I've only watched a couple episodes of the original WAGS, but wanted to see this one because I'm from Miami.  I'll tell you what, they didn't disappoint.  They were all so classic Miami...it was great!

I almost died when Hencha outed that one chick as an escort.  She didn't sip the tea, she just tossed that hot ass beverage right in that girls face.  No tact!

I guess this show isn't too popular. I started watching the LA version mid-season and decided to try this as well. 

I was surprised by Claudia's football ignorance, especially as she seems so invested in her relationship.

And I'm not sure I understand why Darnell's fiancee wants the ring back. Their conflict seems very "off" to me.

Not only did she not know anything about football, but she was attempting to have a serious conversation with her boyfriend, a football player, during the last quarter of a game.  The hell!  She should know better.

I kinda get the sense that Darnell's dude is pissed she decided to the show.  When he cancelled the engagement party, it was because she planned to invite the cast.  He said something along the lines of why are those girls coming, and gave her the sideeye when she said they were her friends.

I liked the L.A. version better, but this was entertaining. I used to tutor athletes when I was in college, so I got to see some of the behavior (the concerns about groupies, the overprotective girlfriends, etc.) on a smaller scale. 

Of this cast, I ended up liking Darnell, Vanessa, and shockingly, Hencha (someone needs to create drama). Claudia seemed far too absent, which was probably better for her relationship, but not so fun to watch.

I liked it too. The reunion (they didn't do one for L.A., did they?) was kind of a mess. Much yelling.

I remain confused about Darnell's breakup. Like, what happened?

Vanessa's seeming ambivalence about her BF's possible infidelities made me sad, but I guess that's what a lot of women in that world put up with. She seems to be the  only one that gets along with everyone. 

Claudia...I want to like her, perhaps because I like her fiancee, but she seems so very removed. 

A shallow observation - the hair! All of the women have lovely hair, but there's so much of it. How do they deal with the Miami humidity? Whenever I'm there, it's 100% topknot time.

I watched a full series of Wags and a couple series of Wags Miami. I can definitely say the later is more entertaining. It has slot more drama. Hencha brings alot of drama.

Darnell taking the ring back may seem like a low blow. As much as it was upsetting watching his ex fiance cry. It will all work out. She will find some one who she's meant to be with. She's a pretty woman. It won't take her long stall.

I didn't like how Astrid always jumped to Claudia's defence when she got called out. It has nothing to do with her. Claudia is a big woman. She can fight her own battles. Astrid is like a puppies. Plus, she's a fake friend to the other women. She says one thing to their face and behind their back she says another.

Just caught the one episode today. So many of these bad reality tv shows are blurring together--- the women kinda all look the same & act the same & I don't really care too much about them or their petty dramas. & I don't really recognize any of their husbands/boyfriends/baby daddys.

I miss Basketball "Wives" of Miami because there were a few classy, well-spoken girls in the mix. That made it more distinctive & gave me some women I could relate to. Plus, the show was more of a novelty then.

I was mildly interested in the really pretty woman having drama with her future MIL. The show should have given more time to the future MIL, because I didn't get her point of view at all. She just seemed like a bitter older woman in need of a makeover. Yes, the really pretty girl's wedding timeline is absent, but I kinda got what she said about having to schedule everything in the off-season. 

The only other thing I remember is the cartoonish butt implants of a couple of the WAGS. 

Meh. Is anybody watching this?

Isn't she a model or "model"?  I get not changing your hair unless the client asks…but I'm pretty sure the client could slap the wig on her head before the photo shoot.  I wonder if her real hair is falling out so she's sporting the wig instead.

WhyTF are Astrid & Claudia caring so much about Darnell's partying?  Is she not allowed to cut loose once in a while?  Or is it that Faven's right, they don't want to see Darnell travel down the neglectful parent route?  When Faven called Claudia neglectful I almost fell out!  Notice Claudia was momentarily upset, but knows no lies were told (or so it would seem).

Ashley hasn't really done any research except looking at pretty beach pictures?  Phil is laid back, but I doubt he wants to do intensive wedding planning during the off-season.

Hencha just wants a good time, can't hate on that.  But no one wants to set up a trainwreck with a blind date in case it goes south.  So not surprised Hencha's mad, but also not surprised Astrid didn't want to put her neck out for her.

I did not know Phil was into yoga!  He's already ridiculously pretty, this just increased it.  And it was nice to see the gender flip, even if Ashley was acting extra.  Usually it's the woman all gung-ho about yoga & the man is rolling his eyes, acting a fool.  I also liked that Philip took her side in the destination wedding discussion with his mom.  Mom knows damn well it ain't her wedding and is trying to shade the expense.  Maybe she worries that the more spent now, the less there will be later for her.

Faven is making it happen!  I like that her fashion is in a niche she can exploit as a WAG.  Smart business there, and Corey finally understanding was wonderful (even if his initial pushback was a bit scripted).

LOVE LOVE LOVE Hencha!  She went for it with Michael for revenge and now just wants him…and vice versa.  Suck it, Astrid!  And, by the way, I caught that coded language about not feeling safe…bitch, I see you.  You threw the drink, deal with the consequences.  Don't act like Hencha is some wild woman with no sense or reason.

Next week looks interesting.

This was so sexy!  I had to push my tongue back into my mouth during that scene.  I regularly did yoga in Miami for 15+ years and never came across that kind of eye candy.  So jealous.  Philip and Ashley make a gorgeous couple.  I would watch Athletes Do Yoga, the TV show. 

There was also lots of deliciousness at the suit fitting and the fashion show.  Can't stand Faven, but I appreciate what she's doing for the community by making these men look hella fine in these tailored suits.

I like that the editing is confirming Hencha's talk about Astrid.  And Claudia not showing up for the photo shoot should have told Astrid exactly how unimportant she is to Claudia when Claudia doesn't need anything from her.  And Claudia, I'm sure you keep super busy checking on Julius to make sure he isn't banging your replacement as soon as you're out of sight.

Claudia gives zero fucks about Astrid, so the way that Astrid fawns over her is cringeworthy. 

I liked Darnell last season but I find her to be soooo annoying now. I do enjoy her friendship with Ashley. Speaking of Ashley I laughed when she said Astrid wasn't invited to the wedding. Astrid shouldn't have a problem with it since she insisted that Ashley and Darnell were so ratchet last season.

I love Ashley.  I love that she told Claudia, "You aren't invited to my bachelorette party.  Why would you even want to come?" and then gave Claudia a "blink-blink" when she started with the, "I just want the best for you" bullshit.  I also love that she was like, "Why would Astrid be nervous; she's not going to the wedding."  So great.  I would totally watch a show of just her and Darnell.  I love that they have an actual friendship and they're pretty funny when they're together.

Claudia's enhanced rear looks absurd. Perhaps it looks better in person. Her friendship with Astrid definitely seems one-sided.

Hencha continues to amuse me.

Darnell and Darnell - that's cute.

I wonder what happened between Sasha and Autumn? Nice set up for when the LA version returns.
