  1. I hate to, but I have to slightly defend Leah in reference to the wheelchair. Is it stupid to buy a horse for Ali? Absolutely. She should purchase therapeutic riding time at a local stable. Horses are incredibly expensive. She also wastes money on horrible makeup, rings, and stupid things. Those things seem even extra stupid when it is put against the constant struggle to get insurance to pay for the wheelchair that she keeps whining about how much ALI NEEDS IT TO BE FREE. However that thing is expensive and if it is medically necessary, it is something that the insurance company should be paying for. If Ali and Corey or Jeremy or whoever just went out and bought it, the insurance company isn't going to reimburse them for it once it is approved. They have to continue the process and get the insurance to pay for it. It basically costs about what a car would cost and they wouldn't be able to afford it and the upkeep if it isn't done through insurance. Now the stupid cars and jewelry and Mary Kay and horses, that is just plain silly and shows just how immature and well unintelligent that Leah and the whole lot of them are. I have no defense for that. Poor kids. They have no chance.
  2. I don't wanna get on a violence against women soapbox on a BB board, but well...here I go. When people talk about rape in a jokingly manner it is always inappropriate, but it is even more so when it is done in reference to women. I doubt very much that it has ever entered Zach's mind that he would be raped or sexually assaulted, however I am pretty confident that it has entered the mind and fears of almost all women. There is a different reaction because it is something that is based in actual fear. Still, Victoria's mom went off the crazy edge with it. What was said about Victoria is horrible and crass and disgusting, but that didn't suddenly make her more at risk for being raped. I do wonder with it making it to the mainstream coverage aka TMZ (Ugh), if CBS will address it. They seem to want to let much of that stuff be only known to the feedsters unless their hands are forced. If and hopefully WHEN Frankie is evicted, I'd love to see Julie grill him about it. He said it (Caleb too) and so he deserves to be the one to have to deal with it, not his family or any of his non-existent fans.
  3. Victoria's mama wanting an apology from Ariana and the whole family is kinda over the top and silly, however I imagine they are horrified and since they can't get anything from him or CBS right now, they want someone to say what was said about their loved one. And if Ariana is willing to smile and say HI FRANKIE...I LOVE AND WATCH YOU EVERY SECOND ON THE SHOW....then it isn't such a huge stretch that when some of what she and America is watching is horrifying that they would want a response from her about it. Celebrity is nice and all...until it is a huge, horrible, life sucking bitch. Welcome to it Ariana!
  4. I don't think Derrick is one note, nor manipulative. I think Derrick is careful with how he communicates and plants seeds, very well I might add. I also haven't seen him freak out much at all. Most things have gone Derrick's way and when it doesn't, he still finds a way to get through the situation and come out smelling like a rose. I also don 't see that the jury sees any of this. I don't think they have any idea how much of a hand Derrick has played in everything that has gone on. He's done a good job getting what he wants to happen without the blood being on his hands. He's also done a pretty good job making friends with people and hoping it would translate to people liking and trusting him. The only real way I can see this backfiring on Derrick is if the jury is so unaware of how he is playing that they see someone else as more deserving of the big prize. I would like Derrick to win since I see him as the only one consistently playing it...so I hope that he sends Frankie packing and the house/jury sees who has really been in charge, but when it is too late to do anything about it.
  5. Ding, ding, ding. I think Donny scared Derrick because he couldn't manipulate and talk him into doing things Derrick's way. Donny did his thing and wasn't going to bend his will to anyone else, including Derrick. If Derrick worked with Donny he would actually be a liability because he wouldn't just blindly follow and trust Derrick. Derrick got to still pick his brain and talk to him as part of Team America, but having him in an actual alliance, nope....Derrick wanted no part of that. Donny's too smart and too much of an individual thinker for Derrick's game, sadly. The lemmings and the sheep though, they are perfect for what Derrick has set out to do. I've never seen a lot of people continue the group think in terms of voting this far into the game in all the many years I have watched Big Brother. It's boring as hell, but it's also a sign of the work Derrick has done in the house.
  6. And his conversation with Nicole is also really smart. He shows how he is willing to be a Have Not and how Frankie is a selfish cow. He knows that Nicole will be going to the jury again sooner or later and he is firmly looking to put that vote in his pocket as she heads out the door. No matter what Derrick is doing, it is always working the game. As a former undercover cop, it's not surprising to me at all. He's always working the job, working the plan, working the cover.
  7. I would pay large sums for this to happen, except Zach still seems to think FRANKIE IS AWESOME and I am not sure I could handle that. Wow Frankie. I think he is realizing the power of Ariana Grande outside of the house isn't what he thought it was after it was an OVERWHELMING NO to apple pie. Frankie now needs to sell it as her and his fans don't watch the show. Yeah, sure Frankie, sure. Or it is because you suck. Meh. She created them.
  8. I don't know. I'd think if I wanted him on ice there are a million better ways to do that than to put him on a nationally televised show where he can be watched 24/7 if you so choose.
  9. The Miz aka Mike from the Real World and a bajillion challenges is a pretty big WWE star these days, which is something he always said he dreamed off when he was on all those reality shows. Jacinda Barrett was also on The Real World and she has been a pretty successful actress as a result. She most recently was in The Following, but her acting credits are pretty legit. However most people do not become legit members of the Hollywood elite from these types of shows. I do think Frankie did Big Brother in order to have some name recognition of his own outside of his sister. I also think Frankie thought America would LOVE HIM and think he is so FUN AND WONDERFUL AND YEAH!!! However instead America fell in love with Donny and just desperately want Frankie and his fame whore ways to GO AWAY.
  10. Not if Frankie is sent packing...and let's hope that happens berry berry soon.
  11. Agree. I think Derrick is well liked by his house guests, but it is because they see what he is leading them to see, not exactly what is really going on. I also think more then leading or even being liked, Derrick is trusted by almost everyone in the house. I think that Derrick has put the work in with almost every house guest so that they not only see bigger, badder targets, but that they think that Derrick is someone who they can trust and help with their game. I know he's not well liked, but I gotta respect Derrick's game and I hope he wins. He's the only one really playing it IMO. Edited because well, grammar.
  12. I don't know, I never watched the feeds and thought the stuff they showed on tv by Aaryn was vile and horrendous. Some of the feeds stuff went viral on twitter and then it quickly became a focus of the show. Those scenes with Amanda telling Aaryn she should probably quit her evil talkin' ways because of how she may be perceived and then her continuing it. And then the confrontation by Julie and the aftermath of it all. I liked Nicole before I knew she was a fan and a defender of that. Eww. She can go home now.
  13. Derrick winning the 5K. Boo. Of course the HGs would be livid to know how much Derrick has already won by way of TA to "put food in his daughter's mouth" but the only one who could put him on blast about that is Frankie and I don't see that happening. I am not surprised at all with Caleb winning this HOH. Remember that first competition and what a physical beast he was....he has more power, endurance and stamina than anyone else remaining in the house. I am surprised Frankie the dancer wouldn't be better. Frankie realizing that America LOVES Donny is the best thing EVER. Love it.
  14. I don't hear anyone arguing, I hear people sharing their experience and opinions. As this is the most boring season to date, I think they keep desperately trying to find things to make it more exciting. Sadly, none of them seem to be working for me. So far no one seems to be taking the bait since I think it is probably way too late in the game to be risking the crucial reward of HOH.
  15. To me ma'am and how it is received depends on the tone in which someone says it. One is a sign of respect, one is calling you old and one is basically calling you a bitch.
  16. She's on a show on MTV that's how. The friends that show up and talk about her lives are getting a paycheck. Also, reality stars are kinda sorta celebrities, so they are always going to have friends around for the fake arse limelight. I very agree with this. Kail has always been someone who has trust issues and therefore will test people to a ridiculous degree and assume that people are gonna walk out or disappoint her. It's made her be difficult to have a relationship with and maintain it, but I've seen so much growth in her in the last year. I think she realizes that assuming the worst of people and pushing people away is not in her best interest or in the best interest of her children. She's allowing those that she loves and that love her in her life, even if it means that she has to rely and depend on people and put herself out there to be hurt. I think it's shown that Kail might just be growing up.
  17. This cracks me up....the Holderator: http://thekilling.tumblr.com/holderator
  18. I assumed that too when they made reference to how the picture they had of her at her funeral and how that would be how her parents would want to remember her. They wouldn't want to remember as she was before she died and when she was known as Bullet. I was always touched by the dichotomy that it on the flip side, Holder did remember....in all her flaws and glory and who she really was remained with him. I'd say Holder would have paid for the gravestone, but if he did it would have said Bullet on it, so yeah....I'm all on the parent route on this one.
  19. Yeah, Derrick is basically in management now as a cop, a pencil pusher more than anything else. He stopped working the beat a long time ago. However, cops live and breathe by reputation, either good or bad. I don't think he's done anything on the show to jeopardize that, but it matters whether you are working in the field or behind a desk. (lowly opinion here of course)
  20. I agree here. I think Frankie thinks that he is adored by the viewing audience. I want Frankie to suffer the same fate as Aaryn and Amanda from last season who thought they must have been well liked by America until they were sent packing and walked out to meet Julie to a see of boos. I'd pay good money for that to happen to Frankie and to see his face. I'd also like that because it would mean Frankie was evitced and HE'S THE WORST.
  21. I think to Derrick and others in the house they see a difference between the physical beast that is Devin and old, bearded Donny. Given that Donny has really rocked competitions, they probably shouldn't think that, but I think they do. I do think that everyone is under the false impression that Derrick is a guy who has their back, so they want to get his advice/work with him. Derrick also does a great job of bringing everyone together to come to a conclusion of something he has already figured out. If there was a way to have had Donny in the skittles meeting and work it so his candy was picked, I think he could have even gotten through that debacle. Derrick works some magic making people think they are making the decision when it was his all along.
  22. I binge watched the whole series in about a month, so all of the seasons were pretty fresh in my memory when S4 started. I think it would have driven me mad to have the Rosie Larsen murder over 2 seasons if I wasn't able to just whip through it on Netflix, etc. I thought it was well done though and it totally sold me on the partnership of Linden and Holder. I didn't buy Skinner as the killer either mainly because he didn't try harder to stop Linden from visiting Seward in prison and trying to get evidence and what not to get him a stay of execution. You'd think if he really did the crime he would be more active in trying to get her off that trail and focusing on something else. As for that Linden had sex with Skinner, in the season opener of S4, it shows her taking the morning after pill and thank god they didn't go down the road of her becoming pregnant with Skinner's child. I am not sure I could have handled that.
  23. I know that production does things in the game, but if they actually leaked his job which he is doing a pretty gosh darn good job of hiding, I think that would be going too far. Derrick is playing a great game, mainly because he is surrounded by idiots and sheep, but if BB threw a wrench in that I would be pretty pissed.
  24. I want Frankie sent packing because he is vile and then I might never have to hear the name Ariana Grande again. Whoever goes home this week, I hope that they are the one to come back into the house....and just busts up this alliance.
