Raven1707 February 19, 2017 Share February 19, 2017 The Cable Live +3 Ratings are in for "Rock in the Road": “The Walking Dead” roared back to the top of the cable ratings with the opening of Season 7b on Feb. 12. I have to think that that person was threatening someone (Judith?) or why would he go along when there were many times when he could have run off and raised an alarm? He wasn't trying to be quiet either. Either he went willingly or he was protecting Alexandrians, imo. But I don't know what that one person could do that was so terrifying. Well, it's not like they were trying to scare Abraham. You could intimidate FPP by waving a spooky hand puppet. 1 Link to comment

It got people killed. He came upon the Wolves once and let them go. Those Wolves attacked ASZ and killed innocent ASZhats who didn't know their head from a hole in the ground. He then SAW with his own eyes what they were truly up to, and STILL let a group of about 4 of them go. ... and take a gun with them. I guess he was pretty sure they'd behave from there on in. 2 Link to comment

Yeah, she's not intense; she's not a natural leader; she's not drop-dead gorgeous, but she steps up, always. I love how goofy she is with the fist bumps and the jokes. I agree, when she's in the background playing the "every woman" role and being goofy, etc.(which is also what I really liked about Denise - she was just a regular person) It's when Tara was given her own episode and was trying to be some sort of Ninja, dodging bullets and being heroic that her character becomes cringeworthy. The actress just isn't nearly good enough to carry an ep by herself. I hadn't been so bored since we spent like 10 hours watching Morgan listen to parables from the cheese maker and practice stick movements in slo-mo. That ep, BTW, immediately followed the cliff-hanger which left Rick hopelessly trapped in the RV by a herd of walkers. Show? Pacing? Really? Jesus H.... 2 Link to comment
CletusMusashi February 20, 2017 Share February 20, 2017 (edited) I love Gregory's big sneaky plan to keep his meeting with CDB secret. "Go out the back." Because.... Negan only tells his goons to spy on one gate? Maybe he just never finished his instructions. "Boys, I say, listen ta me, boys. The Hilltop, it's got two gates. So, first, I want half of you to watch the front gate. Watch it good. Good, I say. Are you payin; attention, boys? Reminds me of a story about Lucille..." Forty five minutes later he sees a shiny object and wanders off, leaving half the surveillance team with no clear objective, so they end up getting high and watching Tony Danza reruns all day. You know, actually this war might actually be winnable. Especially if Carol has been saving banana peels. Edited February 20, 2017 by CletusMusashi 5 Link to comment

The thing is, they're actually talking a smart approach. Learning to ride horses, archery, etc., but they got the 'king' playing community theatre. I used the 're' spelling because you know Ezekiel says "theaatrrrrree!" I can't really say they have their heads in the sand or are out of touch like the ASZ pre-Rick. I don't know why TPTBs think having a small society adapting to this world isn't dramatic enough. "Wait for it..tiger! It's gold!" 1 Link to comment
ByTor February 20, 2017 Share February 20, 2017 @mightysparrow, can I have a watch party with you so we could hate Rick together? It makes me sad that in addition to Rick working my last nerve, I have new contenders in Maggie and Daryl, formerly my favorite characters. Also...I'm behind a week & just caught up with the thread now. I don't know if yesterday's show cleared up why Rick was smiling at the end, but I don't understand the sentiment that Rick was smiling because he sees an armed group that would join him. Besides his arrogance, why would Rick assume that group would be on his side? Link to comment
