RHJunkie April 25, 2016 Share April 25, 2016 Her video with Kloe said the same thing re Brandi. Does she consider this a job and going for it? Or is she now using that to excuse her behavior? Another damage control spew, is her mission statement of "I own it." She absolves any wrong doing by owning it. She demands everyone to own it, too! . Gawd. Her insincerity again rears its head in this clip (also posted above) http://www.enstarz.com/articles/108720/20150916/lisa-rinna-news-brandi-glanville-reacts-to-former-co-star-missing-her-on-rhobh-video.htm She is not 'genuinely concerned' about Kim, not in the least! No one becomes concerned unless it is about something very close in your life involving someone or something dear to you or something that will impact you negatively. And that is normal. Being concerned has become a social tic. She is acting for job security and at the same time covering her ass in what she has done. That is the answer to the questions I posed in my first paragraph! She is a busy girl! I think LR just lacks self awareness. I think she's being truthful to herself and that's why she doesn't understand that saying 'I own it' is completely diminished by following it up with 'she made me do it'. She has misspoken several times to a point where even her own husband has gone on the record to correct her comments. That to me suggests she is a woman that is so involved in her own perspective that that's the only truth she can acknowledge and that's the only truth she feels exists. I think she wanted to play a similar role to what she played in Kim's storyline last year where she was heavily involved but the controversy was centred around another person. Similar to how her interactions with Kim made Kim a focal point, I think she expected to bring up the M topic which would naturally focus on Yolanda except Yolanda was hardly around to make it the centre of attention, she didn't get Kyle and LVP on board acknowledging the legitimacy of the M diagnosis and she got huge blowback from her colleagues and fans. 3 Link to comment
Umbelina April 25, 2016 Share April 25, 2016 I really think this whole thing is based in "Anybody But ME!" Someone is always on the hot seat during a season. Sometimes more than one person, but really, it's always the same old thing. What makes RHNY more interesting is the women are more fearless and speak their own minds, instead of the cowardly hiding behind others crap. They have also done the "gang up" game, but aren't quite so weasel-ly about it. They fight their own battles, and everyone's life is fair game at the same time. With Eileen and Lipsa? I think they were both given a strong talking to about "bringing it!" Lipsa got it the first time, but Eileen gets it this season, and it shows, so I believe she was threatened with loss of the paycheck. Anyway, it all comes down (on this particular show) to targeting someone else in order to have nothing negative shown about THEM. Of course Lipsa adored having Brandi and Kim to attack! Fans on my side! Yay! With them gone, who to pick on so no one focuses on the piles of stuff hidden in their closets? Why, Yolanda of course! She'd already seen Lisa and Kyle giggling and gossiping about Yo's Instagram, so allies! Mid way, they realize that Lisa may gossip in private, but she's careful about what she says on camera. Eileen over-reacts to the "affair" talk, for whatever reason and is pissed. Lipsa is also pissed because Lisa let her say munchhausens and then didn't pile on, leaving Lipsa's naked ass waving in the breeze, so she got pissed to. Target changed. What about all the times the other wives said things about Lisa's manipulative ways! Let's go after her! (Partially because by now Eileen wasn't all that gung ho about attacking Yolanda.) So, expecting Kyle's support, since Kyle's tried for years to bring Lisa down, and with some genuine emotion behind it now, it becomes "Get Lisa!" Sooner or later, these women's closets will be opened, laughed at, and examined. Kim tried. If anyone can succeed? It will be Lisa. Get ready. 4 Link to comment

Yes. Good points. I love the first sentence in bold! LOL! Link to comment
kokapetl April 25, 2016 Share April 25, 2016 "Anyone but me!" sort of naturally led to Yolanda, since "everyone but Yolanda" was showing up. 2 Link to comment
