I think it was in the first episode.  Floyd tells Charley to gather everyone into the house, he goes to the barn, where Dodd (?) and another guy had this poor schmuck tied to a chair, torturing him for some damn thing.  I think it was Dodd who said to the guy "Can't you hear?" and somebody said "You cut his ears off."  We see the ears in a bucket.  Hanzee pokes the guy and said "I think he's dead."

 

Then after they leave, a dog trots over and slurps the ears out of the bucket.  :-)
