Ha! That is brilliant! It's also clever how Sherman's dorkier side is still apparent, before the "Buddy Love" persona fully takes over.

My personal favorite Nutty Professor moment is when Buddy exacts revenge on the insult comic who humiliated him back when he was Sherman. I confess it's become a more rewarding scene in recent years, because I've come to loathe Dave Chappelle.

Another part that cracks me up: “I lost 300 pounds in 30 seconds! Thanks, Mega-Shake!” 

It’s the delivery and his big TV ad smile that sells it.

I'm fine whether or not TCM decides to show OJ Simpson in their "TCM Remembers" montage... but if they include him, I desperately it involves any of the slapstick violence from The Naked Gun movies.

Okay, so I wouldn't say this is "hilarious"; more like a tiny moment of humor I appreciated in a film that is definitely not a comedy:

So in Looper, lead character Joe is facing off with his older self (yes, there's time travel and other sci-fi themes) in a diner, and for context, it's been established that he has been trying to learn French:

Old Joe: *Says something in fluent French*

Young Joe: ??

Old Joe: "No? You'll get it eventually. ... Obviously." *kermit sip*

 

Yeah, it's a small thing, but it did get a chuckle out of me at the time, and I thought Bruce Willis nailed the delivery.
