I think Tyler is well aware of his market value. If he really thought he could trade up, I think he would. He stays with Cate because he's already broken her in and trained her to react to his controls. I don't think Tyler really wants a bad bitch. He wants a follower. I'm not even convinced her cares about her weight as much as he cares about holding power. I don't think he'd be more attracted to her if she was in Farrah's body, he'd find another way to subordinate her. It reads deeply insecure to me.

I can't believe I'm writing this but Amber has become the most articulate of this franchise. The rest of them mince their words and lose their nerve, Amber says exactly what she's thinking. She says it in a clear and easy to understand way. It's a skill and I hope she finds a good use for it.

Farrah got $15K and some minor royalties for the porn. No clue about her other earnings. She is unlikely to be a millionaire but probably has $500K.

I think she had decent insight "My mother is a threat to my happiness." I also think she was correct to remind Debra that her career was in the past. You can certainly retire after 30 years of work but you can't blow your retirement funds on the boy of the month.

AA and NA suggest being sober for a year before entering any new relationships. I don't know about other recovery programs.

Debra and Michael aren't prizes either. Recall that Sophia was less than 2 when Debra assaulted Farrah. Farrah's suggestion to Debra "You figure out your life and you can visit" was stunningly mature.
