Luke is relieved when Lorelai thinks it was a really good kiss...and doesn't want to forget it. 4. Lorelai and Rory thaw their tension with "bark and cheese" conversation on phone. 6. Luke gets emotional while looking over his dad's boat 8. Luke agrees that he was lost without Lorelai when she discovers a reggae CD in his truck...."you bet." 10. Lorelai proposes to Luke. 11. Lane telling Mrs Kim that the band had broken up and Mrs Kim helps them organise a tour. 12. Lane and Zach's awkward but sweet first date. 13. Luke tells Lorelai about the time they met and shows her the horoscope. 14. Luke builds Lorelai an ice rink as he doesn't want her to be grumpy about snow like he is. 15. Luke being so proud of Lorelai over the Dragonfly getting into the magazine. 19. Luke winks at the end of the defense of their relationship at the town meeting 20. Lorelai is happy to have someone to blame now for things like her mother calling 22. Luke blurts out his plan to kidnap Rory and bring her back home and to her senses 23. Luke's so angry and Lorelai's so manic and I'm so tired of what happens when you try to sweep things under the rug on this show instead of just dealing with them Everything you wrote here is true way, way too often throughout their relationship, IM(U)O :) Luke's angry and annoyed with her and the world in general, she's manic and uncomfortable and eagerly trying to calm him down, and they communicate either horribly or, like, not at all! I just can't find most L/L scenes awww-worthy, especially once they became more than friends. But I do find the fanfic versions of them awww-worthy more often than not, so it's too bad fanfic scenes aren't eligible here :) 2 Link to comment

I do like the L/L moments, but it seems there were A LOT this season and some I, honestly don't remember. I'm not even sure how that's possible, since I've seen every episode dozens upon dozens of times, but they tend to all run together. Bark and cheese was so sweet to me, but oh well.) Link to comment

amensisterfriend September 5, 2016 Share September 5, 2016 I actually liked 15---I feel like it's one of the only times we saw a natural warmth and affection between L/L once they started dating. I'm actually curious as to why so many find the proposal awww-worthy! No one has to answer, obviously---I'm just interested, not trying to put anyone on the spot :) For me it was such an unbelievably uncomfortable proposal that clearly sprung from Lorelai's impulsive, current Rory-related fears and desperation, not genuine readiness to marry Luke, and that was kind of borne out by what followed---the extremely muted, joyless engagement 'celebration' and both Luke and Lorelai avoiding setting a wedding date and just generally acting like their impending nuptials was a looming punishment rather than something they were ready and eager to do. I do like the proposal because I like how you can see what Lorelai's thinking and that moment when she knows she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. I also love how the realisation came when he was actually talking about Rory. :) However, I do find the other moments more aww worthy so sadly will have to eliminate the proposal. Link to comment
cantbeflapped September 5, 2016 Share September 5, 2016 22, 28 I haven't voted for the proposal yet simply because there are others that are less worthy to stay on the list, IMO. The proposal isn't a very favorite scene for me or anything, but I think it's sweet in that Lorelai loves Luke and wants to spend the rest of her life with him. And he is very sweetly pleased when he accepts (probably the most aww worthy part). However, I don't think his kidnapping plans are that sweet....hence, my vote here. :). Link to comment
