I do like that our girl Cindy has a snarky side, like when she talks about interrupting the "music lesson" (even Jaq and Gus can't help but laugh).

Loved that too. Almost rivals Belle’s backhanded “I just don’t deserve you” rejection to Gaston.

Speaking of rejection, Lottie in The Princess and the Frog was the anti-Anastasia/Drizella in the way that, despite being a bit spoiled, she loved Tiana like a sister and was generally kind to everyone. But I did love how she wasn’t afraid to be brutally honest with that dork who kept pestering her to dance all evening after she tried to be nice with the “maybe later” excuse: “Travis, when a woman says ‘later,’ what she really means is ‘Forget it!’”

Good for her.

That reminds me of a scene in the western Support Your Local Sheriff when the Sheriff, Jake and Prudy are shooting at the bad guys. The Sheriff crossed the street into the building Prudy's firing from and yells at her for killing the bad guys

the Sheriff "ain't you ever heard of just wounding them?"

Prudy: "I only know ONE way to shoot, and that's to kill."
