mertensia April 25 Share April 25 Yeah, not surprised by who left. Thank goodness they didn't make everyone chug the booze down considering they have a recovering alcoholic as a contestant. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153245-s04e11-tapas-in/#findComment-8645041

I have to admit that she's a very good cook but she's immature and quite annoying. I'm glad Megan finally won something. I never thought she'd get as far as she has but I like her. I like all the men who are left and hope one of them wins but I'm afraid it will be Beatrice. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153245-s04e11-tapas-in/#findComment-8645470

woofy April 26 Share April 26 While I agree Beatrice is annoying, I think Austin is too, and I'd like to see both of them go. His whiny lament last week about Beatrice stealing his prawns was ridiculous. It's a competition; that happens. And this week, he didn't wear gloves or a mask even tho he had a stomach flu or something like that. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153245-s04e11-tapas-in/#findComment-8645990
Ancaster April 26 Share April 26 One thing I do know is that if I ever see Beatrice is on a TV show over the next ten years, I will not be watching. After that I might give her a second chance. People keep pointing out that she's only 18, but to me, half the time she behaves and comments like an 8-year-old. (I don't dispute that she's obviously very talented and surprisingly knowledgeable for her age, which is laudable, and I fully expect her to win.) 6 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153245-s04e11-tapas-in/#findComment-8646088
Lurk April 26 Share April 26 I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Beatrice. She's this season's Teeny the bobblehead blonde from last season. It's like they always use a cast menu for all the game shows and reality shows where they typecast the same people over and over. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153245-s04e11-tapas-in/#findComment-8646367
Pepper the Cat April 26 Share April 26 While I don’t wish failure on anyone I do think it would do Beatrice a world of good to be sent to the basement. 4 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153245-s04e11-tapas-in/#findComment-8646421

Beatrice faced elimination in ep 8, knocking out Iman. She hasn't been in basement because she's had the winning dish 5 out of the 8 challenges. blackwing April 27 Share April 27 Arnav seemed like a nice kid, too bad he had to go but I preferred to see Brandon and Bobby stay over him. 9 hours ago, Lurk said: I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Beatrice. Yep. Another type that they have done multiple times now is the Weepy Asian Female. Tricia from the first season and now Becca. 23 hours ago, Ancaster said: People keep pointing out that she's only 18, but to me, half the time she behaves and comments like an 8-year-old. paramitch Saturday at 08:24 AM Share Saturday at 08:24 AM (edited) I've been divided on Beatrice because she's so young and is obviously ridiculously talented. I've been incredibly impressed with her skills on the show. But when everyone clapped for Austin's success this week and she just stood there with her arms crossed and a smug expression on her face? Yeah, I'm rooting pretty hard against her now. It's just a single moment that belies that all the "it's just a game!" chatter from her is BS. She's just being vindictive because she can, and because she seems to like it. All the "no hard feelings" schtick from her is just a different way of her demonstrating her arrogance. Not to mention that her cheering people on from the sidelines always comes across as badly acted and fake to me. I don't think she's irredeemable or anything -- she's just a kid. But I started out liking her a lot and that liking has ebbed away more with every passing week. I'm not super thrilled with Austin either, mind you -- he's been a whiny child this entire time, although I have more sympathy because Beatrice is openly pressing his buttons. His mistake is that he's letting her get to him -- he needs to just shrug it off and cook. I like Megan, I just get frustrated because she's so inconsistent. I would rather Ryan win than Megan (or Beatrice), just because he is so incredibly consistent. I also like Bobby for similar reasons, and plus he seems like a decent guy above the mad cooking skills. And in fact, I was a little irritated at Nyesha in this episode, because she seemed to be trolling Bobby and trying way too hard to get him to admit he was some kind of bad guy, just because he's nice yet competitive -- she kept implying that he isn't acting like his social media presence. What, is he mean and evil on social media? (I doubt it, because it would be stupid.) Or just competitive? It just seemed really not okay to me that she wouldn't let that "joke" go. I did laugh during the final elimination challenge when Brandon just stayed absolutely chill and silent while working and didn't respond to the help from the sidelines at all. Who can blame him? Edited Saturday at 08:26 AM by paramitch than, not that... 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153245-s04e11-tapas-in/#findComment-8652126
