Yeah, which only serves to further corroborate the double standards of the entertainment industry because they only ended up splitting the BC identity into 2 parts (mother and daughter) because Dinah Drake was getting "too old" for Oliver.

I think Robert Queen would be way too old for either character/actress.

The only Earth-2 Lauriver they could do would be in flashbacks because Earth-2 Oliver is dead. If they want to give Lauriver a happily ever after, they would either have to do it on Earth-1 (Black Siren/Green Arrow) or Earth-3, the Supergirl universe.

I think they're doing it because the comics have had a couple of storylines where GA/BC dated a version of each other from a different universe (e.g. E-2 Dinah Drake dated E-1 Oliver Queen throughout the 1970's, Dinah Laurel is currently dating Alternate-Oliver in the Injustice comics). That's really the main reason why certain parts of the Arrow fandom are desperate for a Black Siren redemption arc. They think it could open the door to the GA/BC romantic relationship they so desperately crave.

I didn't watch the DR panel video so I am just going by the writing, but I seem to detect quite a bit of frustration in some of his answers - especially when he talks about potential storylines he would like to see on the show.

Yeah, I think it would have made more sense to pair Mr. Terrific with Rene and BS with BC.

LOL, I'm not surprised that KC would be up for it because she has never been able to let go of the Oliver/Laurel romance, but I can not for the life of me understand why EBR would think it's a good idea - unless she was just trying to be polite?

I'm not really seeing how the writers can go for an Olicity slow burn next season, either. After the way this season ended, I would expect them to be back in a committed relationship when season 6 opens due to the time jump - unless Felicity is in a coma throughout the hiatus and only wakes up in the season premiere?

Yeah, they seemed to be evenly matched in terms of skill but at the end of the Canary Cry-off, BC was catapulted through a wall of bricks while BS got thrown back into an empty room. That's what allowed BS to gain the upper hand before Quentin knocked her out.

That's the thing, though. Many of the Laurel/KC stans on Reddit haven't watched the show in over a year, yet they spend countless hours bitching about it. It's absolutely pathetic.

Exactly. The Arrow writers pride themselves on being bold, but the reality is they are huge cowards. They constantly throw in these huge twists (e.g. OMG! Oliver enjoys killing! OMG! Felicity is shot and paralyzed! OMG! Laurel is dead and gone forever!) for shock value, but nothing ever seems to stick. It all ends up getting brushed off with no consequences and sooner or later, the show always goes back to the status quo. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they eventually make Earth-2 Laurel a fully fledged member of Team Arrow again. It would be completely idiotic because it would essentially wipe out the last 2 seasons of Arrow (and parts of season 6), but after everything that has happened, I just can't rule that out.

Arrow was still getting 1.3's at the start of the season. It's been hitting 0.9's since episode 14.

In 2x03, there was a very brief shot where you could see a Temple on the island. I'm guessing that's where the final battle takes place next week.
