thewhiteowl July 11, 2017 Share July 11, 2017 Sig's stress takes a toll. Sean tries to dock in a hurricane. Keith is left dead-stick in massive seas. Jake motivates a defiant hand. Jonathan rolls the dice by Russia. Link to comment
HoodlumSheep July 12, 2017 Share July 12, 2017 Love how the title is "dead-stick" and the lost throttle only lasted like 5 minutes in-show. Lol. Still a scary situation. We got to see everyone except for Wild Bill. That was nice. I like it when we get the usual 2-3 boats ad captains per episode. Sig...i feel like his "don't stress, don't stress" mantra was only stressing him out more. Someone grab those cigarettes away from him, too. I question his "down to a pack a day" based on what we've seen so far this opie season. The Jake/dean war...nothing but kids. Dean should have been tossed from the boat a zillion episodes ago. I was surprised the one deckhand didn't accidently shove him over the rail. Sean obviously found a spot to dock? Unless i missed something?? One moment the last resort dock failed, then the next time we see him he's docked. 3 Link to comment
iluvobx July 12, 2017 Share July 12, 2017 I noticed that too, Hoodlumsheep. He tried to dock at the pot dock, couldn't and then he is docked and they are almost done with his offload. Talking about a big time gap. 1 Link to comment
millennium July 15, 2017 Share July 15, 2017 Jake Anderson is embarrassing to watch. The whole generation of new so-called captains, with the exception of Sean, has been a farce: Josh Harris, Elliot Neece, and now Jake Anderson. His ranting "I'M THE CAPTAIN!" shows how little control he really has. Don't know what anyone else's impression was, but I got the feeling Jake is on something. 4 Link to comment
walnutqueen July 15, 2017 Share July 15, 2017 I don't necessarily think Jake is on anything but his own stunted emotional personality. He is incapable of commanding the respect of his subordinates because of his own insecurities. He was very lucky that the deckhands backed him up dealing with the toxic - but I'm giving them props for doing the right thing. I really want Sig to "retire", and just do Evine seafood hosting gigs. It'll never happens, though - I think Edgar's prediction of Sig dying in the Captain's chair will come true some day. I just hope the Disco cameras aren't there to capture the "journey", as they were with Phil Harris. 4 Link to comment
Lonesome Rhodes July 18, 2017 Share July 18, 2017 Didja notice the difference in the captains when this real deal storm was a comin'? No screwing around. Safe harbor, here we come! Didja further notice how ALL the ice was gone as it approached? I chuckled when the fool on the Saga was alllll about having time to eat, and when told he has 20 minutes, it became alllll about sleep! Classic. I wonder why there wasn't any discussion of potential dead loss due to the delay in running to safe harbor. It's such a shame, but Sig simply does not value his life more than going to sea. That's a danger for those who are so driven to a particular success. How the heck to turn off decades of your driving passion? 2 Link to comment

Quilty July 19, 2017 Share July 19, 2017 I really enjoy watching Sean's scenes. He seems smart. Mature and professional. And he's a cutie! 2 Link to comment
