I loved it. My first husband committed suicide because he was too afraid to come out and talk about his gender identity. He was 27...I was 22...this was back in 1989 when you did NOT speak about it. I knew and I tried as best I could to help him....it was not enough. It broke my heart and for us families who try to help but who cannot...it is the worst thing ever.

Chyka is my favorite. From her clothes to her hair...her relationship with her husband and family....I just love her.

I have to say...I have waned over the past few seasons....it bored me but this season I think is quite possibly the best season and I find myself glued when it is on. I am really enjoying it.

Done. Over. Jumped the Shark....tired of the Bravo scripted series....Shahs were not out of the gate...but it is so over the top and unrealistic....I just cannot watch it anymore....it is so fake fake fake. Ugh.

According to the Food Network Gossip site these will be the "NEW" episodes of the upcoming/current season. The Pioneer Woman Premiering Saturday, May 2nd at 10am - "Friendship Fiesta" Ree Drummond's daughter Alex and her best friends are heading to college, and while they have a dorm room craft day, Ree's cooking up a Tex-Mex feast with juicy marinated Green Chile Chicken, spicy Taco Potatoes, a layered Mexican Salad and a real show stopping finale, Key Lime Pie. Premiering Saturday, May 9th at 10am - "Just Me and the Girls" The guys are away and so it is 24 hours of just Ree Drummond and the girls. She whips up a Blueberry Crumb Cake for breakfast while they play with the new puppies. For dinner she dishes up Petite Filets with Wasabi Cilantro Cream, over-the-top decadent Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Paige's latest vegetable obsession, Lemony Broccolini. Premiering Saturday, May 23rd at 10am - "Happy Birthday, Ladd" Ree Drummond cooks up a celebration dinner for her husband, Ladd's, birthday. She dishes up all his favorite foods, including Chili Cheese Burgers, crisp Thin Fries, a cowboy-friendly Wedge Salad with Parmesan Peppercorn Ranch dressing and a towering Yellow Cake with the Chocolate Buttercream Frosting. Premiering Saturday, May 30th at 10am - "The Middles" Ree Drummond celebrates her children Paige and Bryce, with three snapshots of food and fun over a week while the other kids are away. She makes their favorite food starting with Cornmeal Pancakes with Blueberry Syrup. There is speedy, creamy Bow Tie Chicken Alfredo and build-your-own Grilled Fruit Pizzas with a cookie base, cream cheese frosting and indoor grilled glossy fruit. Oh look! More steak, burgers, ranch dressing, lettuce wedges, and of course, pasta. How unoriginal. At least they aren't down to 14 minute meals. I never did get that ridiculousness. If someone is showing up at my house last minute..they will have to wait.

Just caught up today with the Frontier Friendship.....really? potatoes with olive oil and taco seasoning? Can Ree be any less un-original? I Agree! I had ulcer surgery so cannot do spicy anything.

So, Nene alluded to Wendy Williams' husband losing it over her being on stage......any details on this? Wendy gets on my last nerve.

Andy's Interviews With The Housewives
autumnh replied to cooksdelight's topic in The Real Housewives Of Atlanta
I have not watched part 2 of the reunion...but on WWHL Nene alluded to Wendy Williams' husband having a melt down because she was on stage....did I miss something? Even though I am a NYC girl....WW gets on my last damn nerve. -
I happen to browse through the show where Josh was giving Alex a lesson...I mean really...2 pounds of beef for 3 burgers? holy moly.

I relate to Toi..I have Lupus SLE and it will totally and completely take over your life...and aside from meds...there isn't anything you can do about it. My husband is amazing thankfully.

Oh my....Bin can pronounce Champs-Élysées better than he can speak English! lol I do think Jessa will be a great mom....I don't think she will be as smother'y as Jill...I just wish she'd go to college..girl has the potential to actually do something. OR October 30th...also known as Devil's night! hehe

I just can't. Last night was so awful, scripted and fakeity fake fake fake that I had to turn it. I really enjoyed the first season and it has been downhill since. Oh and really? What is with MJ's hair? am I the only person who wants to brush that Amy Winehouse hot mess of a head? I think I am liking Vida more than anyone else..and that is saying a lot.

I totally think that they are using that November 1st due date for the pure awwww factor *gag* Bin and Jessa on the Duggar teat and as we all know..the Duggars are loaded. I would be that as long as Bin goes along, ol'JBob will keep him on in a Duggar handyman capacity. Besides..he isn't qualified to do anything. Heck, I have a hard enough time understand what he says most of the time anyways. I keep saying...that as long as they stagger these courtships, weddings and births the TLC train will keep paying and their fangirls will still be drinking the Kool-Aid. Unfortunately, I think they will be around for a long time to come. Oy vey. I fully expected her to get pregnant. Now that Jill is married and Izzy is born...do you not find it suspect that this pregnancy announcement comes a week or so after Izzy's entrance? This pregnancy and birth..plus Anna's birth and Josiah's courtship guarantees a few more seasons. I cannot stand them. They certainly are not dumb when it comes to business though. Frugal and simple? Riiight.

Am I the only person who just yells "shut up" at the television whenever this ridiculousness comes on? lol

Atlanta used to be one of my favorites...but I cannot take the fake, contrived storylines anymore. Especially once Kandi has a Ski Trip show? what in the heck? Ski Trip? ugh. I actually miss Kim and Sheree lol...and that says a lot!

Jbob is creepy anyways. You know? I often times thought that if one of the Duggars girls could branch out and have a career...it'd be Jessa...she is a tough chick (I am from Brooklyn) and she has that tenaciousness....BUT I truly believe that there is some unwritten rule that once you marry...you better have babies. I am STILL baffled by the Gothard families...people who listen to a man who is 80 years old and who has never been married etc and yet dictates relationship rules, marriage rules, sex and family size....tell tale signs of a cult...Creepy. The Gothard way has made a LOT of money for the Duggars so they have no need to be any different.

Aww, I am so sorry you had to deal with that..and I mean that so sincerely.....My niece went through IVF after IVF and finally had twin girls. I am so happy you have a daughter! I have often thought....what would happen if one of the girls or daughters in law suffered from infertility.....I mean how would the Dugs handle that? I cannot ever imagine being in that position or being under that kind of pressure.

I caught up on some episodes today....for some reason the whole fake "Hi guys!" gets on my last nerve. My husband said with a snicker...she has the most pleasant, cooperative children ever! lol

Well we can hope but I do not think it is feasible. I think they all know their role in the Duggar Dynasty. I was hoping Jessa held off until at least Bin had a career...but apparently he is tightly attached to the Duggar teat. They better produce or....... Seriously. ...we can speculate and wish all we want.....they have to adhere to the Duggar contract...because without babies, courtships and marriages...that TLC contract will dry up like a lake in California.
