  1. No, please no Kripke. I would love to see Stuart's role expanded, though.
  2. I totally agree with you about Kate. She's funny, talented, versatile (not the same damn voice/accent no matter what like Aidy), and a team player. I think Taran is good and I don't mind a bit that he hasn't come up with many repeat characters. For me, with the exception of Stefon, that gets old fast (looking at you Wiig). Weekend Update anchors are just weak. I'm especially disappointed in Cecily Strong. I don't think she's made it hers. Then again, maybe there's no there there? I don't know. I feel like previous anchors have put their distinct signature on WU. That's where my Amy Poehler girl crush began.
  3. I don't know that in real life people think like that, but TBBT certainly wants us to. It annoys me. I don't think a person in a relationship would keep reminding a partner how much better looking s/he is.
  4. I just don't understand. Acting isn't working out so Penny wants to marry Leonard?! Seems about 50 years out of date.
  5. I don't care for Bob Newhart, and I'm not looking forward to his return. There, I said it. I feel much better now.
  6. I actually forgot to watch it last night, and it's not like I was doing anything else. It saddens me when my favorite shows go downhill. So, somehow Jess now has an administrator's license. It's obviously not a private school. We're expected to believe that Jess now deals with paperwork and student discipline all day. I just don't see it. I love me some Winston. It was hilarious when the girls were following him around. That's about all I enjoyed.
  7. I was ready to be, but it didn't look like she was in the kitchen.
  8. Ina turned me on to roasting all sorts of veggies. I did asparagus last night--so good. I live alone so I just did a handful in my convection toaster oven. Everyone I've served a roasted veggie too has become a veggie roaster in turn. My adult son particularly likes Brussels sprouts and has taken to making them himself. It's just so easy and tasty. Her parmesan crisps are really good and easy. (I think Giada has made them on air, too) I have all sorts of food sensitivities, but I made turned her gingerbread cupcakes w/orange icing into a gluten-free, egg-free creation that was divine. Next time I make them, I'm going to switch it up to lemon. I'm a lemon-aholic. The only thing I didn't have luck with was her granola. I would love to just go hang out with Ina and let her feed me. I'll just sit out in the garden and wait to be served. Maybe I'll arrange some hydrangeas.
  9. I don't think Cecily is doing a good job at the WU desk. She hasn't made it her own--unless she just doesn't have a personality. Sam Smith has a good voice, but he needs to find some songs with more than 10 words in the lyrics (to be fair I ff'd through the second song 'cause the first bugged so much). Otherwise for me, the show was a mix of "meh" and "huh?" Looking forward to next week--Pharrell and Jay Pharaoh are both from my neck of the woods. I hope they get to do something together. I am old and have no idea who Anna Kendrick is other than that annoying "Cups" business.
  10. How about "reliable tittle tattle"?
  11. So going to miss this show. As I was watching, I realized that I'd much prefer Shawn break up with Juliet than with Gus. I would have been aggravated either way. I'm so glad it worked out. I feel like I need to rewatch all the episodes now.
