David T. Cole April 21, 2014 Share April 21, 2014 When mother-to-be Maggie asks career-driven Emma to return home from her job overseas to attend her baby shower, neither of them have any idea about what's truly in store. The pilot airs April 29 but is available online now. Link to comment
ApathyMonger April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Between this, The Good Wife, and Silicon Valley, Zach Woods is definitely Suddenly Everywhere. I wonder if he's going to be back on Veep again too. Link to comment
Skyfall April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 Zach Woods is great, too bad he was added to The Office during the downturn. Link to comment
rungirl911 April 28, 2014 Share April 28, 2014 I thought this was really cute. I liked the last show that Jessica and Lennon were in (Best Friends Forever) and like that they are friends in real life. I laughed at a lot of the jokes and my bf even liked it enough. I like the premise (although it's pretty much exactly opposite BFF's premise + a baby). Link to comment

Bastet April 30, 2014 Share April 30, 2014 I was hoping this would be a frothy fun sitcom, and as someone who has been best friends with her best friend since childhood I'm a sucker for this sort of tale (although since I hate kids, there is no way I'd be offering to raise a child with her should she wind up parenting alone), but I just can't deal with another story of professional women being unfulfilled and small-town life being where it's at. halgia May 4, 2014 Share May 4, 2014 As a pilot: sure. As noted in the comments, not crazy about the weird Asian jokes, and it's very plot mechanicy and a little light on jokes. But the core friendship + Zach Woods + Key works well enough here that I'll definitely keep watching. My main problem so far is that every few minutes I suddenly start hearing them as Marissa Wompler and Miss Listler, and it's really distracting. :| Link to comment

Valny May 12, 2014 Share May 12, 2014 Finally tried this one after I heard so many good things. I hadn't even known about it or one thing about it,which is odd for me since I'm such a new show finder-outer. Anyway, I laughed quite a few times during the pilot, the comedy didn't feel forced or induce eye-rolling. I think it made me laugh the most when they "accidentally" cut into the husband's video feed with the German porny lady. OMG, the look on all the ladies faces at the baby shower actually had me in tears as the situation got worse and worse. I will be definitely watching more. I've heard the second ep is really funny, so I'm looking forward to the rest. It's on Demand so yay! 1 Link to comment
