go right ahead” and sit where she wants IN HER OWN RESTAURANT. Does she even know who Lisa is? 🤣🤣🤣
  12. He’s a chef the way Sandoval is a musician. Rant incoming: Sandoval’s whole thing about a B+ being perfect really annoyed me. First of all a B+ is the very definition of not perfect. And secondly: his thing about performers being stoked if they pull off a B+? Someone tell that to my perfectionist musician ex boyfriend. AND AND AND! Get out of here with that crap anyway, Sandoval. Musicians ABSOLUTELY care. You can’t tell me that major touring acts, or even not-so-major ones—aren’t keenly aware of how much people are laying out for tickets, and recognizing that they better bring their A Game. Yeahhh not all, but most. (I just saw Depeche Mode—twice—dudes are in their 60s, just lost their close bandmate a year ago… and, in my opinion, killed it on stage.) Sandoval can take his smarmy excuses and shove them in the potato chip fryer.
  13. It is almost "Restaurant." Verdict still out on "Unique," however.
  14. I honestly wouldn't have put it past Scheana to have her friend Jamie "oops" forget to book a room to not only boot Katie, but make her feel guilty if she didn't give up the room. I'm meh on the sandwich shop Idea but I applaud Katie and Ariana's drive and preparation. It's way ahead of what most of the people on this show have demonstrated in terms of a desire to run a business. And a sandwich shop is a pretty modest start--I'm not saying it's risk-free, but I imagine that it's not as difficult or challenging as opening a sit-down restaurant or gigantic bar. I know James is being a little Bitter Billy about Rachel and her growing prominence in the group. But i bet this is part of what he's referring to when he said something like "now it all makes sense." Ar this point, I am guessing that her prominence in the group will not be what anyone initially imagined... Sandoval really is insufferable.
  15. Careful, you may be summoning the spirit of Rinna! 🤣 After years of not watching it the show, I’ve been following along with this thing because I randomly saw Tom ‘s first “apology” on Instagram, and needed to figure out what the heck he was “apologizing” for. Annnnnd then I got sucked into the vortex. The surprise for me was that, somewhere along the line, Ariana became a favorite in some corners of the Internet? I was never that crazy about how she handled herself on the show—which is not to say that she deserves this, of course. Rachel and Sandoval have both acted despicably here and are (unsurprisingly) scurrying around like rats to hide and place the blame elsewhere. Tom’s latest apology is SLIGHTLY better, inn that he actually sort of acknowledges that his actions impacted Ariana’s feelings, but still smacks of someone else writing it (his restaurant partner Greg? ChatGPT?) versus a heartfelt sense of remorse. Rachel hopping straight to lawsuits and (probably) cyst and decease letters is a terrible look.
  16. Oh I do agree there, @RealHousewife — I wish we got more of the “women doing their thing” and less of the fighting, grifting, and cruelty. Snark is ok 😉 So is ostentatiousness and a touch of pettiness.
  17. What a strange photo. Awful styling and her pose is so bizarrely contorted. If that’s Perfect, I’m happy to be mediocre 🤣🤣
  18. The irony of an image labeled “Perfect!” and “Autonomy” when the image disturbed so many people, and the person being photographed likely has little autonomy…
  19. Interview with Andy Cohen in the New Yorker, wherein Andy discusses the Housewives shows as feminist statements, and glosses over any negative impact that the shows have had on the lives of participants and the tone of our cultural discourse. He's such a saint! 🙄
  20. Heck, I'm surprised she didn't blame LVP for the sprinter ride!
  21. Nope, no better. Kyle's just looking for a well-connected bully to do her dirty work.
  22. I was about to say: NO. NO CHRISSY TIEGEN. But then I remembered I won’t be watching, so what do I care? 🤣 https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/16/kyle-richards-chrissy-teigen-lisa-rinna-replacement-rhobh-real-housewives-beverly-hills/ Chrissy Tiegen has irritated me ever since I first saw her on some Cooking Channel holiday cocktail special with a few other celebrities of varying degrees of fame. She was on with then-boyfriend John Legend and acted as if because of that she was the star of the whole thing—if I recall correctly she was butting in at any possible moment she could. It was truly obnoxious. I know a lot of people find her endearing and funny, but—like Rinna—she’s bugged me for a long long time. YMMV of course. ;)
  23. Sutton's comment is probably the PR equivalent of a Southerner's "bless her heart."
