gesundheit April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 Kidnappers are always allowed to call their victims repeatedly from federal prison, obviously! I still have whiplash from whatever they're trying to do with David's character. So he spent 15 years not mentioning an affair he had because it didn't occur to him that it might be connected to his child's kidnapping (despite romantic dalliances being a standard question that he would have been asked several times during the investigation), and then when he found out his ONS was the kidnapper, he still didn't bother to tell anyone even though she was on the run and it's possible that information could have helped them track her down somehow. But he did that because during that whole time he thought the kidnapping was "all his fault." So much so that... instead, he completely betrayed the kidnapped daughter and the rest of his family by writing a book about them that he continually lied and promised them he wasn't doing? THAT's how he handled his guilt over the Lori connection? Yeah, seems like he was really hard on himself about it. It's a good thing Denisof is so sympathetic, somehow he sells everything, no matter how utterly cockamamie. Even as a guilty pleasure I'm not sure I can stick around this show because.... Crash. It's too much to ask. 1 Link to comment

OrientalAmish April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 (edited) How old is Grant, again? It seems like puberty is hitting him hard....And, I know I am going to get stoned to death for saying this, but I am not a fan of Max's hair.... But, I don't like long hair on guys, anyways.... The shorter the hair, the sexier to me.... Max's personality sure makes up for the lack of appeal of his hair, though.... Edited April 15, 2015 by OrientalAmish 1 Link to comment
sekay87 April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 The most ridiculous part to me is that Elizabeth and David didn't bother telling Elizabeth's parents about the fact that they used an egg donor. I mean seriously? That just takes unrealistic to a level I didn't know existed. Link to comment
OrientalAmish April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 Does the writers really expect us to believe that someone can get accepted to Stanford just because they got an amazing story that they call life experience alone without good enough grades to go along with it? Thanks a lot MTV.... 3 Link to comment

I mean seriously? That just takes unrealistic to a level I didn't know existed. Yeah, that was hard for me to swallow. Hasn't the implication been that the grandparents were over-involved in decision-making because they were helping finance Elizabeth and David's lives (before Liz got her law enforcement salary and David hit pay dirt with the book about the kidnapping)? I would have assumed her parents helped pay for the whole egg donation process. Also, why did the grandparents get shushed when they said the family should sue the clinic. THEY SHOULD! 1 Link to comment

Kat April 15, 2015 Share April 15, 2015 LOOK AT HIS HAIR, GIRL. Hee! This part of Sarah's recap cracked me up. But holy yes, Alex Saxon's hair is so damn magical, and I don't typically like long hair. It is beyond ridiculous that Lori would be able to call Carter and Taylor; I can't even fan-wank it. David and Elizabeth continue to make very poor choices. What am I saying; EVERYONE on this show makes poor choices. I find the actor who plays Crash to have a very punchable face. It's not doing this character any good because I just want to wipe that smirk off his face with my fists. 5 Link to comment

Thanks a lot MTV.... This was the easiest to digest part of the episode for me. They would be banking on Carter doing interviews/conitnuing to be a news story as she got older/graduated and the name of the college she attended getting press constantly 3 Link to comment
dohe April 20, 2015 Share April 20, 2015 The show is wasting an outstanding performance by Prescott. It also moves way too fast and is getting too outlandish. Link to comment
kat165 April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 Gensundheit, I don't find Denishof sympathetic at all. This is the first thing I've seen him in though. Here he comes off very creepy. I loathe Crash. He's no kind of bad boy. He just comes off as a spoiled rich kid. This actor really doesn't fit the role. I hope Carter doesn't go back to him. And I don't think he's hot at all. Whoever said it, I think you're right, this is being written by a 16 year old. Actually, maybe a 12 yr old. I'm having a hard time with Taylor's acting. I know she was suppose to be drunk, but her acting is so flat and toneless. It's painful to sit through. 3 Link to comment
HeatherinThailand June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 I know I'm late to the party, having just started bingewatching this summer, but may I say that Max is quite possibly the most sane and best teen character ever written? He is a fount of wisdom about the forgiving and moving on aspect of it, among other things. He is also the only consistent thing about this show, which is taking a fascinating premise and making everything about it unrealistic in ways I never thought possible. Yet, I can't quit it. 1 Link to comment
